I arranged an archery session in Luss…

I arranged an archery session in Luss for my daughter and her uncle as a special birthday surprise. Unfortunately, when they got to the location, it was abandoned and locked up. I called the contact number from the booking and was informed that they didn’t offer archery services and suspected I might have been tricked. Reaching out to National Archery brought relief as they confirmed I wasn’t deceived and promptly processed a refund, which appeared in my account within two days. A manager at Luss apologized and provided a discount for a future booking of a different activity. Despite the disappointment, my daughter was really eager about the experience. I’m now cautious about using similar booking sites.

We booked and paid for a surprise event…

We booked and paid for a surprise event for our grandson’s 21st birthday. Given this information they took two days to cancel on us given a slot 2 weeks later. Very poor customer service from this company, disappointed is an understatement

Awful service

Awful service, booking system said they had availability. Took the money and then 2 days later said they could do the event. Do not use and avoid at all costs

Booked an Archery experience that didn't exist

Booked an Archery experience in Luss for my daughter and her uncle as a gift for her birthday, however when they arrived there was no-one there and the place was boarded up. Phoned the number on the booking, was told they did not do archery and she thought I'd been scammed! Phoned National Archery who assured me I had not been scammed and they would issue a refund, this was in my account within 2 days. Spoke to a manager at Luss who offered a discount on a future booking with them for a different experience. My daughter had been really looking forward to this and it was quite upsetting. I would be wary using a site like this now.

A Disappointing Archery Experience

Got to our slot on time, although a signboard on the turf would have made it easier. The sign on the building was very small, that we drove past half a mile and noticed on return.

Signed paperwork at Reception. Hardly any atmosphere or welcome. Then was directed down to another building.

The Archery event was set up amongst woodland. Pictures on the website were deceiving, impressions were it would take place in an open field. With temperatures of 20C and clear skies, it was disappointing.

It took 20 mins for 5 of us to be shown the techniques of archery (not the first time taking part in the activity). This left us 40 mins of competition.

We played 2 games, with 5 mins left and the host decided we should become left handed.

The host was friendly and supportive. I would have expected another 2 games and some discretion to be given (Another 10 mins) when the actual competition started between us as we lost time being shown how to remove the arrows from the board.

There was only one board we were all using. Multiple Boards would have meant more games and value for money.

Unfortunately, as we walked back to parking, we were disappointed and came out with reviews such as "It hadn't even started and it ended".

At £26 a person, it is poor value and expensive. A mesmerising website, however, not a mesmerising experience on the day. A let down.

Improvements: 80 mins of Play @ £26. Take into consideration, tutorial takes time.

Avoid! Waste of time!

Do not book through National Archery. Their website does not show accurate booking availability for facilities. We’ve had our hopes dashed on two occasions thinking that we were booked in or could at least find a suitable arrangement after providing a number of dates. The first occasion availability was showing as plentiful but denied when booking as NA advised they were fully booked! Second occasion a few months later they didn’t even respond to our email after telling us another place was booked up despite showing availability. I would book direct if you can!! Avoid avoid avoid!!!
