Initially my rescue doll started with Alison for whom I wrote a review, raving about her awing skills and conscientiousness that literally identified the nutritional key to save my MopTi’s life.
Months, MopTi switched to Katie to help alleviate Alison’s overwhelming schedule.
To my welcomed amazement, during these recent few years, Katie has proven no less skilled, conscientious and devoted. She has repeatedly revised MopTi’s recipe and supplements to adhere to her evolving and rather atypical kidney issues. As Mopti’s mom, I always feel confident that Katie will be there for us, will respond to my queries with readily comprehensible answers, be open to discuss my ideas — and from her vast knowledge and research skills go to extraordinary ends to devise solutions to MopTi’s complex issues.
Katie’s comprehensiveness, holistic approach and consideration of every interrelated aspect is so blatant that MopTi’s much admired vet, who like most is short on nutritional skills, has exclaimed that he’s “learning from Katie.”
In many ways, Katie has gone over-and-above to make MopTi healthier and keep her kidney and related issues in check. For instance, from what I assume is her scientific analysis combined with her keen intuition, she suggested that I have MopTi’s Vitamin D levels and gut microbiome tested. Since no labs capable of such tests exist in the country where we live, she even helped me find and negotiate ones I could access internationally. The results showing MopTi’s imbalances confirmed that Katie’s concerns were well founded. And armed with the results she has worked to provide nutritional tweaks, supplements, etc so that MopTi’s body can work towards homeostasis to correct the issues.
I could go on and on….
But to sum up, I’ve found Katie’s consults invaluable.
She’s kept MopTi alive and thriving when most with her condition would be in a devastating state.
You will give yourself and your beloved furbaby a precious gift by working with Katie!

I took her class and it was very informative. My dogs LOVED the recipe that was cooked in class (we brought home a fresh sample), they gobbled it right up. On her website you can get links and discounts on supplements. Great experience.

I have tried everything for my dog that seems allergic to everything.
I read a advert on Facebook about their gut guardian having no yeast products in it and ordered it, it is expensive but I must have spent hundreds on products.
So Sally my dog has been on it 10 days what a game changer, no more diarrhoea and her hiding away with stomach ache and last night I didn't give her the apoquel tablet after cutting her dose down over the last couple of days, fingers crosses she doesn't start itching. It's so lovely to have our old dog back can definitely recommend.

Worked with Alison over the last year. I would have liked to give a better review but it’s been stressful from the start. In the beginning I was very worried about my pup. She told me she would have a date with a new recipe to send for her that should help her stop the constant puking. It took her weeks, or maybe a month, after her original date and multiple emails of her saying she will get it to me by this day and this day, and not following through. At that point I was contemplating a refund. She had finally sent me the info on her new diet to try so I stuck it out. Throughout the past year though, it was like pulling teeth trying to get her to respond to my emails. It would take weeks. Sometimes I’d check in, trying to be patient or resend the email. Again, another week or two without hearing back. Then when she did answer, it felt like a rushed incomplete answer. Only answering one of my two questions for example. I understand busyness but I was a customer as well and didn’t feel like I was a priority after that bumpy start we had. My dog is better but in all honesty, her condition hasn’t changed. We just avoid certain trigger foods and that’s how she stopped the puking. Vet doesn’t know what it is. I was hoping it was something we could heal, not just avoid, but that’s the way it goes sometimes. I wish my experience with Alison was better, but it ended up being constant frustration and a waiting game. I’m a pretty patient person as well. Unfortunately I would not recommend her to someone for this reason.

My Maggie had been suffering terribly with allergies, the vet just placed her on Apoquel without finding the root cause, Apoquel came with a lot of side effects and eventually wasn't helping at all, in fact I'd go as far to say it made her allergies worse. I came across Alison Daniel from mypetnutrionist in July/August 2023, well to say this lady has been amazing doesn't seem to be enough, in just a short space of time and gut guardian and other gut supplements introduced for a complete detox has been phenomenal to say the least, the difference in Maggie has been amazing, she had been diagnosed with a skin condition at the vets but no skin scrapes had been done!, so when came across Alison and the team I was literally at breaking point not knowing how to help my dog which is upsetting when you see them suffering, she is like a new dog since we started working on her immune system, her muzzle/snout area is lovely and white and has been for over a month now whereas before it was red raw from where she'd been rubbing and scratching, weight is coming down nicely as huge weight increase on the Apoquel, her coat is so silky soft and shiny, her energy levels are back to that of a 2yr old rather than a 10yr old, still slight scratching around ribs but still early days and is still a drastic improvement compared to what I'd call frenzied scratching before working with Alison, she's like a new dog, and she's generally happier all round. Amazing lady, thank you so so much so far Alison, you've been an absolute blessing. I can't believe that for a year and a half at the vets with no visible improvement that you have transformed Maggie in just over 3 months. Alison and her team are well worth investing in, their knowledge and expertise is above and beyond. Thank you. Donna and Maggie.

Thank you, Ali for everything you have done for Luna so far. When I first came to you, I was at my wits end nothing seemed to be helping her after being diagnosed with IBD. We had so many nights at the out of hours and she would always suffer from tummy pains and diarrhoea. Not only are you an amazing professional and spent days on end to help me find the right protein for her and supplements, but also you have always replied to my messages regardless of the late hour and sometimes even at the weekend. Luna has come so far now and she's getting better and better and all of this thanks to you! If I were to start this journey again, I would choose you all over again. Forever grateful! 💕 xx

My dog had been experiencing a very upset tum, with mucous-covered stool and watery diarrhoea, regardless of what I fed her. I gave her half a capsule of Gut Guardian in the morning, sprinkled over her breakfast, and her stool that afternoon was 95% normal again! She’s had half a capsule the next day, again with her breakfast, and her tummy is now back to normal. I am astounded by the difference and so grateful! I am now back to feeding her normal raw diet (day one was just scrambled eggs for breakfast), with just half a capsule of Gut Guardian in the morning, and she’s just doing brilliantly! Absolutely blown away by how effective this supplement is and how quickly it worked - absolute magic!

