We had been experiencing ongoing issues with our intercom system, but thanks to Robert’s expertise,

Zero customer service

The arrogance and contempt with which this company treats its customers is truly something to behold.

I purchased some additional fobs from their website on 27 March. They state "your order will be logged and processed within one working day before being passed to our Production team. Production typically takes an additional 1-2 working days, depending on order volume."

The fobs finally arrived on 14/Apr. When I complained, I was told to wait and they ignored all further emails from me. For £58.08 this really was an awful experience.

Ordering fobs

I ordered fobs to the cost of just under 100 for my flat I told them when I ordered them that I needed access to other areas on my development due to accessing meters. They POSTED them only then I got an email saying the estate management had to confirm this right
to access. They did then emailed NACD who then tried to charge me over £160 ph for an engineer to attend to sort out my fobs! They should have asked me before posted! Terrible service is this a money making exercise? I'm taking their service to the residents meeting. Be warned!

Massively overpriced service, from what looks to be a dodgy company

I was locked out of my home on a Sunday and had no phone, so asked a neighbour to contact a locksmith. A person from NACD opened the lock by drilling it, and replaced the lock. But they drip fed me the charges, were quite pushy, and once the work was done informed me it would cost over £500. I had no choice but to pay, and only have an invoice because I took a photo of it. Needless the promised invoice has not arrived in my inbox, despite them having my email address.

Nacd not working for months

We have NACD in our blocks entry, which has been broken for the last 2.5 months!
Neither the building management nor the NACD have not attended to this in order to find a solution and we have been without a door entry system for months. Unbelievable.

He made it worse.

Brand new flat. The device they installed was malfunctioning, eg 2-3 times it didn't ring. They sent an "engineer" and after he left the device doesn't work at all (previously it was outside 2-3 times). He told me to wait for a couple weeks and if they don't call me to arrange an appointment to call them back. This is two weeks and then I should see if they can have an appointment for me. I need to be careful with my language.
This is a contractor employees by Fairview. If you don't buy a flat from a developer (which means that you don't have choice) DO NOT use these amateurs. I cannot believe that he left the entry system worse compared to previously. This guy is dangerous.

Avoid if Possible – Extremely Slow and Unreliable

This company is a contractor unfortunately hired by my building management, and the experience has been nothing but frustrating. It took them over three months to fix a simple magnetic door—something that should have been a quick job. They constantly pushed back the completion date with little to no explanation. The lack of communication and accountability was beyond disappointing. If you have a choice, I’d strongly recommend looking elsewhere for a more reliable service.

Just to appreciate one of your staff

Just to appreciate one of your staff, Ellis, to have fixed the back door and bike door today, he arrived the site for checking. He's so friendly and willing to help to have fixed the failing doors and installed two covers to protect the emergency buttons. He can fix them very quick today but he told the management company of the property didn't inform him the issues of the failing of back door and bike door!
In fact, residents have chased the management company of the property for at least two months!

Great experience

I usually don't tend to spend time on leaveling reviews but I was very impressed by the recent experience. We had our old door entry replaced with new and very modern one which calls directly to the phone via an app. At first, I was very confused of how to use it because of very modern technology.
I called NACD office and the lady on the phone detailed to me everything step by step. She was very patient with me and very polite. She guided me through each step and I was amazed by her level of service and respect. Thank you!

reliable and helpful

I had an issue with my handset and I needed to have it fixed fast as I was going away, the maintenance team understood my situation and booked app asap. Engineer attended next day and happy days, very helpful!

NACD know and understand everything…

NACD know and understand everything there is to know about security systems. They are approachable and supportive and I would recommend that anyone involved in procuring security systems or who is customer-facing, attends the training programme. It was incredibly helpful and informative

Very good recent experience with NACD.

We asked NACD to attend and quote for a new door entry system to be installed. Their quote was very detailed and we instructed them to go ahead. The change of door entry system in a large block takes a lot of organisation from all parties and everything went smoothly. I found the representative I dealt with (Ksenija) very helpful and accommodating as were the installation team. The work was done on the allotted day with no issues and the change over of systems was trouble free.

Dreadful entry system and unprofessional company

System doesn't work. Flats have been left with the main door unlocked for 6 months. Dangerous, unprofessional and inadequate. Avoid at all costs.

Edit: NACD have replied 4 months later, but have still not dealt with the complaint sent directly to them prior to my review. The system is still broken.

Please note that NACD also maintains third party systems installed by others, hence it could have been any system or condition that your complaint is about. All works are scheduled with a managing agent who is required to send us WO/PO prior to our attendance. The delay in resolving the issue could also have been out of our control, i.e. not receiving WO/PO for chargeable works in time or the system would be in need of new parts, or the system would be ageing and in need of a replacement.
Nevertheless, in the cases where something goes wrong on our side, we always aim to resolve the issue as the matter of urgency and make sure that the customer is left fully satisfied.

It's been 5 years

It's been 5 years of requesting to remove my number from the entry panel since moving out.

Not once has my request been actioned.

I've been getting almost daily calls from the entry system, all times of day and night for 5 years.

Totally secure, it isn't.

I can buzz anyone in, call the number back and use my keypad to remotely open doors at a property I no longer live at.

Reminded of this, I'm asked YET AGAIN to email.
I HAVE BEEN EMAILING YOU FOR YEARS.

A GDPR removal request has been sent, let's see if this gets any traction. They have 30 days.

Enough is enough.

SLOPPIEST COMPANY EVER

Being a block manager and having worked with numerous trades/engineers/labourers/specialists, I can whole heartedly say NACD are the worst company I've come across.

We had to wait almost one year for our intercom system to work again. And then when the engineer came, he messed up another communal door and this still hasn't been fixed.

People are going through a lot of stress because of this and everytime you call them, they don't seem to care.

Genuinely look elsewhere if you are looking for a good company.

EDIT:
After seeing their response below asking for more details, it is REGARDING THE ACADEMY CENTRAL ESTATE THAT YOU HAVE BEEN SO POORLY MANAGING, its absolutely disgusting.

And whats ironic is it took you 5 months to respond to this review which proves my point

Totally unprotected in my own home

To come and fix it is going to cost as another 870 and they cannot guarantee they can fix it. I really do not know what is the point of having this entry and this company. I wont recommend this company to anybody

Great company
