AVOID SCAMMERS

Booked another night in hotel we were staying in Vietnam, through mytour. Hotel had no record of it and were now full! Even next morning had no email from Mytour. Could not speak to them on phone. Emails saying couldn't talk as had inbound phone. Hotel tried helping.
Took money immediately and took 6 days to get money back , into account. They put in VND Waze does not accept this currency. Still fighting.
At no point do they admit sold room, took money for room that was not available. Never using again AVOID SCAMMERS !!!@##£@
Using booking .com for travelling round rest of Vietnam. Easy ,simple , booked pay at hotel mostly after stay , sometimes before. Honest.

Unprofessional, cash-grabbing, scammy.

Zero star if I could.

Booked a room at 2.600.000 vnd on their website, paid immediately by credit card. Not even 30 minutes later, they called and said the hotel actually ran out of that tier room and offered a higher tier at 4.000.000 vnd. Again, I paid an extra 1.400.000 vnd and got 2 email confirmations of successful booking (with a check-in code and all). Think I got the room all booked? Think again. The next day, another sales person called and said I needed to pay 600.000 vnd more to secure the room, and after I fought back they lowered it to 500.000 vnd. I said I'm not going to pay them another dime, asked for a refund and just booked directly with the hotel for practically the same price. In short, they:
- Were misleading about pricing, twice
- Listed rooms that were not available
- Listed prices that are much lower than the actual prices
- Held my money for days without actually securing any booking with the hotel
- Literally operate like a scam site. The only way I could get hold of them is through Zalo, I had to nudge them for a cancellation email (and when they did send it, they didn't even state the amount to be refunded--super unprofessional and sketchy). So I can't imagine how much of a headache this would be for foreigners.

They're just very unprofessional, misleading, and cash hungry overall. They'd list very low prices to prompt you to pay immediately, then keep calling you back asking for more money for whatever reasons, all while not actually booking ANYTHING for you yet. In fact, by the second time they called and ask for more money, when I demanded a refund, they even had the nerve to say they're "not sure if that would be possible", that they'd need to talk to the hotel about that.

I felt coerced to pay them more money, by the way they were communicating. And if you're booking during high-traffic season, all the rooms might actually be gone by the time you're done dealing with them, or you'll just end up paying a ton more than what they first promise you the deal is.

We'll see if the refund comes through at all. I have zero trust left for this so-called business.

Don't book with these scammers

I would give this company zero stars if I could. I made three hotel bookings with them after they came up on a Google search, and they had the cheapest prices. Only when I arrived at the hotel did I find out they charged additional resort fees.
Booking # H4436964, $203.84 resort fee charged at the hotel
Booking # H4457197, $203.84 resort fee charged at the hotel
Booking # H4348048, $254.80 resort fee charged at the hotel

I emailed the company and provided a screen recording of myself making the booking — nowhere did it show that there would be a resort fee charged at the hotel. I made the reservation in the USA, where a new "junk fee" rule was recently put in place by the FTC (Federal Trade Commission). All fees must be disclosed at the time of booking, before entering your credit card details.
I went back and forth with them, but they denied any wrongdoing and claimed the fees were disclosed. After providing them with evidence multiple times, including the FTC complaint I filed, they said they would issue me a refund, which would take 45 days.
When I followed up on the complaint, they suddenly denied any wrongdoing again and refused to issue the refund.
I’ve since filed complaints with multiple government agencies, including the Attorney General of my state, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), the Better Business Bureau (BBB), the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), and the Vietnam National Tourism Administration.
Because Mytour.vn refused to take any responsibility, I went ahead and filed a small claims court case against the hotel I stayed at, which charged me these undisclosed fees. The case is still ongoing.
I’m also planning to reach out to local news outlets to make the public aware of Mytour.vn’s misleading advertising scheme and how they are damaging the consumer and businesses.

It's a scam

It's a scam. I booked a hotel through the google hotel link, but they will never confirm the hotel booking. After waiting for a few days, I contacted them, and after a few days, they replied to me and asked me to pay higher price. Then, I proceed to ask them to refund the hotel, but I haven't receive the refund after 5 business days. It's a frustrating process. And I contacted them again regarding the refund, they replied me that the refund can take up to 45 working days....I am going to dispute the charge now. If you still want to book with them and get a low price, good luck.

If you have extra money and time

If you have extra money and time - feel free to contact this company! I booked a hotel room through this service, paid 1,632,149 VND, but could not check in. As they wrote - the room selected on their resource is occupied and I need to either pay extra for another one or return the money. I am not used to such an indifferent service, but I agreed to return the money. and then it started!!! They transferred the money to my account, but I was not able to get it back (I was leaving and could not confirm the return at the bank). The bank sent them the money back, confirming their actions with a statement. But the service has been telling me for over a week that they have not received the money. This is not true. I still have not received a refund from them, and they are dragging out time. This looks very much like a scam. I ask everyone to avoid this resource so as not to get into the same situation.

They’re not a scam, but unprofessional

They’re not a scam, as often mentioned, but very badly organized. I booked a five star hotel for two nights. No confirmation of the booking after the payment. The reception called them. First they said, I had to pay for an upgrade, because the booked room wasn’t available. But it was. Then they said, the price would be only for Vietnamese guests and that I had to pass on the food and drinks voucher. However, after hours (!) of communication over phone, app and email, they finally confirmed the booking. Without the voucher. All in all a nuisance and disappointment. Customer service has been friendly, but unprofessional. I advise you not to book with them.

The service of the website could be improved, as it looks like a scam.

The website is a scam. I wanted to book a room in a resort in Mui Ne. The website charges you the fees of the room, but the booking is likely not being confirmed. It happened to my booking and the booking of my friend. We are still waiting for the refund.

Edit: After asking for a refund from the email they have sent, they processed the refund within 24h, which is quick.
