We did our first trek with Nature Trail 25 years ago (Langtan) and this experience was so outstanding, that we wanted to come back to Nepal and show this beautiful landscape to our daughter. It was out of questions, that we would again travel with Nature Trail.
Bishnu organized perfect 5 weeks for us. Before we started Manaslu-Trek, Bishnu was our personal guide in Kathmandu and Bhaktapur and showed us the secrets of this fascinating cities.
Our Guide on the Trek was the best you could imagine: Dhruba made our trekking experience unforgettable. We met as strangers and we said goodbye as friends.
We highly recommend Nature Trail because Bishnu is always very reliable and has the best guides. We will come back again.

I recently had an almost 3 week stay in Nepal and Bishnu at the Nature Trail Travel and Trekking Company organised the itinary starting with a stay in Kathmandu at the lovely Hotel Pahen Chhen then a visit to Chitwan National Park, a trek to MBC in the Himalayas and then return to Pahen in Kathmandu before returning to the UK.
Flights, transfers, hotels, hostels, treks, guide and porter were all organised by Bishnu and his colleagues.
Bishnu was firstly available in person to discuss what we wanted and timings for everything given the season and other cultural factors. He was then at the end of a phone line when plans needed to be tweaked or if there were flight delays or other issues which needed to be sorted. He was always extremely helpful and ensured the smooth delivery of each part of our trip.
The guide and porter he provided were good company for our 8 day trek and were knowledgeable, attentive and patient - we were quite slow trekkers and presented them with various challenges which they embraced with good humour and understanding.
Vishnu’s hotel in Pahen Square has been tastefully renovated over the past few years and Bishnu described the renovation process and his aim to incorporate the old style architecture and design into the re-build.
The hotels location is right in the heart of a World Heritage Site of Pahan Square with various ancient temples, museum, galleries, cafes, bars, restaurants, interesting little stores and markets right on the doorstep. There were often cultural and religious activities taking place in the square which we could easily dip in and out of. Being in Latipur to the south of the city the hotel is away from the frenetic hustle and bustle of central Kathmandu, and was a welcome oasis of calm
and relative quiet in a pedestrian only area which is beautifully lit at night.
Besides all the above the prices charged by the company were fair and reasonable and our holiday experience was extremely good value for money.
For a comprehensive and professional vacation management experience in Nepal I would recommend the Nature Trail Travel and Trekking Company, Bishnu in particular and Hotel Pahen Chhen without hesitation.

In November I did a week-long expedition in Nepal with two friends and I used the services of Nature Trail. We were extremely satisfied. Bishnu from this agency organized everything perfectly including the challenging transfers, overnight stays and great local guides. The goal of our expedition was birdwatching, and thanks to the very experienced and helpful guides it was completely fulfilled.

I dont usually write reviews but for Bishnu I will make an exception. We wanted to go to Nepal but we didnt want to book everything ourselves, so we contacted Nature Trail. From the moment Bishnu picked us up from the airport to the moment he dropped us off, everything was perfectly booked by him. The nicest hotels in different parts of the country, all the driving was taken care off and we could always choose our favorite food because he knew every single restaurant and bar in Kathmandu and Pokhara.

Furthermore, he is very knowledgeable about the religions and temples which are in abundance throughout the cities.

So for anyone who would like a guided tour through Nepal, mount Everest or even Tibet, India (parts) or Bhutan, contact Nature Trail. You can, because of the flexibility of Bishnu, spend whatever money you like on hotels, restaurants, trips, helicopter rides or whatever. He can make the guide personally fitted for you.

We had a 20 day tour of Nepal, taking in Kathmandu, Pokhara, Gandruk, Sarangkot and Chitwan. All of the tour was organised with the help of Bishnu from Nature Trails. Together for about 6 months before the tour we messaged back and forth, until we had the ideal tour for us, that was suitable for our level of fitness and included the standard of hotels we liked. Bishnu personally guided our tour of the Kathmandu area and was invaluable in arranging things for us, even when we changed our minds at the last minute. He guided us with fantastic knowledge and just as importantly, he was street-wise to the scams that can happen to niaive tourists. I would thoroughly recommend Nature Trails and Bishnu as a fantastic way of organising a tailor-made tour of any part of Nepal.

Booking the Annapurna Circuit with Nature trail was absolutely the best experience I have ever had. They make an entirely tailor made trekking itinerary for you and couple you with extremely experienced guides. My guide had summit the Mount Everest twice and knew absolutely everything about the mountains. Most people I met during the trek were not always happy with their guides, but mine was a ‘sheerpa’ (someone who grew up in the mountains) which not a lot of companies offer. The name of my guide was Tenjeeng and I would highly recommend him, as we also had a lot of fun together. The contact with Bishnu, who manages the company, was easy and if I wanted any last minute changes or recommendations it would be possible.

Nepal was a fantastic experience for us, not only the mountains and the beautiful sunrises made an impression, but also the hospitality of our travel agency and the local population. Our guide Bishnu had a lot to tell! Highly recommended to discover Nepal with Bishnu!
