While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

Naviance owners fail to have basic human social skills and understanding

The maker of the tests on Naviance must not have exited their room in around 50 years. When asked what an example of a hobby is, if you pick 'Playing tennis', it is apparently incorrect? Inside Naviance tests there are many more issues like this where you will unfairly get an answer wrong because the makers of Naviance haven't interacted with other people since they were 6 and live in the ever-growing stench of their residence. CEO Stephen M. Smith smells like if a obese fish and a rotting can of spam had a child. He reminds me of Amou Haji.

Delete the App

This company is making it so the counselors don't have to do their job. Everything is being digitized now which sucks for students because nobody is organized. Personally, my counselors put any task imaginable on Naviance which clutters my to-do list. I can't for some reason mark a task as done even when I attach a file. NOTHING IS ORANIZED!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't tell what stuff is actually needed and which ones are required for me to graduate.

Extremely invasive

This company was recommended to us as students as a high school graduation requirement. The site is extremely hard to maneuver and assignments are extremely invasive of our privacy. Naviance takes your information from multiple school resources and asks a lot of questions about interests, colleges you are looking at, GPA, and personal data, including your location, phone numbers, email, and guardian information. The website asks a lot of questions about your personal life including what your friend's names are who you can trust and many more. This website does not seem like a good resource and I am deeply disappointed in both the UI and the benefits the system seems to have for my education. Naviance is too invasive and I strongly suggest looking at the privacy statement before using it as well.

Naviance should be deleted

Some schools have made this a graduation requirement, IT SHOULD NOT BE!!!!!! Naviance is INCREDIBLY invasive, and provides no real help. Also, this is a lot more work than what it replaced, so its going to prevent many from graduating because they FORGOT! This is absurd, the website should be deleted, the creators and the ones who put it in schools should be put under review.
