Judy is a really great tutor and helped me build my confidence massively during our lessons. She gives really helpful feedback and is always ready to give up her time to help us improve. The lessons are also structured really well as everyone has time to speak and get their individual points for improvement :)

I had a mock interview with Maurisha and she gave me very thorough feedback and strong specific guidance for my kings interview. I feel a lot better prepared now so thank you 🙂

Mock interviews with Mariella were great and closely similar to the real thing. She was so helpful and I really couldn’t recommend myucat and Mariella more!

Amna for my mentor sessions was super helpful . She would give us accurate feedback on our interview answers and would provide us with pointers and information on what to include in interview answers .She was always proactive to go out of her way to answer any questions we had!

Everything has been so useful and the preparation given has been so in depth. In particular my tutor Amna has been amazing, she’s been very supportive and gone out of her way to ensure all of my questions are answered and that I feel as ready as possible! The group sessions cover both oxbridge and MMI content, and you get two additional 1-1s. Malaika was really good at explaining things to me and challenging my thought process, which was super beneficial in my interview. She is really proactive and always listens to feedback which is quite nice, so all the sessions are tailored to you.

Can’t even begin to explain how good the programme is, the constant 24/7 support and the different ways of interview preparation from large group sessions to small group mentoring, in person mock MMIs as well as 1 to 1s, this programme has been great at helping me to target my weak spots at MMIs and become confident in interviews. Can’t recommend enough!

Also tons of support given for A-Level preparation too, including webinars and lessons for Biology, Chemistry and Maths as well as opportunities to practice interview answers with other students daily.

I received a full scholarship for the MyUCAT interview programme, and I can honestly say it was the best thing that happened to me regarding my application. The course began with a very easy to understand and informative introduction to interviews, and following that, weekly sessions were held for a vast range of different topics, all helping towards our interviews. Weekly A-level sessions on biology, chemistry, and even maths allowed us to get ahead so that we could spend more time focusing on interviews, and there were many extension opportunities to help those applying to Oxford and Cambridge. The interview sessions multiple times a week were extremely helpful, with opportunities for us to engage in answering questions, covering everything you would need to know for interviews. There were also Oxbridge interview sessions multiple times a week, which similarly allowed us to practice communicating abstract concepts, which proved to be invaluable for the interviews. Opportunities to practice questions between students were also given daily, making interview preparation fun and fulfilling.
I was also assigned a small group tutor, Grace, who held ten sessions with us, the majority being before Oxford interviews. She covered a broad range of topics in these sessions (a few of which appeared in my actual interviews!), teaching us information that would have been difficult to find elsewhere, and encouraged us to answer Oxbridge-style questions, providing us with personalised feedback on all our answers, which helped me to see a great increase in my knowledge and how I communicated it. I looked forward to every session, as Grace was so lovely, and made me feel very motivated to do well.
I was also provided with two free Oxford mock interviews with Christyn, which simulated the environment of a real Oxford interview, allowing me to feel much more comfortable in the real thing. Following these interviews, I was given personalised feedback on what I could do to improve my answers, which proved to be a great help.
I have since finished all of my interviews, and received an offer to study medicine at Oxford yesterday! Without the support of MyUCAT, this would have been so much harder, and I have immense gratitude towards everyone who helped me along the way.

My daughter did a 1-2-1 session with Rosie for her personal statement and hugely benefited from it. It was quite choppy before but had a big revamp with her motivations and super curriculars clear and polished. Would highly recommend!

Really impressed with their personal statement review and editing service. Angel (MyUCAT tutor) really helped reword my sentences to better reflect what I meant. In an hour she was able to comprehensively enhance it. Would 100% recommend!

I was have having difficulty cutting down my ps and choosing what to include/ cut out however Alisha helped me shorten it down and told me what to change!!

Hena from the My UCAT team really helped me start off my interview prep. She made the lesson engaging and provided me a great approach to tackle medical school interviews without feeling stressed. Overall, I would really recommend these tutoring sessions for interview.

My personal statement 1-1 session with Shaun was very helpful to make my personal statement flow and highlight my improvements! Shaun was clear and gave me some useful advice after our interview preparation! As an international student there is sometimes little guidance available on the internet but I was guided well even on this aspect:)

Would 100% recommend and I’ll be taking more sessions as interviews get closer!
