I'm really disappointed with my order from mystart health. Ordered medication on January 6th. I've been getting a runaround ever since. No one is ever available to answer calls. I placed a messa... See more

UPDATE 2/12: MyStart issued a refund and followed up with a call to ensure I was happy with the outcome. Bravo!
INITIAL review 1/22: I was very excited to move over to MyStart Health from a different provider. However, I have been waiting 3 days and there has been zero movement with my order. If there is no progress tomorrow, I will be late for my weekly injection. At this point there is no sign of the order even being fulfilled, yet they seem to have no problem taking my $447. If there is no movement tomorrow, I will be disputing it with my credit card company. This is too much money to spend for such poor service and no product!

I’ve been with My Start Health for 12 weeks. The first order sent to me was only for 1 month, even though I had paid for 3 months. So I called and was referred to the pharmacy. The gals at the pharmacy took me seriously, checked to find their error, and sent the remaining amount right away.
I’m now starting my second 3-month vial but hope to increase the dose, as I’ve plateaued, so Tyrese referred me to the clinical phone number, which I will call tomorrow for advice. He also helped me pause a proposed new vial to be sent out this week, way before it was needed, so he put it on a 2-month hold.
I appreciate Tyrese calling me to make sure all was OK.
After reading several negative reviews on this site, I’m a bit nervous about this company but have my fingers crossed, hoping they will continue to provide excellent customer service.

Great company ! The product is compounded but still very effective. The price is reasonable for a 3 month subscription and they ship the product to you. If you have any issues customer service is very helpful. Tyrese in customer service is very friendly and helpful!

I placed my order on January 5th and was approved by the Physician the same day. It was sent to pharmacy and said that it would take 7 days to fill. It is now January 20th and they still have not sent out my order. I have called and emailed numerous times and they keep telling me the pharmacy is back logged because of the holidays. Today was told that they are in the middle of switching pharmacies. Not thinking I will get my order. Take my advice, do not order from this company!!

Just wanted to say that my start health is really a great company if you encounter any issues their customer service will always reach out. This was the case when Cecile called me and I was on the fence about stopping after several months and she gave me a tremendous incentive discount to stay Cecile was wonderful and she checked every box in terms of my concerns even having the physician call me to explain a few things and they feel like one big family and go above and beyond to meet your needs! Thanks Cecile and Always Emperess and Kent and Dr. Caldiera!
Kindly Heidi

Ordered around the holidays and I understand that there could be some delays due to all the new year’s resolutions to lose weight. My problem is with the communcation about the delays, and the over-promising of “it’ll be sent by the end of the week” messages. At the minimum, I would appreciate a realistic timeframe as an answer so I could appropriately manage my expectations. While (so far) the price point seems incredible compared to other services, it doesn’t make a difference if the service doesn’t deliver. They already have my money, and I’ve missed every other “holiday deal” for other services, so I’m kinda stuck with MyStart, but so far this experience is dissapointing, disheartening, and this experience feels more like an impedence to my goals, rather than the asset it should be.
Update 1/21/26: Squeaky wheels DO get greased, on occasion. After writing the review above, Empress, a supervisor, reached out to me on the telephone. She provided me with a tracking number and offered a refund of 20% as a way to take accountibility for the communication and the fulfillment issues. Less than 24 hours later, my order was delivered by FedEx in cold packs. Regarding this issue, I’m pleased with the outcome. Being overwhelmed with business is incredibly challenging for any company; moving forward, I’m hopeful this will be taken into consideration for order fulfillment and communication. Thank you, Empress.

My husband and I both ordered meds. We signed up on January 4th. He talked to a doctor the same day and was approved. Due to work it was hit and miss for me but I spoke with a doctor on the 5th and was approved. We checked every couple days and when no action was taken by the pharmacy I contacted the company and was told due to the holiday they were behind. I was also told that the medication would be out to us on Monday (1/12). Still nothing by Tuesday so I reached out again and was told on Thursday (1/15) that meds would be out by end of week. Here we are on the 19th and still nothing processed. I called a different number and the young man looked and said this was not right and reached out to the pharmacy. He said he would call me back as soon as he heard back from them. I feel as if I have been hoodwinked. I am ready to ask for a refund. Not satisfied at this time.

Excellent customer service. Spoke with Tyrese who resolved my issues with the medication and also with issues with the portal. Highly recommended.

