Was in the loan process

Was in the loan process. The appraisal came back undervalued for the land. (.5 acre just up the street appraised for just under $25K in March 2025. They showed my 1.4 acres appraising at $39K I was disputing that. So no closing date, no final closing cost numbers. They sent my insurance a request to change the mortgage clause! When I called them on it, they first denied it stating that doesn't happen until closing. I sent the the email documentation that was sent from their loan processor to my insurance agent! I then got a call from another person in their office who was condescending and rude. I waited for her to go through her lengthy condescending explanation and asked if she was done. When I started talking she talked over me and would not listen to me. I stopped the process immediately and will never do business with them

Do Not Answer the Cold call from…

Do Not Answer the Cold call from Nations Lending. I did and I'm out $750. for an apprasial that I did NOT need.. It was an 8 week run around. I was told over e-mail and over the phone by Both Damon Washington and his Boss David Porter that my loan was approved and that was the ONLY reason why I alllowed the appraiser to come to my house. I was upfront from Day one, both over the phone and in an e-mail the stats on my house.1st day Spent 5 hours sending in paper work they required me to send. Because Dammon was out sick a lot I also delt with his boss David Poter. He assured me my loan was approved over the phone as well as an e-mail he sent me with in days of the first call. First I was told that my loan would close at the end of the month by Dammon. Then when the time came I was told by David that it would be a couple more weeks. That everything was approved and that they just needed more leg work. 8 weeks later I was turned down for my loan because my house didn't meet their stats. Asking to refiance at $160.000 and House is worth at least $400,000 so that I could put a new roof on house. After getting first loan agrement papers I said NO as there was over $10,000 in closing costs.Plus another $4000 for insurance and taxes. But Damon Kept reaching out to me so I agreed to go forward becaue once again I was told my loan had been approved. I was over charged for the appasal by $150. and canceled the whole thing again but then David Porter called me and assured me my loan was approved and brought the apprasial down to the agreed apon price of 750. I was told by Dammon more then once NOt to make my Next House Pmt. and to turn off any auto pays for it. That my first New Pmt would be in 2 months. After getting the run around for 8 weeks they will NOT stand by their word or return the $750.. Now I find out that they already told my house insurance company to change it into their name on the 9th of this month but was told I hadn't been approved for the loan on the 14th. Reached out to David Porter many times asking for my $750. back and he said he would listen to my phone calls with Damnon. I sent David the e-mails I sent Dammon with house stats on day one and reminded him of his e-mails and phone calls where he assured me my loan was approved. He told me he would get back to me last Wed. but he Never did. Do NOT trust these people. Will be filing with small claims court.
