One of the worst experience

One of the worst experience. Our sales agent was CHRIS DAVIS, please be very very careful. He picked up phones and even called prior to the sale.

We got a quote for $3080 and after repeated calls we got no response as to when the movers will show up. The movers finally showed up and said it will cost 3X to move these same items!

What a scam and we are still trying to get our deposit back but don’t go with this agent or this company. They have a fake 4.7 review which they created it themselves. Please we lost a lot of money and this leave a bad taste as to why such agencies and people exists to cheat people.

I Feel Lied To and Cheated

I answered the call from North American Moving and was asked for the square footage of my home (635 sqft) to be given an estimate. Then we listed out the items. The company went through great lengths to get the items correct so that the estimate was accurate. Very nice, seemed genuine and I thought I was in good hands. I have a lot of negative things to say about the movers but in the end North America Movers sold me and did not help or take care of me when things went wrong with the movers. The movers they used were Flash Boys Moving LLC.

They were late (got there at 7pm instead of the window of 1-5pm) and they did not communicate with me. I finally got the number to call them and then they told me they would be late. To my dismay, this huge truck pulls up. We did not realize our items would be loaded and carried with other individuals items.

They over packed some of my items, using boxes when it wasn't needed and after all of that, they gave us the cost, about $800 more than estimated and they would only take cash or Venmo. We had no choice but to use them, it was already on the truck and we had to be out of the house that night. By this point it was 9:30pm. That's how long it took to load our tiny cottage furniture with 3 guys. They did not take care in loading- I personally watched my full length mirror leaned up against the truck fall.

My first available date for delivery comes up, I get no communication from them. Flash Boys finally call on a Monday and say it will be no later than Wednesday. They don't show up, I call back, no answer. No room for voicemail. No way to communicate. I call the North American Moving to help, they won't do anything more than tell me my account says it's pending delivery. A week goes by, I get another call from Flash Boys saying it will be by Friday of that week. No communication until Friday afternoon asking for a Saturday delivery.

Sure enough, the mirror was broken along with three other items. One of my plastic bins lid was broken with an actual foot print where someone had stepped on it. The guy moving me says I have to call Flash Boys to file an insurance claim. I tell him no one will answer my calls, how can I do that if I can't speak to anyone? He won't help me, he leaves.

I call them on Monday, no answer, voicemail full. I call North American Moving, they tell me I need to file a claim with CSI and when I can't do that because I don't have adequate information about the movers which CSI needs to file the claim, the customer service representative is extremely rude and relatively unhelpful as they have all been since I have paid them. I call CSI directly, turns out they don't even do claims for Flash Boys Moving and his advice is to contact them to get their insurance claim information. So I am back to contacting a company that will not answer me.

I would not use this company if it was $10. My experience here is there are so many companies hired on so that they can all point fingers at one another when something goes wrong and no one to help or take responsibility. I would avoid this route at all cost!

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY! Worst experience ever. Not only did they not deliver all of my things their claims services are beyond terrible. First and foremost, we did not receive all of our belongings and are more than insulted with regards to the manner in which this matter is being pursued by North American Moving Experts LLC, Respect LLC DBA Mover Van Lines and any other affiliates.

From the top, my wife hired a broker, North American Moving Expert LLC, to get us moved from AZ to FL. North American brokered the deal to Mover Van Lines LLC and this is where the problems began.

Pickup drivers showed up late crammed our items into a truck that was already too full, had us sign some paperwork and off they went. The only thing we knew for sure was that a our boxes were headed to Las Vegas to be put onto another truck.

Waited 6 weeks, sleeping on an air mattress, for our goods to be delivered. Driver spoke little English and his helper, who was a day laborer, showed up on a moped. We are still missing 17 of the 35 boxes that were loaded. Parts of our bed were broken, our tables were all scratched, and they did not have our 3 piece couch or our coffee table. More than that they did not honor the clause in the contract regarding the reassembly of our goods.

