Let me book a flight. Charged me. Told me that they didn’t have enough info. Made me send proof and then told me they refused my account. Airline cancelled my flight. Now got to try and get money back.

Finally, a booking experience that is adequate for the 21. century. Great mobile application and link to your corporate credit card for expenses on the go. It's been a huge upgrade tbh.

After fully onboarding my company onto Navan, explaining the process and rules to employees, and completing the first few bookings, I got a "Notice of account suspension for unusual activity"
It is from a no-reply email address and says to contact support but provides no contact information and none can be found online either. They do not answer the "support" page form on with website.
These were routine hotel booking for my employees.
Stay away from this company, they will suspend your account at any time with no recourse.

There are a few things that would be great to have:
- ability to "pause" a credit card in the event an employee misplaces their card temporarily
- easier to navigate the "Accounting Review"
- ability to leave Admin notes on all transactions including refund/credits

I keep getting spam for this company.
I am not a company, this kind of spam is illegal in the UK.
The spam is being sent by credit for merchants, to advertise Navan's services.
If Navan are going to work with a known spamming company, they're as bad as the spammers.
Update following Navan's reply:
I will not reply to the illegal spam I received. Replying to spammers just makes things worse. Spammers don't care about the law, and if you reply (or click on any links), they'll know their emails are read, and they'll just send more - or sell the address to more spammers.
Presumably the spammers have some kind of affiliate relationship with Navan.

Overall, Navan is a great system for a one stop shop. As a small business, having the power to book all your travel requirements in one place using a single company card and the way you can create events and group travel is fantastic.
One of the best features I think is the central billing system, so all expenditure is added to an admin panel that lets you download pdf invoices for your accounting software. This alone has saved me many hours of work.
This is very US focused and as long as you can work around some of the forms and terminology it's not a big deal.
You may find the prices are not as cheap as booking direct, but I believe the convenience out ways the extra costs.

The user experience is great. I'm talking about the person booking the trip, taking the trip and submitting expenses. The admin experience needs to be improved. The amount of time spent with the data (reviewing, then "cleaning" for import into our finance system) is too much. Overall, Navan is a really good travel and expense system.

My experience with Navan has been excellent. I use the platform for both business and personal travel. What I like most is the time savings in booking travel all in one place and that all my travel related membership details are on the platform and are added to any travel that I plan. I literally can book trips in minutes that include, airfare, hotels and rental cars.
Once the trip is planned, I can then reference my upcoming trip on my Navan app on my phone and if necessary, reach out for support from friendly Navan support. I highly recommend using the platform.

Navan has really stepped up their customer service skills and it is appreciated. It is so easy to send my team on their to book their travel or for me to book when they don't have time. I am able to get invoices immediately, showing if a credit was used. The only thing I wish was more efficient, is getting receipts when Navan books using a third party, like Priceline. I do recommend this company based on ease of use and ability to keep employees accountable to take care of this part of their jobs. All travel information is sent directly to both them and I.
