Great customer service for exchange
Recently purchased Gabrielle dress a size too large, exchanged for another colour promptly. Also bought 2 dresses on sale, beautiful silk cotton material and lace, excellent quality and fit.

Overly complicated return
I ordered 3 jumpsuits to wear to a party. They were supposed to arrive by Thursday for party on Saturday but did not show up (via DHL) until Monday. I emailed to request return instructions and had no reply so emailed again the next day. Someone tried to call and then I received an email offering to make a bespoke item which is lovely in theory but STILL no return instructions! I just want to know how to return what I've ordered and don't understand why they make it soooo complicated! Just give me a return address for goodness sake!

Beautiful looking clothing beautiful fabric the finish maybe could be better given the price point.
Their communication could be better - an item was listed on website as being available 2 days later. After 10 days only received an order confirmation. Chased and apologies that it would 3 more weeks.
I ordered a beautiful jumpsuit - beautiful fabric, fit beautifully but wanted to return due to totally impractical given 2 tiny v tight buttons rear neck buttons and a full length back zip which you would struggle to manage in a toilet cubicle on an evening out. I could not put it on or off without help with the zip - no use if you have to take it off ever time you use the loo

Excellent customer service
Beautiful dress bought for a wedding, could have been a little better finished but thought it would be fine once ironed. Unfortunately it didn’t iron well and at the last minute I decided it wasn’t wearable! Amid my stress of emptying my wardrobe to find something else , I sent a fairly abrupt( unlike me) email asking for return info. Within 1/2 hour I had a call offering to pay for professional steam clean, as this wasn’t an option they sent return label and my money was returned within a week. This customer service is exactly how all other companies should model themselves on- I hope I have an occasion to try another of there beautiful outfits!
Second to none.
I purchased an exquisite Nancy Mac jumpsuit having been in love with them for years (Jean Milburn has a lot to answer for!) Everything from the communication, the delivery time, the packaging, the quality has been an absolute dream. I bought a size too small thinking I’d slim into it- I didn’t manage it in time for my event but it was exchanged for a different size without any fuss even 2 months after my initial purchase date. I am so seriously impressed and will be recommending to all of my friends
Fantastic customer service
This company could not have been more helpful, and despite the fact that I wasn't able to find a dress I liked for my son's wedding, they tried their very best to help by exchanging several times with no questions asked, and processing my refund quickly when I couldn't find the perfect outfit. The clothes were all beautifully made and well cut, but sadly none worked for me, but I have to say the customer service was absolutely faultless. One slight quibble is that what is described as 'crepe' fabric online isn't really crepe at all, but a much lighter, silkier fabric. But it's beautiful nonetheless.
Long winded returns process …
I have tried to trigger the returns process today via the website and have had to have a long web chat with someone . I now have to wait for some one to email me to progress my return . Very inefficient

Absolutely brilliant company. Beautiful clothes, well made and incredibly helpful staff.
The top size velvet jumpsuit didn't fit me very well so they made the next size up for me to order, with certain adjustments to make sure the fit was good.
The clothes are expensive, but the materials and work are good, so I think well worth the cost. They'll last and have MANY wears.
Great customer service, treated me really well
I was looking for a special outfit for a 60th birthday party. Unfortunately the Nancy Mac outfits I ordered did not suit, which was a shame as the items were absolutely lovely. I spoke and emailed with several of the team, and they were always very very helpful and imo went the extra mile. Compared with a large retailer some of the processes are not perfect, hence the 4 instead of 5. But the team treated me really well and tried really hard to meet my needs.
Excellent clothes and customer service
Excellent clothes, lovely patterns and excellent customer service. Had to exchange an item that didn't fit right, process was very fast. Nancy Mac sent me a free returns label and I dropped it off at the local DHL drop-off point. Received my replacement item in a few days. Annette and Linda are great! Thank you.
Poor Quality
I think for the money my Peacock Green velvet coat has been poorly made. The lining,apart from being really cheap nylon is all bunched up near the split at the back. I'm sure given a couple if times wearing my coat the lining will hang beneath the velvet. Such a shame as I was so looking forward to this expensive coat. Just poor quality all round.
Shop in Brighton never open, slow to reply to messages
I wanted to buy two dresses from Nancy Mac last year but no-one ever answered the phone when I tried to enquire about opening times at their Brighton shop. I eventually received a reply to my email saying they would be open on that weekend but when I made the 15-mile journey again to Brighton they were still shut. Phoned their number from outside the shop but as usual it just went to voicemail. A very disappointing experience : (
I am so disappointed
I am so disappointed. I had been looking for ages for a special dress for my wedding vow renewal when I came across Nancy Mac and their beautiful dresses. I could have chosen 10 and would have definitely become a regular customer. I showed the website to all my friends who helped me decide on which dress to get and I placed an order. I was advised it would arrive by a certain date at the latest and it didn’t.
I waited a few days and then left a message with the answering service for someone to call me (you don’t actually get to speak with anyone at Nancy Mac). I didn’t receive a call back. I then emailed and then heard back that the dress had not even been dispatched yet but that it would be. Fair enough they should have emailed me to let me know there was a delay, but these things happen. The dress arrived today. I was so excited and then I opened the package to find that they had sent me the wrong dress. I again had to call an answering service, and follow that up with an email and a message on Facebook.
I don’t like leaving a poor review I appreciate mistakes happen but there was no real concern at all that these mistakes had happened, no real apology and just generally poor customer service. Buying something special to wear for an important occasion is fun and exciting and the whole buying experience has been ruined. I don’t actually wants the dress that I loved so much now and will be inconvenienced to return the wrong one.
Poor customer service over returns
Poor customer service, sadly. The dresses I ordered were lovely but a poor fit. The returns system, however, is that you have to email for details. In the website there is no address, no explanation of the system and no telephone number. I tried emailing the specified email address to sort the return but got no response. Then I tried the chat. I was told that someone would be in contact with me to give me the correct address. How difficult can it be to simply put the postal address on the website??
After 8 hours I tried the chat again. Still they refuse to give me the address. Am not sure what to do, except perhaps to send it to the company’s registered address then charge back via my credit card. As I am going on holiday in two days’ time, I don’t have time to wait for a company that refuses to reveal its returns address! So much hassle it’s not worth it.
Gggggorgeous Green Hydrangea crepe Sable Dress
I saw a Nancy Mac dress on the fabulous Lauren Laverne and loved the style. I bought a Sable Dress, Green Hydrangea Crepe, for my sister’s upcoming wedding..and I absolutely LOVE it! Timing was a bit tight so it HAD to be right..and it absolutely WAS!!! Design, quality, fit... I can’t fault it! Would highly recommend Nancy Mac to all the sassy stylish ladies out there!!!
