We have been using this watch for 6 months now, and we've had a very good experience, especially when I compare it with the Xplora 6 we were using. This is a much better watch. Sometimes it shows ce... See more

I purchased the 2nd edition TickTalk watch for my 4 year old son 3 years ago and I am so glad I did. The watch was well made and durable. The customer service was amazing. The features were exactly what I was looking for in a watch and gave me a piece of mind when we were out in busy, well populated areas or when I couldn't be with him such as when he was visiting a friend. I'm looking forward to purchasing the TickTalk 5 for my now 7 year old.

Tried to upgrade from the tick talk 4 to the tick talk 5. They did not provide clear instructions. The only way to activate the new watch is through their app. Their app not working to pair. Contacted Tick Talk multiple times, via email & their 'instant reply' chat. Tick talk tech support unresponsive. We have not been able to use either the 4 or the 5 watch. They continue to be unresponsive. They say they didn't reply due to it being a weekend. Not true. They replied with 'Please give me a moment to review the issue.' Then they NEVER came back on.

The TickTalk allowed our elementary-aged child freedom to roam the neighborhood with friends and gave us peace of mind. His watch was so popular in the neighborhood that all the other parents asked about it and many bought their own. We are frequently base abroad for work and the watch works without problem (once we pop in a local SIM card). Definitely recommend!

TickTalk 4:
• Durability: It features a robust build with a plastic polymer body and hardened glass display, making it highly impact-resistant. It is also water-resistant up to 1 meter (IP67 rating) .
• Safety: The watch includes a dedicated SOS button, providing peace of mind for parents by allowing kids to trigger an emergency alarm that sends their GPS location and calls parent-approved contacts .
• Tracking and Communication: It offers reliable GPS, Wi-Fi, and cellular network location tracking. The companion app allows parents to monitor their child’s location and communication history. The watch supports voice calls, video calls, and text messaging, restricted to approved contacts .
• Battery Life: The battery life is approximately 16 hours, which can be extended by managing usage settings .

Nothing particular to comment. Nothing extraordinarily noteworthy nor any complaints.

I really love this watch when it works correctly. It isa lil more expensive and not as durable as I would like it to be but over all I think is pretty great!

They were taken across state lines and were brought back to safety . Thank you Tix Talk

TT4 is better than the TT5. The 5 is flimsy. TT4 is def built better. The 5 gps is also awful. Keeps saying my child is in China when we live in the US.

Don’t love the TT5. It seems weak compared to the TT4. The wristband strap only has one hole to secure the watch in place vs the TT4 which has two. The plastic watch over all feels cheap like I could snap it with just my fingers. The gps doesn’t work and always has my kid in China. We’ve even called the company we have the plan through and they reset everything but still comes up he’s in China. There’s also a lot of characters on the screen and make the watch seem more geared toward a younger child, not a ten year old like my son. Definitely would not purchase another one of these.

We have been a Ticktalk family for more than 4 years! We've had the Ticktalk3, Ticktalk4, and now the Ticktalk5.
For a family with two working parents and kids in multiple sports and activities, Ticktalk has been essential in providing a means for us to contact each other and for the parents to know where the children are located. Each iteration of the watch has gotten better with battery life, connectivity, and location services. The kids love taking photos and listening to iHeartRadio. They use their Ticktalks to communicate with each other more than they do with us.
As with most technological devices and kids, there have been hiccups over the years. We have contacted the company both via phone and email; they have always been outstanding in their response time and professionalism. They are a local, American company and any issues are resolved quickly.

Perfect gift for this back to school season. Fast shipping, building quality is good enough for kids. Setup is easy to do, my kid loves it!

My son has been using the watch for little over a year now. It's provided him the "freedom" to ride his bike around, and giving me a peace of mind. The watch works great for the most part. I do wish that gps was off the cellular service rather than public wifi (doesn't always give accurate location, which has given me a scare while he was at a sleepover.)

I bought the TickTalk 5 for my 8-year-old, and it's been amazing. The GPS tracking gives me peace of mind, knowing I can see his real-time location. And the battery life is impressive than other brands. Highly recommend for any parent!
