Technology finally caught up at a reasonable price.

Have wanted a robot mower for years, since the very first ones came out and haven waiting for technology and prices to catch up with my wishes. I think you have greatly succeeded. We live on a corner lot at the top of a hill. We have a yard that’s not flat, with several walkways, 5 large trees , several non-rectangular flower beds, with bushes along fences, some narrow strips of lawn between fence and sidewalks and a detached garage+storage shed. The first two spots where I placed the charging station at edges of lawn did not have a good enough GPS signal, so I decided to use the provided antenna. Took me almost two hours just to explore the edges of the property with the antenna placement feature of the app. Every highly recommended position either had no power available for the charging station or would have required that I string the antenna cable across a walkway or the driveway. After viewing the post about off-zone placement of the charging station and learning how to create a Chan el, I chose one of “light green” signal areas at the edge of a flower bed and was able to pass the self-check. I then spent almost 8 hours over three days mapping all the mowing zones, excluded zones and channels until I was satisfied with the results. Robot is now working very well.
I’m also very happy with the 60 minute recharge time — the indoor robots take three hours.

Auto mapping hasn’t worked

Auto mapping hasn’t worked
Couldn’t stop it from going to my neighbors several times and then ran out of time
Will attempt manual mode and forget about the advertised auto mapping
Also advertising zero turn so it doesn’t damage your lawn at certain scenarios
It should be re-written so it reads minimizes lawn damage since I had several spots already damaged

Shhhh! Don't tell anyone.

It doesn't mow as nice as my current mower, ... yet (e.g. treating tall weeds as obstacles to avoid). The software uses a lot power on my phone and is less than 100% intuitive for some features (e.g. how to mow manually, changing the mow height in a zone). For 1/2 the price of a new tractor, this is a no brainer. No gas, less maintenance, less labor, nice stripes. Suburbia is about to get a lot quieter on the weekends.

This mower is surprisingly impressive…

This mower is surprisingly impressive and easy to start using. I previously owned a Mammotion Luba for 2 days and it was terrible. I sent it back. The technology was awful. Fast forward a couple of years......I was very skeptical when buying this but I read a lot of great reviews. I also knew the technology has evolved quite a bit. I'm impressed. Zero issues. This thing is amazing

Super quick and easy mapping

Super quick and easy mapping. I’ve had 2 mows to date and it was effortless; pressed a button on the app to mow and off it went with no missed spot and a quality cut. Will be creating a couple more zones soon. My only concern to is the mower being powered on continually.

This X4 mower looks like a little go kart

The mower came in very quickly. The set up was easy. This thing looks like a go kart. It’s amazing! Been obsessed with it for the past five days… Getting my my zones, set up and perfecting them. The mow is amazing very even. I have a pretty large front yard and backyard plus a smaller side yard. With this lawnmower robot, I will be able to put my efforts to trimming the shrubs and little cleanup efforts. I live in an eight a zone in Northwest Georgia and this thing is super exciting.

The mower has performed exceptionally…

The mower has performed exceptionally well. Setup instructions were good. Programming yard with 4 zones was learnable. Have mowed entire lawn twice and has worked well. Only issue was it navigating from zone 1 to zone 2. Solved issue by cleaning pollen off of the cameras. My grass looks good. Running again tomorrow. Love having a freshly mowed look 7 days per week.

Wanted to return my unopened mower for…

Wanted to return my unopened mower for the X4. Never answered the phone, returned messages, responded to emails, chat never provided any actionable information. Today, finally got my return label after a 45 minute chat. Outrageous and sloppy!!

Game Changing Tech! Navimow X430!

I got the Navimow X430 and most recently the Garage X to protect it from the elements a bit more. Gotta say… I love this mower! Been waiting years for a product like this!
The mower seems very sturdy and has no problems with the bumpy terrain in my yard.
The cut quality has been top notch and with the right settings enabled it covers edges very well, leaving me with even less to weedeat then with my old standard riding mower.
My favorite thing about it has to be the tech in place though! The app has been excellent! I’m not running into any weird glitches or crashing so far. The automatic mowing schedule was easy to set up and small mowing adjustments like cut direction and height are simple to change.
Overall, it’s been one of the best purchases I have ever made!

Paid…and now in Limbo with no mower!

This could have been a glowing review of the new Navimow 2 Lidar robot mower….if only it had arrived. But it hasn’t and no-one has explained why, or what they are doing about it despite having taken my payment 8 days ago and despite many attempts both via email and via the Navimow Zen Desk chat bot/online agents to get some answers. The mower was despatched promptly on March 30 via UPS but got stuck en route due to a “hazardous material incident”. I alerted Customer Service who promised to look into it. When nothing happened I made contact via the Chatbot service and an apologetic Navimow agent escalated the problem to the Logistics team indicating that “wrong labelling or incorrect documentation” was the likely problem. OK…but how so? Surely Navimow sell and despatch multiples of their robotic mowers and clearly ought to have the labelling process honed to perfection. It is now over a week since I paid for the mower. Despite statements that this has been ‘escalated’ several times, I have been unable to get any other information and no one has taken the elementary step of emailing me with a meaningful update: what exactly went wrong, how did it happen, what are they doing to progress my purchase to delivery or to send out a replacement. It simply isn’t Customer Service Navimow should be proud of. I just want a substantive explanation and reassurance that this is being sorted PDQ. Isn’t that reasonable?

I have done as you ask - although I would stress that I have supplied that information on multiple occasions already to that email address and am surprised and perplexed that you are not already aware of it.
Further update: the Mower has finally arrived! Customer Support has been very apologetic and I realise that Navimow Logistics Division tried hard to resolve the problem, so I am grateful for that. I do hope that other customers have a less stressful experience!
