Good Service / Product

I ordered a day bed and the delivery was quick, but only one out of the three boxes was delivered. I contacted Mytopia and they responded straight away and the next business day the other two boxes arrived. I was impressed with their quick response to my enquiry and follow up. It's hard to find any customer service these days. I've assembled the product and am most impressed with it. So very happy all round.

Delivery was pretty quick for a larger item. Chair was very easy to assemble and easy to move around the house. Cushions are really soft and the chair reclines so you can lay down flat. Good product and great delivery service

We bought two Valk e-bikes

We bought two Valk e-bikes, and at the time they were a reasonable price and looked the part. It wasn't long till the MX7 one wouldn't operate using the accelerator or the PAS system. A call to customer service was interesting, they hardly knew anything, and wanted a video to show the e-bike not moving. Despite an email to their customer service we got no reply. I contacted two reputable bike shops who sell e-bikes in an attempt to get the MX7 looked at and neither would touch them, and what they said is not able to be repeated here. Long story short you get what you pay for and this bike looks great until it stops working, now it is basically land fill. Be cautious when buying this brand of bike...We have learnt our lesson, all be it an expensive one. Oh and once we left a review like the above they were interested in us, not because of the bike but they only wanted to find out why no one replied. Good luck and hopefully fingers cross your Valk works as it should....

Difficult company to deal with.

Difficult company to deal with.
Purchased an exercise bike with a faulty stuck adjuster. Began the refund process, Mytopia were very difficult and attempted to constantly delay and avoid a refund.

In the end Mytopia attempted to dispute the refund with EBay but thankfully EBay agreed with me and issued the refund. Beware, they want a quick buck rather than happy customers.

ENDED UP AT FAIR TRADING: very very poor customer service and defective products - stay far away!

I purchased two solar bird baths from Mytopia a few months ago. One is working fine, the other has completely cracked (due to no fault of my own) and has stopped working.

After reaching out to Mytopia to arrange for a repair, exchange or refund, I've had no attempt to seek to help me. They've provided several deeply unsatisfactory responses claiming that it is not 'a warrantable request' and that they simply can't help, which is truly shocking. A product that is clearly defective and has broken down after a few months should never have been supplied in the first place. At the very least, Myopia should offer a store credit, a partial replacement or even a refund for this poor quality product. They haven't indicated their willingness to do any of this.

I've tried to reach an amicable resolution, but they are simply not interested in a mutually acceptable and reasonable resolution to satisfy their customer.

UPDATE: there is still no offer to replace the defective and cracked unit on Mytopia’s end. They’ve suggested they can offer discount for me to purchase an entirely new model and think this somehow resolves the fact that I have a faulty product I paid for that won’t work and that it's okay to spend more money to get a functional unit. No reasonable person would accept this.

I've submitted a request to Fair Trading today. Simply appalling that it's reached this point.

Based on my experience, I'd stay far away from Mytopia and their products - they're not interested in customer service at all. Do yourself a favour and go to a more reputable retailer who actually provides good customer service.

Purchased an e scooter from mytopia as a Christmas gift

Purchased an e scooter from mytopia, it arrived in a damaged condition even the metal frame that was suppose to protect it was bent.
Contacted customer service via website and had many written conversations with Victoria who was polite but didn't actually solve my issue of a faulty scooter, it was cosmetically damage and seems to have electrical fault(s), after several days back and forth via website the scooter is not fit for the purpose we bought it, I explained this to Victoria and also the fact it's a Christmas present and time is running out to replace it, Victoria latest advice to us is she will get a tech to contact us in 1 to 2 business days.
If you were in my position would you be happy with this level of service.

My nightmare started on 21 November 2022.

In reply to Mitch (Resolution team) asking if I will reconsider my review, I will when I get a resolution, I'm still waiting waiting waiting......

Update...Eli from the team has just told me that I can have a full refund ,reason "Faulty goods" so I eagerly await the funds to be returned, overall a good outcome from Mytopia team thanks, I will probably shop with them again.
Last word....you need to review your logistics someone or something is letting you down badly.

FORTIA Cloud 9 MKII Electric Massage Chair Full Body Zero Gravity with Heat and Bluetooth Dark Crimson

Decent Item and Experience for me

Disclaimer: I have not tried any other massage chairs for quite a while. Payed 1.5k for it + delivery.
I wrote this review a week ago on mytopia.com.au and it still isn't displayed on their webpage.

Pros:
- Really nice leg and foot massage
- Fairly good massage in its other places

Cons and constructive criticism:
- After about 2 hours of total use the back roller started creaking on every move, but the creaking also went away after a while.
- The leg rest doesn't extend so easily; the spring loading is too strong, so if you're taller you'd keep it extended by pushing and then can't fully relax your legs, unless you were to replace it with a weaker spring. (You won't encounter this issue if you're < 5'5")
- The shoulder massage is nearly useless in my opinion, it just flatly pushes on your shoulders from the side kinda caving you in, but you can turn each area off.
- Can't do much on the neck, but understandable if that spot is not what the chair is for.
- A thin layer of cushioning on the back roller would make it less pointed and nicer imo (but maybe it's better the way it is for people with a really hard back)
- Aesthetically the metal looking plastic panels on the outside look cheaply put together (with big gaps seen between the top of the panels and the chair when your close to it).
- Delivery took a day or 2 more than estimated

Truly disgusting organisation

I purchased a walking aid for my 81 year old mother in residential aged care. When it was delivered it was unusable. The wheels were so stiff and unwieldily Mum could not steer or push the product. I returned the product the next day and requested a full refund. First a partial credit was offered. When I requested they comply with Australian Consumer Law a store credit was offered. Australian Consumer Law clearly states that a product must be fit for advertised purpose. When I requested a full refund in compliance with the law, the response I got was, "You can’t just claim an item is not fit for purpose because an elderly person with dementia was not able to manage it." I have escalated the complaint to NSW Fair Trading. I urge you to give your business to an organisation that honours the law and its customers. Mytopia, Edisons, Mills Brands most certainly do not.

Update; after posting reviews to Trustpilot and Google I was contacted by the customer experience manager and offered a conditional refund if I removed my Trustpilot review. I made clear Trustpilot’s policy on blackmail and in the end a full refund was provided via PayPal.

Do not back down with Mills Brands; Edison’s or Mytopia. Purchase via PayPal to ensure your protection. Contact the ACCC and relevant government authorities and publish your experiences to protect others.

The Valk Volt folding bike I purchased is absolutely fab.
The bike arrived in two days, wrapped up like a new baby.

I was asked to verify my credit card after full payment was made

I ordered and paid in full an item using my American Express credit card, the funds were taken from my card by Mytopia so it was all cleared, then i received this mail asking me to verify my card which i found to be strange, i contacted American Express who advised me that once an online order was paid for the merchant was bound to ship the item purchased and that they had never hard of verification of a fully paid order before and suggested that i cancel the order and ask for a refund which i have done.

The claimed refund that Mytopia are supposed to make could take many business days to appear in the account, as for the billing and shipping address these were already supplied on the order and Mytopia most certainly has them already??

in conclusion why should i have to verify my card after Mytopia were paid in Full, then have to wait to obtain details of some refund therefore delaying my order
