I applied for a role and was invited to schedule an interview. Minutes later, I got a rejection email. No response for days after I followed up. Eventually blamed on a “system error.” Completely unprofessional and disorganised. If this is how they treat people during hiring, I wouldn’t trust them with anything.

Most of student discounts are fake or no real.
Tried to apply at PureGym membership but the 30% had been not applied.
Spoke with PureGym customer support and they confirmed no discounts.
Such a shame to see how students been cheated all the times and parents paid.

support is extremely slow, still waiting, no phone number or anything to call

Nothing but trouble they take your money and you don’t the server you have paid for.
Customer service is no help as they can’t open any evidence you send. What a joke.

Offers are usually not very good. 10% discount only on full price merch, which is cheaper in house anyway most of the time. You do get a good deal now and then, though.

News Subscription Cancelled. I organised for student access to a national news service which I was entitled to access throughout my uni degree. Without warning, I lost access. Reached out to UniDays for help. Took days to get a response. They asked for 'screenshots' but were not clear on what screenshots they were looking for. Days later, eventually responded with an explanation that didn't make sense in the context. Not sure what's going on at that end but completely unhelpful.

Not receiving my link so sent them an email with a copy of my student ID no reply from them
Do not think anyone working behind the scenes
Unless you get an email from them think no way of getting registered

Great service, my only issue - you’re not able to use your membership in foreign stores e.g. if you want use a UK membership in a German Apple Store, they are not able to recognise student discounts.

The service desk employees are a disgrace.
Today, I wanted to reconfirm my account. I've provided the same information as the years before (my student card and registration letter), with all necessary information visible. However, the service desk employees are not able (or not willing) to accept the documentation. They continuously ask for the same documentation and proof, without even looking or explaining what suddenly isn't acceptable anymore.
Concise timeline:
Me: Provided several screenshots of required documentation and proof.
Employee 1: I am not able to verify the information.
Me: Send the same documentation again, with the explanation that all info is available.
Employee 2: Exactly the same message as Employee 1.
Me: *getting irritated, because we're running in circles* Send the same documentation with circles around the required information.
Employee 2: We are not able to verify and will close the request.
Me: Send proof of last year's evaluation with the same documentation.
Employee 3: That's an email from last year, which is not allowed.
Me: Again, send all the required documentation and proof.
What the hell are they doing? They do not read e-mail history, they are completely incapable of decent communication, and are a shame for the company.
Update 11-05-2025
They just confirmed that the provided information has been accepted. The problem is solved, but the whole situation stays a shame for the company. Changed from 1* to 2*.

My recent interaction with UNiDAYS left me staggered by just how far a customer-service team can stray from the concept of “service”. I contacted them because my professional learning provider supplies proof of enrolment only through a secure online portal. UNiDAYS, however, demands the same information in a rigid, antiquated format they refuse to budge on.
Enter Raghavendra, the representative assigned to my ticket. Rather than read my query—or apparently even glance at it—he replied with a boiler-plate email. When I pushed back, hoping for a modicum of flexibility or an alternative route, the same email arrived again. The sole difference? He’d changed the colour of the bullet points. That’s right: no new advice, no creative workaround—just a fresh lick of paint on exactly the same unhelpful text.*

Won't verify even though I have provided all the information. Seems to be a case of computer say's no. So frustrating.
Update: say they are looking into it but have heard nothing from them.

My experience with UNIDAYS has been absolutely awful! I have provided multiple documents, verifying my admission and active enrollment in school and they continue to ask for documentation saying, what is sent is not meeting their requirements but they NEVER state what exactly is not meeting those requirements. I have sent my enrollment letter, copy of unofficial transcripts, my student ID, including my ID as a I have sent my enrollment letter, copy of unofficial transcripts, my student ID ( including my employee ID as an employee of the university I also attend) and an enrollment verification letter across attempts. Customer service is extremely unhelpful and does not respond until I email or reach out multiple times on the same thread. This game has become ridiculous. I will be trying Student Bean after this ridiculous experience.

Very happy with information the site has and student help

The customer service is horrible. I sent through my supporting document (enrolment letter) and they keep knocking it back because it didn't meet their requirements but failed to tell me what requirements it was missing. The letter covered everything they had asked for and when given a reply it would be a copy and paste of what the past person said. Random people reply back so you're never talking to the same person. Save yourself some time with them.

When my account stopped working due to some strange technical error, i reported it to their help desk. After days of wasted time back and forth answering pointless questions I’d already answered, their conclusion was that I didn’t actually have an account! Trying to re-register also resulted in the same technical error, so obviously I do have an account, but it’s broken somehow.
Incompetent and unhelpful help desk who wouldn’t escalate to their developers to resolve. Unfortunately some companies only accept unidays, but I refuse to waste any more of my time with them.
EDIT: yes they requested more info as per their message below which I supplied, and never heard from them again.

In university, and even in A-Levels, this company helped me genuinely save money. I wish though they extended discounts to more places, because sometimes it doesn’t feel like I benefit anymore from them. That being said, it’s worth it to keep unidays around.

Complete waste of time. Bunch of scammy runts, their codes don’t work at all. Don’t side up. AVOID AVOID AVOID

'cant verify you're a student' when you are studying online. When I have a physical student card. Stupid, I'll stick to student beans, thanks. They have no issues.