My pet nutritionist has changed mine and my pup frankies life.Katie is absolutely amazing ! Alison has helped us so much with our dog. He’s come such a long way since we first started out. He had so much damage from feeding an inappropriate diet and over-medicating him that I honestly didn’t think we’d get to a point where we’d have a happy dog. With Alison’s guidance, we are at the point where I can honestly say he’s living his best life, health-wise. He’s so much happier in himself and is clearly not as unwell anymore.
Alison is so knowledgeable and is well-respected in her field. I only wish we’d found her sooner and not gone to people that had absolutely no clue. Alison doesn’t go with just what she sees, she takes a totally holistic approach and really gets into the nitty-gritty - looking at all aspects of the dog’s life - from sleep cycles, to food, to walks. It all has an impact on the way the dog presents itself and its health issues.
Alison has truly transformed the way we see our dog, and our dog’s life. If conventional medicine cannot pinpoint the issue, I’d recommend My Pet Nutritionist. My only qualm is how long you usually have to wait to get a response, when you are pressed for time yourself you don’t want to be chasing up others.

Its been a long journey but finally my frenchies allergies seem to have settled, his skin, fur, eyes and paws look so much better. Alison Daniel has been amazing, only an email away despite her busy work load and has always helpful and able to calm me down when stressed! The balanced and healthy meals created by Alison have helped greatly, I’ve enjoyed cooking them and my dog goes crazy for them. He was previously not eating his meals at all. Ive learnt so much about doing things naturally and me and my dog have both benefited from this greatly, thank you so much

My Boston Terrier Ernie has various issues, epilepsy, paroxysmal dyskinesia and allergies both food related and environmental.

Because he has so much going on, I didn't want him to have the Cytopoint injections the vet was recommending. I spent a fortune trying to understand the cause of his itching, from allergy testing, hair analysis tests to sending his poop off to the USA.

I really wish I'd found Alison earlier rather than faffing around and hoping that I was doing the right thing. Alison spent time assessing Ernie's issues and then provided step by step guidance. It hasn't been easy and with everything going on in his little body, improvement didn't happen overnight. BUT.... I'm so chuffed with where he is at the moment. His itching has reduced significantly, he used to be continually red with a horrible rusty coating on his tummy; both have disappeared. He's now eating a wider range of food with no adverse effects. As well as the allergies, Alison also helped with his epilepsy and PD by recommending various vitamins and tests, all of which has helped towards Ernie's improvement.

Throughout this journey, Alison has been really patient and responded to my questions or concerns quickly. I feel that without Alison's help, I would still be in the same position now as I was nine months ago. I can't recommend Alison highly enough.

Today, I'm walking on air! My 13 year old Schipperke has chronic liver disease, caused by years of phenobarbitol use for his epilepsy. His liver enzymes were continually rising. Then I found Alison, and she invented a new diet for him - which he ate greedily. This morning the results from his latest blood test arrived. There has been "an astonishing improvement", according to my vet. How wonderful is that? Thank you Alison!!!!!!!

Alison started helping me recently with Bertie who has suffered with seasonal allergies all his life. He is 7 and I have tried everything during his life to help his discomfort during the high pollen season. I discovered Alison through a friend of mine who had consulted with her and I must say its early days but Bertie is a lot calmer in general and his allergies are under control naturally . I do not like using strong prescribed medications like steroids as they harm dogs. Alison has explained it is better to get to the root cause which is generally through their stomach rather than hide it and suppress the symptoms.

Alison has been excellent helping us get to the bottom of Ralph the French Bulldog's many issues!
After the initial consultation she rang back as alarm bells were ringing that something may be wrong with his kidney function. After a vet visit and blood tests she was indeed correct and we are in the process of changing his diet from a hypoallergenic wet food to a fresh home cooked diet ( which he loves!!).
He had lost quite a bit of weight when we contacted Alison but is now starting put it back on and becoming his naughty self again.
Not sure where we would of been without Alison's help if honest, she is very knowledgeable and doesn't seem to mind when we message her with a daft question!!
Yes its a little more difficult cooking Ralph's lamb mince dinner than opening a can but what a difference it has made to him and worth every second.
We would both thoroughly recommend her if your pet needs help.

Alison has been absolutely amazing ! Ralph my 3 year old Cavalier King Charles spaniel is healing from a leaky gut, he has been itching since he was 1
during pollen season , he has had jelly poo , diarrhoea and throwing up yellow bile ...... we started by seeing the vet and decided I didn’t Ralph pumped with drugs and injections, we then tried the homeopathic vet for a year ... nothing was working and then a friend suggested Alison and I have never looked back ! all this has stopped ! We have very slightly itching at the moment but nothing like last year. She has amazing knowledge and advice and is very sympathetic and positive . Never fails to respond to my emails and always so quick to answer back. Alison thank you for everything you do for us and always being there when we need you !! You are an absolute godsend !

I can highly recommend Alison. She is so knowledgeable, unique and a pleasure to deal with. My boy has had environmental allergies since he was 5 months old. He is now 4. I have tried literally everything over the years. Change of food, shampoos and countless lotions and potions and allergy tests. Anyone with an itchy dog will know how distressing it can be, I didn't want to use harsh drugs so I found a holistic vet last year with no avail. This was when I thought I will have no choice but to use drugs which was so difficult to even imagine and get my head around.. then I found Alison!
