The course was good, the company helpful with learning issues i had on a few topics. Some of the content is structured with unusual wording, but its a good course and happy to pass it. Get a good table and sharp pencil plus another ruler for the chart work!

Learning is always positive no matter age or experience I would suggest this course benefits from being completed within the initial timeline allocated as it maintains the momentum.
The course materials were good although I did find chart 5 was a little worse for wear after repeated use
I would also add that I also appreciated the ability to extend as I had unplanned health issues which made the initial plan not possible.

I learnt a lot with this course. Alan was very flexible with timing of the assessment. Every now and then I couldn’t find a definition in the glossary. One can look it up on the internet but you won’t always get the correct answer from AI assisted search engines!

Well constructed and interactive material, I enjoyed completing the course at my pace to fit work and life in. The team was helpful when I needed it and assisted the learning process. Learned lots and looking forward to putting some new navigation skills into practice.

Excellent on-line training material with well worked examples to guide you through the course. Challenging questions along the way with two comprehensive exams to conclude and ensure that the material has been properly understood.

It was a very thorough course and Alan was helpful when I needed guidance/support.

The course was very well laid out, and the coursework was comprehensive but very accessible. Alan was responsive and I absolutely would go with Navathome again for any theory work in the future.

Pretty good. The course was pitched at my level of prior knowledge (low). I had a little trouble downloading the video diagrams (slow) which may have been a signal problem at my end, although other videos were downloading at normal speed for me at that location.

Easy to follow, quick feed back

The modules were logically organised so that helped the studies. All the material for modules was well explained and understandable.

Examples provided a way to understand the principle and practices.

My constructive criticism is that for the integrated questions, i.e. that combined position fixing and tides, it went to assessment too quickly; and would have benefited with some further practice questions. The hints within the assessment were helpful, but if I was unsure and missing some key point then this did not resolve my uncertainty. So having a practice question for a muti-step problem that indicated where I was getting something wrong in the steps would be beneficial. Particularly on a step in the process, as opposed to just a matter of more accurate chart measurement.

I ordered the CEVNI booklet from Navathome, prior to doing the test through their website. I contacted Alan by phone and email with some questions, which were happily and clearly answered .

The course is very informative and is designed to thoroughly instruct and test your knowledge.

The organization of the course was excellent in that it taught you what you needed to learn first and every step compounded onto the last, with amazing interactive feedback systems, that would correct you in real time and the whole course felt like something that you could apply immediately to real life scenarios. It was a long time coming between my adventures out on the water and studying and exam revisions, but i would not have chosen any other program than the RYA Yachtmaster Offshore/Coastal Theory Package to help improve my knowledge & progress my carrier in the maritime world. Great programme, well constructed and informative. The questions were a great learning tool. Overall the whole course flowed smoothly with great communication from Alan.
