Consumers frequently mention that the sales team is exceptionally welcoming, guiding them patiently through every step of the vehicle purchasing journey. Many buyers appreciate the relaxed atmosphere during test drives and find the initial handover process to be quick and efficient. However, some customers also noted persistent mechanical faults developing shortly after driving their cars away from the dealership. I wish 0 stars were an option

I purchased a Discovery Sport.
When looking at the car it was reserved for someone else but they sold it to me anyway.
This was either an attempt at making me feel lucky / special and fake or they demonstrated a lack of care for the other customer.
On the journey home I felt it was a strange thing for them to have done.

They told me the car was £12,200. But I saw the screen which said £11,700.
When challenged the pretended that that price was only because the other purchaser had paid a £500 reservation fee. (Their website states it’s only £250 to reserve a car)

Although I purchased it I left the garage feeling like they had tried to “wheeler dealer” me. I discussed with family that I felt they were dodgy but caveated it / justified it with my lack of car knowledge and discomfort as a result. When I got home I read the reviews of the garage in various platforms and it confirmed I was right to feel uncomfortable. I wish I’d heeded the sooner!

It went from bad to worse for the next 3.5 weeks until I pulled out of the sale.
Having purchased it on the Sunday I then received a call on Tuesday saying I could collect it on the Wednesday.
On Wednesday they said it wasn’t ready as it was in the workshop. They couldn’t tell me why or how long it would take. They said to just wait for the phone call to say to collect it.
I rang 2 days later asking for an update. They told me it was in the garage and still couldn’t tell me why, just that parts had been ordered. I asked for a phone call back to let me know what was being fixed.
They never called back.
(I should add that I didn’t mind something needing to be fixed - I appreciated that they were fixing something! but the cavalier attitude of not bothering to tell me what it was, the quite dismissive attitude and very superficial information was concerning and frankly, rude)
I rang again, in the morning, 3 days later to ask for an update. They still couldn’t tell me what was wrong until I insisted they find out and ring me back that day. They still didn’t call back. I rang again at lunch time but they still couldn’t tell me but promised they’d ring back by 1pm. They didn’t. I rang before closing on the same day they eventually said it was the timing chain being replaced.

I rang again 4 days later having had no further updates to be told it wasn’t ready and parts had been ordered. When I asked what parts they couldn’t tell me. I asked for them to find out and call me.
They don’t call back.
I rang the following day to be told it was the gaskets that needed replacing and I would have a phone call the following day to update me.
They didn’t call.
I rang and managed to speak to the sales man who sold me the car. Brandon. He was apologetic, told me they didn’t have any staff in after sales and were currently recruiting. I told him that he should have have the courtesy to keep me updated then.
He promised to call the following day to let me know when the car would be ready. Said he’d personally visit the engineer and get a completed date / time and assured me he’d ring by 11am the following day. (Monday)
He didn’t call
I rang at 1pm only to find out he wasn’t working that day or the following.
I asked to speak to a manager but he wasn’t available.
I rang the following day to cancel the car.

So many red flags - I obviously should have pulled out the sale a lot earlier but every time told myself surely it can’t get any worse! It always did.

The over all attitude was shocking.
So little respect.

The silver lining is that I clearly avoided a rubbish car.

And they didn’t end up getting my money.

Please please take note of reviews - this is not a good garage.
Part of me believes they didn’t want me to have the car. They had spent money fixing it and wanted to sell it for more. Having read other reviews it seems to be a pattern to make people wait weeks until they pull out of the sale.

When I cancelled the order the manager rang the next day, briefly apologised and transferred the deposit back straight away. It was the best service I’d received. I suspect they were delighted to be able to list the car again for more money.

Shocking service and a shocking garage.

STAY CLEAR OF THIS CORRUPT COMPANY!

STAY CLEAR OF THIS CORRUPT COMPANY!!

I have now had to start court proceedings to get money back for my car fixing over 3k! Do NOT let them near your car when it’s faulty or fit it with a tracker they put 308 miles on my car and cleared the engine light to make it appear it was sorted! Numerous names on Bluetooth set up and seats laid back and bottles left in car clearly used it to cruise in! Record EVERY phone call they lie all the time it becomes natural to them! The cars there are BATTERED had I not have drove so far to get it I would have walked away! Just avoid them like the plague I’ve got all the evidence I need to have them in court some people may not so get a record of EVERYTHING nothing but a nightmare needs shutting down! The reviews speak for themselves this is not a one off thing this is something they do every day see you in court national car hub!

