Here's a review from an asylum seeker…

Here's a review from an asylum seeker living in the accommodation you manage in Napier Barracks : I am sharing a room with more than 12 people, with no access to decent washing facilities. We are scared of catching Covid because we are in such cramped conditions. The food us uneatable. This camp feels like the worst kind of prison, like a concentration camp. '
There are many such reviews like this, which I am posting on their behalf because the people living there have no voice to speak out.

NACCS profit by immiserating refugees

NACCS profit by immiserating refugees

This company is certainly not above endangering people's lives to make a bit of cash. Completely ethically bankrupt, they are keeping people in shared rooms of up to 14, in a disused army barracks declared unfit for human habitation in 2017, during a global pandemic.

Peace of mind, my behind!

NACCS claim they “offer landlords peace of mind”.... AT WHAT EXPENSE???! They are running asylum seeker accommodation in which the conditions are so unbearable that residents are on hunger strike. All power to the residents at Napier Barracks!

Must try harder

This company is using tax payer money via the Home Office to provide accommodation for Assylum seekers. The claims of substandard, degrading and dangerous environments across the UK must be addressed. Assylum seekers have the right to safe and clean housing as well as nutritious food and their claims must be heard.

NACCS should be ashamed

NACCS are managing inhumane camps for asylum seekers with uninhabitable conditions. At Napier Barracks in Kent there are upwards of 14 people to a single room, there have been confirmed cases of Covid-19 among the residents but people can't leave, have no ability to distance and a lack of basic facilities for hygiene. Disgraceful.

NACCS are an immoral company

NACCS are an immoral company

This company is ethically bankrupt. It is profiting from Home Office contracts to make the lives of asylum seekers in the UK as miserable as possible. Cold food, shoddy heating, inadequate healthcare, barbed wire fences, security guards. The world is watching Napier Barracks and we’re watching you too NACCS! We know you are trying to hide the fact that you profit from vulnerable peoples' misery!

Unfit accommodation

I have become aware that people seeking asylum are being forced to live in inhumane conditions in the Napier Barracks-not covid safe-up 14 to a room-lack of hot water, lighting and heating-poor food-no maintenance. NACCS are subcontracted for daily managment of the Napier barracks by Clearsprings, who are contracted by the UK Home Office for overall management.

Who is pocketing the taxpayer's money?

Where is the taxpayer's money going? The contract to house and care for asylum seekers is worth millions, yet they are being housed in prison camp conditions and fed swill. Presumably the money ends up in your investors' pockets. Absolutely criminal and shameful.

NACCS present themselves to be a…

NACCS present themselves to be a squeaky clean up market housing management company when in fact they are the subcontractors of asylum accommodation that has no access to drinking water, overcrowding (even during a pandemic) and sub standard food.

A disgrace

NACCS should be ashamed - where is your sense of humanity? The barracks you have the contract for that are holding people fleeing persecution and war - and they are in disgusting conditions. 14 people in one room, amidst a global pandemic. Inadequate hygiene. no room to social distance. Confirmed cases of COVID and yet noone is able to leave. This is shameful and disgusting, showing that you value profit before people and morals.

No electricity or potable water

Ummm… Can I just draw your attention to one testimonial of an asylum seeker being kept in one of your accommodations, Napier Barracks…? “There has been no electricity, hot water, or drinkable water. It’s extremely dark and cold at night. People can’t take a shower and we have to drink water from the toilet tap”.
