Contaminated products!

Found a black/brown stone or piece of metal in a tin of chopped tomatoes, nearly broke a tooth and cut the roof of my mouth. Complained to them yesterday with pictures and full information and not a word. They don't care in the slightest that their products are contaminated, never mind finding out what this item is as it could be in other tins with the same batch number. I'm going to report them to FSA now as they deal with recalls. Will certainly never buy a napolina product again!

Hopeless ring pulls

I love these tomatoes and currently go through 4 or 5 tins a week, but as already stated in these reviews, the ring pulls on the cans are hopeless. On about 1 in 3 tins, the ring pulls will just pull right off.

Then it's either a case of punching a hole and peeling the lid open with a knife blade (which typically ends up with tomato juice everywhere) or use a tin opener, which defeats the object of a ring pull top.

Watch you fingers

While I have generally no issues with the quality of napolina tinned tomatoes, I have a huge issue with the ring pull can. The ring pull is very sharp and flimsy and is simply not fit for purpose. Generally it snaps off and I have to revert to a manual tin opener. Not good enough.

bought plum but contents was chopped

bought plum but contents was chopped - they sent vouchers for new - so resolution was there but put 3 stars instead of 4 because it took an incredibly long time and lots of pictures - would have preferred they just sent a new 4 pack to the house
