APPALLING CUSTOMER SERVICE
What a great idea. However no one responds when I emailed (several times) asking for help to fit the pippa. I could not get it to connect to my mobile appp. Eventually I managed to do that step but it would not ring me (I had paid for the ringing service). SO EVENTUALLY after a weeks of trying to get an answer, Ben called me. He was helpful. We realised that the phone signal in that part of my house is not strong enough.
The next day (20/2/26)they emailed me, offered me a full refund plus postage if I sent it back. Fair enough..so I posted it recorded delivery.
They refunded the cost of the pippa, but have NOT refunded the cost of my postage to send it back. And despite multiple emails asking them to honour their promise, I got absolutely no reponse. Hence I am furious and writing this review.

The email promising me refund including postage came on 20.2.26. Today is 15.3.26. I have been trying to get my postage refunded for weeks now. I have not had one acknowledgement or response to my emails sihnce 20.2.26.

As far as I am concerned it was a useless bit of kit, and most importantly, the customer service is almost non existent. My advice. Don't deal with this company because they have no morals and will not honour their promise, even if you try multiple times. If I could give them 0 stars I would.

When my mum started to forget she had something cooking on the hob I remembered seeing the Pippa on Dragons Den and thought I’d give it a go. Sam was absolutely amazing at helping me to set it up and adjust the sensitivity level to our needs. Now that it’s in place I know that next time she forgets she’s left something cooking on the hob I’ll get an alert so I can call her. I highly recommend this product for anyone who cares for someone who has issues with their memory and has concerns about their safety using a cooker. Having the Pippa in place helps my mum maintain her independence and dignity, and keeps her living in her own home which is important to her.

This is an essential safety device for your kitchen. I leave my hob on surprisingly frequently- not having the Pippa alert could have resulted in serious consequences more than once. Would highly recommend for all homes, but especially OAPs. Worthwhile investment for students living away from home too.

I have owned a Pippa for a few years now and it's worked perfectly. It alerted me a few times when I've forgotten to turn the hob off, and handy for warning when I've left the empty frying pan on for too long as well. Would recommend!

Our Pippa has been an excellent safety device in our kitchen, offering peace of mind when any of my family are cooking. The friendly voice calming reminding us to check the stove, preventing any risk. We highly recommend them to everyone.

I have had this monitor for three years through my insurance company and it has worked perfectly.
I've just paid a subscription fee and now this monitor isn't recognising anything. The app shows my 4 hobs at boiling point all the time even when they are turned off. The monitor isn't sending any info to my phone. I've email more than once for help but never any response, you cannot phone this company. Looks like I've lost my money😡😡😡

Full transparency: I got this device on a free trial, but no financial inducement to give this review. Installation was effortless and it has been securely stuck about my cooker hob for several months. It has alerted me a few times to an overheating pan, and also hobs left on without a pan on them, both by voice, text message and automated call to both my mobile phones (it doesn't give up until you answer). It is possibly very slightly over sensitive but this is obviously how you need it to be, rather than not sensitive enough. Overall it is very reliable and should be in everyone's kitchen as the alternative is too awful to even imagine. I would genuinely buy one if I didn't already have it. Get one! Now!

My husband has a habit of turning gas low then taking the pan off and walking
away. As a result I have almost burned my hand and set fire to a kitchen cloth

Thanks to Pippa those days are over.

We either hear her warning us or, if we go out, receive a warning message.

We love Pippa and can't understand why nobody "invested " her sooner.

Works very well. Useful reminder to turn of the stove and not let things boil dry. only problem is the very polite voice telling you that the pan has been left on when you are trying to dry fry spices etc. although this can be stopped by putting your hand under the device as instructed.

This is an amazing piece of kit. It monitors all four gas rings on my hob. It knows if I've left a gas ring on. It monitors the temperature of each pan. It knows if a pan is going to boil dry. When any of these things happen it informs me, either with a voice message if I'm close to the cooker and by SMS and phone call to my mobile. It has already saved me from two potential fires. It will also time each individual dish as it is cooking. If you suffer from the occasional senior moment or just want peace of mind, this widget is for you. It's pure magic.

Pippa has proved to be a excellent asset to our kitchen. We are in our 70s and do a lot of cooking, in the past we have sometimes left a ring on our gas cooker on overnight it makes the kitchen warmer than expected when you go to make the train the morning!
Pippa has solved this problem and alerted us to an overheating pan on several occasions. You cancel the message by simply holdingng your hand under the sensor.
I think this would be wonderful present for children to give to elderly parents, not only useful but would contribute to their safety Martin

Very pleased with my Pippa. The unit has warned me a number of times (audible warning, by text and also my phone call) that pans on my gas hob were over heating / too hot. The App also helps me monitor the temperature of pans on the hob when cooking which is great for actual oil and water temperature monitoring.

Used by my elderly parents (both over 90 but still living independently). They were surprised how often they left a gas hob ring on once they started using Pippa. I get the texts warning me as well, which is very reassuring.

Really clever and useful device - warns me when I’ve left a gas ring on or if pan getting too hot - then pings the family a text too just in case!

A very useful piece of equipment that was easy to install and blends in with the surroundings. When it sounds it is quite easy to turn off. I am most impressed with it.

The Pippa unit is very efficient and considering I occasionally leave the hob rings on this gives me a reminder .

What a fabulous piece of kit. Simple to instal using the double sided tabs, very easy to set, just select your hob or stove layout, i.e. 4,5,6 burner and that’s it. Twice we’ve left the hob on low by accident and both times we’ve had an audio warning from the device which were followed up by text messages to both mine and my wife’s phone. It will also warn when a griddle is hot enough to start cooking. Easy battery change by sliding the whole unit to the right to remove from the backplate to get access to the two batteries.
If you access the app while using the stove you can see the exact temperature of each hob. All in all a great little safety device that does exactly what it claims to do.

Pippa stove monitor is an excellent idea!
It has warned us a couple of times that we have left a gas ring on very low and is sensitive enough to pick that up.
When we are cooking with pans on the hob there is not a problem and stays silent. if a pan is removed for a few minutes then the warning sounds. It also comes up on the link to my smartphone.

Great idea and it really works. I have an electric ceramic hob and sometimes have a habit of leaving it on especially if turned down low. It doesn’t glow red and can be forgotten. Pippa warns me within a very short space of time and it’s not left on then. Excellent idea and very easy to use
