Not a durable Barefoot Boot for Winter Walking
I absolutely loved my first pair of tracker vegan leather shoes from this company, so comfortable and perfect for hiking until they came apart 5 months after receiving them! Natur Contact offered me a replacement, but did not have the same pair in stock, so I settled on the Intemperia Winter Barefoot boots. These were very disappointing, they were uncomfortably stiff, felt just like a much cheaper regular boot and soaked up the rain that I was walking in like paper. My socks and feet were soaking when I took them off as was the inside of the boots which took 48 hours to dry out; they are definitely not suitable for winter weather and are not in the least water resistant as the description on their website states. When I contacted customer service, I received a curt reply advising that the replacement pair had been sent as ‘a goodwill gesture’ and not under the 12 months guarantee offered. I would suggest, as confirmed by the cobbler that repaired the first pair, that the sole coming away from the body of the boot was a factory problem as the build quality was not good, which surely qualifies as eligible for replacement under guarantee? I will stick with the repaired pair, which the cobbler has done a good job gluing as they are at least comfortable and water resistant. The replacement pair are ‘not fit for purpose’, so I am unlikely to wear them again. I would not recommend this brand, the quality I have experienced has not been what I expected for the money paid.

I had an issue with an original purchase which I needed addressing. My problem was picked up and dealt with immediately. I was faced with having to decide on a replacement product and Emily at Naturcontact was beyond helpful. I would 100% recommend using Naturcontact for your purchases.
Really poor customer service
Bought 2 pairs of summer shows in late summer, barely wore one of them and noticed the sole is peeling away from the shoe. Contacted them to see if they could be replaced or refunded and was told this is reasonable wear and tear to expect. If they are making a shoe that peels apart with limited use in 8 months then I do not see the point in buying them. Really disappointed as the other pair I got and wore regularly I loved, and this has made me lose all confidence in the company and their products. To add regarding their response, this was a replacement pair because the ones I initially received had a manufacturing error so they replaced them, not a great advocate for the quality of their products. I shared pictures of the sole and the insole that showed they had not been worn much but it made no difference to them. These are a summer shoe that have not had "extended use" as they claim, but still within 8 months are falling apart.

This time I bought a pair of Naturcontacts for someone else.
This time I bought a pair of Naturcontact shoes for someone else, my sister, for her birthday. Her feet are a different size to mine so I had to guess the best size for her but the desert boots fitted her perfectly. She loves them!
I have not received the book "The unknown secrets of barefoot shoes" but am not entirely sure if it is on ebook (that I can't see a link to) or an actual book as both are implied.

Poor quality and short life - good service
My Tracker Vegan Leather Barefoot Shoes fell apart in under two months of normal countryside dog walking. NaturContact dismissed this as “normal wear and tear” and only offered a replacement at lower cost. For £80 shoes, this quality and after‑sales support are unacceptable. Would not recommend.
Update: I’m pleased to say that after my original review NaturContact reviewed my case again and resolved it very professionally. They apologised for the issue, offered a free replacement pair or a refund of the warranty excess, and have now sent me a new pair of boots at no extra cost.
I really appreciate the proactive support and their commitment to putting things right. Hopefully, the new boots will will last longer than the original.

Naturcontact does not operate within the law: avoid
This company denied me my legal right to refund shoes that were not as I expected and when I insisted, told me I'd have to pay to return the shoes by post to China. They responded to my first review on TrustPilot using language intended to give the impression that they're a company using legitimate practices but don't be fooled. The Citizen's Advice consumer service have now referred my experience with Naturcontact to Trading Standards.

After wearing them for a while
After wearing them for a while, regular shoes start to feel tight and less comfortable in comparison. 🙂

not water resistant at all
The shoe was advertised as waterproof and is completely not even water resistant- lets water in on short damp grass. when i emailed them, they offered a waterproof spray, but then did not follow up- i have sent at least four emails since asking if i can review the prodcut and for a refund but they ignore me

Absolutely love these shoes
Absolutely love these shoes, so comfortable I don’t want to wear anything else now. Really excellent customer service and support, had a question about this newest order, emailed them this morning and it has already been sorted this afternoon! Thanks again Emily!
Poorly made please avoid
I bought the Chelsea style boot 5 months ago. They were really good, comfy, I wouldn't call them barefoot shoes as they a more narrow then I'd expect. I didn't wear them for work, I wore them for errands and some outdoor walking on the weekend and days off. They are already coming apart at the edges, the soles have worn down and they get absolutely soaked with a little bit water on the ground. I asked them for a refund as they advertise 12 month warrenty and ensure they are durable shoes. They have said its wear and tear essentially saying they don't expect the shoes to last 5 months, this is from the company themslesves. These shoes are of poor quality and poorly made. I would avoid.
In response to naturecontacts reply below -
I have used these shoes as you have intended them. I didn't wear them to work, I used them a handful of times for light outdoor walks, to be honest I didn't trust the waterproofing of the shoe to I didn't walk in wet areas with them, however, unavoidable in the uk. These are advertised as waterproof walking shoes and I have used them for less wearing tasks then this. You offer a 12 month warrenty and the website it full of ensurenace that the shoes are durable and hard wearing. They have not lasted 5 month of general use as advertised they are intended for. I wish I'd look at other reviews of trust pilot sooner as it seems others have had a similar experience.
Further more your offer was not a replacement but another pair for a discounted price. This is not a replacement, this shows your value is peddling poor quality shoes and not with the customer experince. There has been no apology of poor customer experince only proving me wrong as a customer. I would rather spend my money on a shoes that i know will last me more then 5 months. The website and advertising are misleading. They have not lasted 5 months of general use. This is not sustainable use of resources.

Sole coming off the shoe
I bought the Siberian Contact shoes and after a few weeks the sole started to peel off from the shoe. Otherwise it would have been a good comfy shoe.
I thought they might lose their shape…
I thought they might lose their shape fast, but even after months of regular use, they still look solid and feel just as comfortable.

They took a little getting used to at first, but after about an hour they felt surprisingly great.
False advertising, shoddy shoes and their guarantee is not worth anything - AVOID!
I bought some Vegan Tracker boots, advertised on their social media as “waterproof” with a 12 month guarantee.
Within a couple of weeks water from dew on the grass was entering the boots at the toes, where the upper joins the sole.
I contacted Naturcontact to advise and request a refund, as these were not fit for purpose (for context I wore them once a day, to walk my elderly dog for 25 mins, most of which was on dry paths and the boots only got wet from the grass when crossing a park for 5 minutes maximum). I was told that although the material was waterproof, the boots were not! So therefore they could just send another pair in exchange. I refused this (no point) and again asked for a refund….after all they have a 12 month guarantee! No, I was offered a different style of boot instead (which wasn’t waterproof either), but no refund.
I again requested the refund, explaining the usage the boots had had, and that their advertising was
misleading to say the least!
I then received an email from their legal department (yes, sure!) stating I could have the alternative boots or nothing. I again refused. The “legal department” then said they would take up legal action against *me* for harassment if I contacted them again! Case closed!!
So I would suggest that Trading Standards should be made aware of this company and their false advertising, threatening behaviour towards customers and shoddy sales techniques.
Thankfully my credit card company saw the evidence I submitted and claimed back against Naturcontact instead.
Avoid Naturcontact at all costs!

Good shoes but they falsely inflate…
Good shoes but they falsely inflate their prices with fake “sale” prices i.e. The shoes were never sold at that higher price, so I will not be purchasing from them again.
