TEDxKI 2025

We recently used Myselfie for our event, and I can’t recommend them highly enough! From start to finish, the experience was not seamless (wished the QR guide had more details about connecting the camera to the Printer), but the team was supportive and we had so much fun with the camera. The setup was stylish and professional. Our guests absolutely loved the variety of props and backgrounds, and the quality of the photos was outstanding—crisp, vibrant, and perfect for sharing.

The instant prints were a huge hit, and everyone left with wonderful memories to take home. Thank you for adding such a special touch to our celebration! We’ll definitely be booking again for future events.

Refusal of refund

They sent me a photo booth with a broken power cable. I unboxed it during my wedding, only to find out it didn’t work. I reached out to them for a refund, citing their terms and conditions, which clearly state that customers have the right to cancel the purchase within 14 days. However, they refused my request, claiming I should have tested the booth beforehand. When I called them, they told me it was my fault for assuming the booth would work and that it's always a gamble with their devices.

I’m sure the photo booth would have been a fantastic addition to the wedding if it had worked, but this terrible customer service, their blatant disregard for their own terms, and their willingness to ignore Swedish consumer law left me with a very negative impression. I hope others will look into competitors instead of choosing Myselfie, as you simply can’t rely on their products.

Only after involving my credit card company did they agree to issue a refund.

They also said that they could have fixed the broken power cable (which is mounted in) remotely which is very cute :D

Thank you for your comments, even though we must make some points clear here.

First, it’s correct that we offer 14 days right of cancellation from the date the order has been placed. This is in line with the Swedish Consumer Law, and this is also stated clearly in section 7.1. in our terms and conditions. Your booking was placed in February, and your event was in September, so the 14 days right of cancellation, in accordance with the law, was overdue.

Second, you booked a Myselfie to a Saturday, and you received the package already on Wednesday. For us, quality and service go hand-in-hand, and we always want our customers to receive their order in good time before their event. This is due to the fact, that even though we always test and assure the devices are working fine when they leave our warehouse, we want to assure that’s the fact also after the freight. We have sent more than 45.000 deliveries over the past years, and even though everything works as it should in 99.99% of the times, we do not want to gamble with the very last 0.01 %. Because we do care.

Third, your device was only installed and opened at 22.12 on the night of the party, and therefore we had no chance of helping you fixing the problem via our weekend support (that is closed at those late hours). Should you have tried it earlier on the day, we could have fixed the problem remotely.

At last, we issued the refund only minutes after the call with you following the weekend. We did not hear anything regarding the credit card company, and we do not respond to any threats like that. We issued the refund for the situation for one reason only – because we care.

We are working day and night to become the best version of ourselves and to live by our words of spreading joy and memories with our Myselfie, but we feel truly sorry for a comment like this, misusing the power of consumers by such statements that are not true.

We would love to take up the dialogue again, but for the first time in all our years, we are also willing to let this go as it stands here.
