I was really happy to find a supplier of my favourite coffee and decided to order from Natubrazil. I ordered via Amazon and felt safe in doing so. The coffee arrived ahead of schedule but was accompanied by a Vat demand of more than what I paid for the coffee. I contacted Natubrazil who simply said u shouldn't pay any import charges. I know that. So I decided to pay in the belief that a clear mistake had been made by HMRC. On receiving the package, I looked at all of the labelling and here lay the error - not by HMRC but by Natubrazil. They had declared a £61 package of coffee as €335 of merchandise. That explained the £71 charge my HMRC. I tried to deal with Natubrazil about reclaiming this cost and silence. Even after sending them the evidence, no response whatsoever except to continue that I shouldn't be paying import charges. My other option was to let the products be returned but then I would've lost both money and my beloved coffee. Sure, I will claim back the charges from HMRC but no thanks to the team at Natubrazil who should focus on their domestic market if they cannot manage to send a parcel correctly overseas resulting in stress and extra costs for their customers. I have never received an apology. Sadly they have lost a potential new customer in me and I cannot recommend them aa a reliable supplier to the UK market.
