Napster let me down and taken all my money

They changed from a downloading stream music service with no notification
I have created lists and lists of music I love over many years. Music I've loved and means something AND PAID FOR but no Napster tell you to go to another website as it's now only for creative people. Give an instruction which means nothing and DOES NOT WORK IF YOU'RE ONLY WORKING ON A SMARTPHONE
NO telephone number to speak to an empathetic person to HELP
I am angry and disappointed. Nothing for loyalty or any one to speak to who cares

Disappointing company, be warned.

Loosing a large number of downloads without any prior notice . When one contacts Napster they apologise. Finally I advise them that I intended stopping my subscription at the end of this month , howvere they have already me although I advised Napster my subscription took me to the end of the month.
I have been with Napster for nearly 20 years, I now found Spotify far better . Don't bother building a music folder with this company to find they destroy without prior notice.

Ripped off after 20+ years of membership!

I have been a paid subscriber for over 20 years, since the Rhapsody days. This company suddenly erased my decades of playlists and downloaded music but continued to collect my monthly payment. This is criminal. I will pursue legal action.

I WISH I COULD GIVE THIS A DOUBLE zero 20 YEARS OF MUSIC GONE BECAUSE THEY DECIDE TO CHANGE AND LOSE LICENSES , I GUESS ONCE A CROOK ALWAYS A CROOK. MY MEMORIES ARE GONE, 20 YEARS OF SONGS THAT PLAY A ROLE IN HELPING GET THROUGH TOUGH TIMES.. F'N GONE. I WONT SKTOP UNIL I BLAST OVER SOCIAL MEDIA AND THEN THE bbb

Loss of 100's Napster tracks with no recourse.

Most disappointed at huge numbers of my music tracks disappearing from my play lists, after creating a huge catalogue of music over the many, many years of membership. I am now 70 years of age, having become divorced, losing my house along with my beloved record collection, suffering prostate cancer and more recently acute myloid leukaemia used my Napster music account to at least help me through all this and the multiple hospitalisation periods of intense chemo treatment which still continue. They have no concept of what losing all of this music has meant to me, as music is the one constant in life that has always lifted my spirits, and been my rock. I dont think as a company they realise what they are doing to music loving members by doing what they are doing with no care as to the effect on people. I doubt that this will make any difference, but hopefully it might prick a conscience somewhere in their organisation. I had hoped for my catalogue to be played at my funeral when this occurs!

Long time customer lost

Long time Napster customer from the Rhapsody days. At least 15 years. Lately I noticed songs disappearing from my play lists. Yesterday I lost 90% of my music. Reached out to tech support and their answer is that they are updating to AI technology and my format is not a avaialable anymore. No notice, no communication just all the music is gone. Need to create new list, but they can't even tell me if I create new ones if these formats are new or old. What a waste of time.
Taking my business to Spotify and will certainly leave poor reviews.

Very helpful customer service, hope their problems get resolved soon

I have been with Napster since it was Rhapsody and it's always been a great service. Recently, I understand, they have had re-licensing issues and a large number of tracks have been pulled. Since I pay by yearly subscription, I wrote complaining this was not what i agreed to and they instantly refunded my payment, their customer service was great to deal with. I hope that their issues get resolved soon.

Half tracks unavailable as connection…

Half tracks unavailable as connection is lost, not Internet that's fine, I have built up playlists and they will only play a handful of tracks rest say connection is lost, search is missing 8 out of 10 don't know why as I have stuck with them through loyalty and not entertaining Spotify but time for change. Used them for 35 years from when they set up p2p guess change of owner screwed it up.

Napping Napster

Been with them for many years. My bank declined the payment request as they suspected fraudulent activity. I authorised the payment but Napster cancelled my account and then wanted over double what I usually pay to reinstate it. Not to be trusted and the way they treat loyalty is appalling. Goodbye Napster you are one bad company

Dont get this app or youll be sorry. Simple as that

I had a playlist that had 300 songs after one of their “updates” i had 10(i lost songs n other playlist too). They lead me on for almost two months pretending there was a fix for this, and kept taking a payment from me. I cant remember all the names of 300 songs so most of them are just gone because of their poor service. I wish I could give a negative star rating.

When things go wrong they don't seem to…

When things go wrong they don't seem to care. They tell you they will email then don't. The best you get from the online chat is "sorry for any inconvenience". They when you do get an email it says your problem is solved when it isn't, all they have done is send you another copy of your last online chat transcript.

The app is trash

Both the Windows and Android apps are constantly crashing.

Some songs are broken and the if you want to search for something you have to enter it exactly, while Spotify is able to find something even if mispelled.

Doesn't accept anyone in family plan

Subscribed to family plan but my family cannot join. It says that they have to be in the same country in order to join. We are not only in the same country but also in the same room!!