Came to buy a car from Car Nation…

Came to buy a car from Car Nation Walall I liked the car so much after seeing pictures on its website I paid £100 to secure it . In truth they only show you want THEY want to SHOW you as so disappointed when I finally got to see the car .a "boy racer car ' will plenty of damage alloy wheels so scuffed you would of thought 'Stevie Wonder ' had been driving .Unrecorded body damage , different shades of paint or misaligned body panels and it's fair to say if I had seen this before hand I would not of bothered going ......yes it's a second hand car NOT a brand new one so I was expecting some marks or supermarket trolley car park damage
It's a big operation there and probably it's mass bought auction trade cars probably very little closer attention for detail unlike a one or two cars for sale dealer but ' make it look pretty with a quick wipe and some one will buy .
Even though it's a big site / operation ( which I didn't really know till I got there ) little requests get ignored even if the lady I spoke to agreed it would happen ' its raining can I view the car under cover yet arriving there's the car sitting in the rain obliviously because rain masks paintwork damage where as a dry car shows everything !

Sales manager / sales man blind to see 'any ' damage but then offer to sort out some damage ......profit or return projections must be high in the first place !
Sales manager pushy to get this car sold .
I wonder why ?

Funny how very quick to take this £100 deposit ' fully refundable no matter what ' stange though they couldn't give refund my using their card machine which every desk has but you have to email your details in ...they promise it be back in your account 3 days time ......time will tell .

There are better cars and dealers out there ...since they add a £500;admin fee onto every car .....a admin fee for WHAT ???? ( apart from making them EXTRA PROFIT )

Female petrol head

As a female who regularly changes cars, my experience of National Car Hub is one of the best I’ve ever had. The service from the first phone call to collection of my vehicle was excellent. The team were friendly and made me comfortable at the dealership. There’s a huge range of cars at very reasonable prices to suit all budgets

My limited edition Renault Clio was the cheapest in the country and I drove down from Doncaster for it. Well worth the drive as it was exactly as described and in the photos. After sales was really helpful as well in helping me get my Private Plate changed over. Would highly recommend to everyone. Will come back for my next car. Thanks to all the team.

Be careful

Be careful.
All about the money, little care and attention given to customer service and preparation of vehicle.
Had two issues with car on way home, had to call at garage to rectify..
Before car driven away had to point out tyre pressure warning. Basic checks missed at point of sale.
Customer service wasn’t great. Phoned three times for some information and never received the information.
Would not recommend

National Car Hub AVOID !!!!!!!!

National Car Hub has to be avoided at all costs. The staff are very dishonest they sell cars which they know are faulty. But when you drive the car away and later find a problem on it they will blame you the customer.

Bought a car on finance in 2023 March. Went to collect the Ford Kuga. The body was very beautiful but the engine had problems. Staff members at National Car Hub do not tell the truth from the Manager to the smallest boy. They use a finance company called Startline. The car was known to have a themostart housing problem that was broken. But they let me sign the agreement documents when they knew about the problem with the car and lied that it was sorted. They had mentioned it that they were sorting the themostart. But they did not. So i drove the car 3 hours to my place with great trust. There was no heating in the car. On phoning them the following day after a very bad and cold night the staff member who served me lied in my face that the car had heating when he picked me from the station a distance of 5 minutes drive. Liars. Then the Manager at that time instructed me to take the car to the nearest garage.

When i did that, the mechanic at PD Motors was shocked and asked where did i buy such a car? I said National Car Hub. He noded sympathetically. Then i was told it was very dangerous to have driven such a car that long distance.

The coolant tank was completely empty. Their was fresh rust and dry rust that showed a long term leakage of water from the themostart housing. So they made me drive a faulty car 3 hours away when they infact had told me the problem was sorted. Liars liars AVOID!!!!

They even blamed me and the manager even u turned and exonerated herself that she did not authorise any repairs. She them put falsehoods in the system "unauthorised repairs" so that even the finance company danced to the boring tune from a manager who sits on a chair not suiting her. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. They have no respect to customers.

On the other hand the finance company joined the unprofessional staff members of National car hub. The biggest problem is you deal with one person today and no information is logged in the computer, then the next time you phone and someone answers you have to start all over again.

They will sell you a car on hire purchase, make you pay deposit and when you get stark with their faulty cars they do not care. They will ignore you and all they do is an instruction to the collection department for instalments even if their Vehicle is off the road from before you use it until they start telling you about making your credit file dirty. A default has been blablabla is all they do. They value money more than providing service. This happened on 15 March 2023.

Their calender has been limited from showing dates over 12 months backwards. So i will just put 15 March 2024 as is the limited option from National car hub. Dishonest sales team

BUY FROM NATIONAL CAR HUB AT OWN RISK.!!!!