I spoke with a customer service representative for an initial interest call. He was pleasant and charismatic, which was very promising. I was on a GLP-1 in 2025 for 3 months with fantastic results and was transparent with the representative about my desire to use the medication short term (no more than 6 months) to aid with my plateau. I mentioned that it was important for me to start on the right dose and indicated that I could prove my prior dosage amount and/or have my primary care doctor confirm the need for an initial higher dose, as I am regularly monitored and have been working on staying out of “pre-diabetic” range for the last two years. The representative assured me that with my previous prescription, I would be able to continue on the 10mg without issue. Alright. You’ve got me.
I took all of the initial assessments and shared the information about my previous GLP-1 prescription and experience on the assessment forms. Great. The forms appeared comprehensive, but easy to complete. Everything was looking good so far.
Fast forward to being required to pay for a 3 month supply BEFORE I find out which GLP-1 options I am even eligible for (thankfully I was eligible for compounded Tirz, which was the goal), I see that my order was only approved for lowest dose (2mg) and was “sent to the pharmacy”.
I did reach out to Clinical Support immediately after receiving the alert that the provider had approved an order so that I could share my previous prescription information and proof and hopefully get things adjusted quickly, but the provider team indicated that they only start orders out from the minimal dosage and titrate up slowly to ensure minimal side effects. Oof. Frustratingly different from my initial interest call. Had I known this, I would not have gone with MyStart. However, the “start at the bottom and you’ll get there eventually” strategy is deceptively genius from a business standpoint.
Without being familiar with what results one can expect from dosage differences, this almost guarantees that subscribers (myself, anyway) commit to at least 6 months before seeing significant results. By the time they get to their goal, they’ve potentially spent way more time and money on the medication than necessary.
To their credit, the provider approval WAS a quick turnaround after the initial order on 1/9, but my order is still showing as “sent to pharmacy” on 1/17. Like many other recent reviews have indicated, the turnaround time from placing your order to receiving it doesn’t line up with what is advised - Potentially from an influx of holiday/new year, new me orders having production and shipping time backed up?
I do hope to eventually receive my order, but I encourage MyStart to offer better transparency from the beginning. It seems like the customer service team is not entirely familiar with provider procedure and policy, if I am to assume that the incorrect information given to me during my interest call wasn’t intentional. So far, what has been explained or advertised hasn’t exactly lined up, and I’d expect more communication regarding delays to be forthcoming rather than feeling left in the dark.
Fingers crossed for the follow up review.
UPDATE 2/6:
Updating with a rating change! Why?
Soon after my review, top management reached out to discuss my issue. He listened, shared that he was going to follow up on my concerns, and told me when he would circle back around with me. I was pleasantly surprised at the follow through. He clarified the policies of the practice I’d been paired with and how they assign dosages. The rep from the initial interest call didn’t give me the correct information - they start you from the bottom unless you’ve VERY recently been on a specific dose and need that refilled. Hopefully some retraining can occur to avoid similar mistakes in the future.
But two things did happen after I was given the correct info: I was provided a more realistic titration plan that requires me to call back before my three months are up and my order was overnighted, it seemed.
The medicine itself: standard compounded solution that was shipped in three vials. The package was cold and included a thermometer for recipients to confirm that their supply was kept over the minimum temp during transit. Loved that! It included enough syringes, but no alcohol pads for sterilization, which I would definitely recommend.
Based on the company’s quick and efficient problem solving, I’m much more hopeful that they will continue to have their actions align with their words.
Another update coming once I get to my next call in!

Trying to get a prescription refilled. Since I was unable to access the patient portal so I. Call back and did the paperwork on the phone.. I’m waiting to hear back for my prescription. My next shot should be on Monday.

Updating my review from 1 star to 3 stars. I ordered on Jan 7th and didn't receive my product until Jan 29th. Not sure if it was just because I left a bad review or because MyStart got stuck with a bad Rx provider in Michigan and had to switch? We will see what happens on my next order. If it happens again, back to 1 star. If it truly was an error with the Rx provider and the 2nd order ships on time, I will revise to 5 stars after the 2nd order is received in May 2026. Will update then.

I really regret trusting MyStart with my order. At this point, I don’t feel like I can rely on them at all. Every time I reach out to customer service, they give me the exact same scripted information, and they keep promising my order will ship “soon.” Yet every time the promised date arrives, they push it out again with no real explanation.
What’s even more frustrating is that I have to follow up with them every single day just to get an update. It should be the company keeping me informed—not the other way around. This whole experience has been exhausting and disappointing.
I genuinely hope things still work out, but the lack of transparency and the constant delays have made me seriously question whether MyStart is trustworthy.

I am editing the review below (which was 2-stars) because I did receive a call from a MyStart supervisor who promised to expedite my order and also gave me a 20% refund. The was on a Monday, and my order arrived from Florida on Wednesday.
I am now a satisfied customer. The package is very professional and everything is in good order. They do need to improve on the scripted phone callls with no follow up, but I believe they were backed up on orders from the holidays + increased demand.
I signed up MyStart Health on 1/04 and sent them almost $678.00 They promised to ship Tirzepetide to me within a few working days. Timing was important to me because I only had two doses left (from a different company) and did not want to miss out on any injections. The order supposedly went to their pharmacy on 1/4, but still has not shipped after 8 days. I am nowout of medication.
I've spoken with three different reps from the company via email, and each promised to get right back to me with a report after they "consult with their team." None of them have done so. AND their help line does not even work. It either makes a weird noise or hangs up on me before I can speak.
I am scared that I just spent $700 on a scam company.

Paid for 3 months. Confirmed they are only shipping me 1 month. Dose is less than half the dose I am currently on.
Order has not been fulfilled at the pharmacy and I was told by Mia at customer service that they may not be able to cancel and refund my credit card because they mark it in the system as complete completed (when it’s not).
Stay away from this company. Go to your regular doctor.

I was so excited to work with this company as they have options I could afford. I was told that my order would be shipped out in 2 days, and it has been a week. I tried calling the company to check the status and it's been crickets. My fear is that they are like the other weight-loss companies that promise fast service but fall short. A week later, I have yet to receive shipping information.
UPDATE, Jan. 17: within two days of posting my review, I received a phone call from the company apologizing, and was compensated for the delay and was provided a tracking number. 2 days later, I received my order. I would have gladly provided 5 stars if I had received the expedited service that was promised.

Customer support has been very helpful. The associate said she would call me back after checking on my question. I received a call five minutes later with all my questions answered.