Called Mover Van Lines and was directed to CSI Pros to submit our claim information. Of course, we were offered no guidance as to how the process worked and after completing the 15 page claim form that included pictures of the damages incurred, website references for the damaged items, and all other necessary information our claim was denied out of hand. I don't think I've ever felt more disrespected by anyone. Never hiring Move Van Lines or North American Moving Experts again.

Advice that we can offer from this experience. Don't hire anyone that is a broker, use only companies that deal directly with you. Don't hire anyone that is going to off load and then reload your belongings. Always buy the insurance and make sure you know how to file a claim against the moving company. All that being said here's some information about North American Moving Experts, Mover Van Lines and CSI that might be helpful if you are in a similar situation.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! They never showed up on either scheduled date. Kept pushing times. Ignored my phone calls and text messages. Added prices to a binding estimate and refused to abide by the binding. Driver wasn’t even in the same state and kept giving me the run around on updates. Highly unprofessional, zero customer service. I wouldn’t hire this company ever again. I’ll carry one box at a time before I hire them.

This company is a broker not an actual moving company

This company is a broker, meaning they quote the job and then contract it out to other companies, but that's not how they represent themselves. They quoted $2200 to move a bed, a couch and roughly 10 boxes from Tennessee to Florida. The final bill was $3600 and the whole experience was disorganized and unprofessional. You get what you pay for so if you go with the cheapest option don't be surprised when the experience is subpar. Lesson learned.

Liars and Scammers

Liars and scammers that will steal half your stuff, underquote you by thousands of dollars and ghost you when you try to get it back. Look at their Yelp reviews, I don't believe any real people have any good experiences with this company. First time I've considered suing a company. You've been warned.

TAKING ADVANTAGE OF A DISABLED VETERANS…

TAKING ADVANTAGE OF A DISABLED VETERANS ON FIXED INCOME! Scam, rip off, scam! We booked with broker NORTH AMERICAN MOVING. They set the contract way too small just to get the job knowing that 342sq ft wasn't enough for our home. Next received our deposit WITH INSURANCE $630 to start the DEAL of a $1900 deal.

When Acirfa Vanlines LLC first contact us (2) days early & asked was it OK? We said no problem. Upon arrival the driver AL said he only had 890sq ft & all our stuff would fit. We called the broker & they said no one came out to give the actual accessment. AL said let see how much we can get with the space. Once loaded in order to ship was an additional 548sq ft which was an additional $2100 to our total making our $600 to $1800.
MEANWHILE, AL rewrote the contract & changed the initial dates from Dec 17th - 20th to Dec 14th - 18th to fit their schedule. DISREGARD OUR DATES. We asked about the delivery date & AL said they could guarantee the 20th & they would put our things in storage until the delivery date. So we ended up saying in a hotel due to nothing left in the house. At this point we left early & had to do emergency dialysis in Milwaukee just because things didn't go as planned. On the 17th we get a call from OMAR THHE OWNER that he needed to deliver our things tomorrow by 4pm & we said our delivery date was the 20th. He said he could put our items in storage but he could not guarantee that it could make it back in time. Their storage facility was in NEW YORK & said it could be the 22nd, 24th etc... So we agreed because we needed our furniture. Upon arrival in Milwaukee they made sure the final payment was cash or Venmo only before they would unload anything $1800. Mind you our stuff WAS NOT ON THE SAME TRUCK. Our stuff was thrown around, damaged, & not the same truck that was originally loaded. They only assembled the bed & kitchen table. Futon etc... He said he had nothing to do with anything else. IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE COMPLETE DISASSEMBLY & ASSEMBLY. They damaged out 75" tv, dining room table, & our bed sheets. Tried to put the insurance claim in & now no response. We received a letter stating the broker insurance CSI was not accepting anymore claims from Acirfa Vanlines LLC. What a horrible experience for a Vet that served our country, disabled, wife disabled, & fixed income & can't afford a lawyer. These people need prayer!

Terrible experience

had a terrible experience with this company. They under quoted by over $1000. They delivered on a date not agreed upon. They were unhelpful, rude, and would not show any proof of discrepancies. When I questioned they threatened to throw my items in storage, essentially holding my stuff hostage until I gave them the money they demanded. I hope this review helps someone else not have to go through what I just did.
