This is my sixth NavTool product since I’ve started using NavTool in 2003, product gets only better and better every year. The latest NavTool 6.0 works absolutely amazing. Wireless Apple CarPlay and android auto connects ultra fast and I don’t even have to take the phone out of my pocket. I have upgraded my three vehicles to 6.0 and I love it.
Always Fast shipping and always amazing customer service.
My favorite features would be the lifetime warranty and great technical support when I have questions about the product.
I fully support the product and NavTool and I recommend for anyone who is interested in getting amazing product on top of that it’s the only one to my knowledge that is made in the USA.
Every time when your version comes out I buy without any questions because it’s truly amazing.

I work for a local Mercedes dealership and NavTool is the only product that we are allowed to install into customer vehicles. I am a huge fan of the company I’ve got one of their CarPlay units in my 2015 Mercedes ML and it just mind blowing it makes my Mercedes feel just like if it was a 2022 model that I see in the show room every single day with that factory Apple CarPlay. Anyone wondering about the quality of the product I can tell you as a professional tech that it has outstanding quality and if they only allow us to install NavTool at the dealership there has to be a reason for it. I typically install 20 units every week and it’s always smooth as butter. And because I work on a lot of different Mercedes models some are as old as 2007 and some are 2018 Yes some 2018 don’t have CarPlay. And I always enjoy installing the product, if I have questions for tech-support I feel like they know more than some of my fellow technicians at the dealership. If it’s good for Mercedes dealership it’s good for you trust me I am master certified technician and I know what I’m talking about.

Amazing amazing amazing I’m very excited and happy with this product and not because it gave me Apple CarPlay but here’s the interesting thing that is a little bit mind-boggling to me. I’ve done research and to get CarPlay in my 2012 range rover however every company came across would send me like a manual if I wanted to see prior to purchasing. All products that are out there on the market sold me the same thing that I have to take apart my screen internally almost like surgery type of deal where I have to solder parts inside of my screen basically crazy amount of stuff I had to take my screen out and solder inside. With the NavTool it was plug-and-play. So I called navTool and ask why everybody else requires me to take my screen apart and solder some stuff inside of the screen and yours is plug-and-play. And they gave me an answer that made it out of sense. Every other product that I have looked at was made overseas and not only that they never seen the actual card that they made the product for they have no idea what they were doing. With NavTool it’s plug and play I do not have to dismantle my screen into tiny little pieces.I recommend the product to everybody and there is nothing else you can even find on the market that does the same thing it’s super unique so if you’re hesitant Before I can assure you that there is nothing like it out there when it comes to add an CarPlay that is truly plug-and-play

Very excited that I found this product but my Acura certified preowned and the dealer side sorry there’s no way to add CarPlay go to Best Buy, went to Best Buy Best Buy said there’s no way to change the radio but this company NavTool they make interfaces right here in the US. Went to their website found the product ordered it and to my surprise Best Buy doesn’t dilation of their products at the cheapest price compared to some of the other places that I have Visit for installation quotes.
Over the weekend I was and the local Acura car meet and some people had navtool competitor product installed in their acuras And we spoke about the differences and hear what I learned which I’m pretty excited to share because I didn’t know that.
It turns out that NavTool has a feature where you can see the camera in the CarPlay mode, nobody had an ability in their acuras to skip music with their steering wheel controls And last but not least NavTool uses vehicle factory microphone you do not need to install external microphone

If you are planning to buy a NavTool read this review. After reading a bunch of reviews on various sides I had mixed feelings about the products however nobody else made a product for my vehicle. I have a Lexus RX without factory navigation and no other company had any solution to add Apple CarPlay to my vehicle. Ordered my product online and received it swiftly.
Here is my recommendation to everyone do not read manual prior to receiving the product because without having all the parts in your hands you will do the same mistakes that I have done.
I have studied the manual prior to receiving the product thoroughly a few times. So when the product finally arrived I just went I had with installation thinking that I remember all the steps from the manual That I have studied recently. That was a huge mistake because after connecting the product nothing worked I have immediately called the tech support and I was referred to see step number four in the manual To fix my problem that I have explained over the phone, as soon as I opened the manual I realized ha ha that’s exactly what I’ve done wrong.
Mistake number two is do not do installation Friday night when you’re tired and it’s dark outside, do it in the daylight.
After following the manual and installing everything as I was expecting it to work based on my experience with other CarPlay in other Vehicles.
I was doing a research in the period of almost a year for different brands to figure out where to get one for my car at the lowest price, NavTool was not the lowest price but here are the features that I learned throughout my research that are unique only to NavTool.
NavTool is the only product in my research that is always plug-and-play. NavTool is definitely the only product that provides a lifetime warranty everybody else that I have asked for CarPlay integration I only provided one year warranty. NavTool is the only company that makes it in the USA I’ve researched all of their competitors and none of them were American made.
But here’s what my research actually concluded which I think is the most important point for anybody who is going to be reading my review, none of the competitors had a technical support team to help you, because prior to purchasing I was actually trying to speak to tag people and ask them questions and they were clueless it seem like this people just kind of resellers to bring this product from China or wherever it’s made.
So far I’ve been using this product for almost 5 months with zero issues I highly recommend it and it gets my stamp of approval.

After ordering my first NavTool, and using it without any problems, I want to head and ordered a second my second navtool for my wife’s car.
Just like the first NavTool I have received it pretty fast and customer service is amazing as always. Very important part for me is that the technical support is pretty much just like if somebody was sitting next to you in the car while you’re doing the installation and pointing a finger where to plug in and west to do.
The game changer is the wireless Apple CarPlay, it’s really nice that I can get into my car car, start the car and drive away and don’t even have to plug it in again. I Continue to have the phone in my pocket at all times now.
I go to my local car meets and I see that other people have some other brands their cars installed and I noticed a pattern of issues that I do not have with NavTool.
First of all, everyone is complaining that the steering wheel controls don’t work, and my nap till fully support steering wheel controls. Another problem that I noticed that everybody who had the CarPlay installed in the car me that wasn’t the navtool brand have complained that they had to install extra microphone, with NavTool I did not have to install external microphone it uses factory car microphone.
So basically, after speaking to a few guys at the car meet, they realize that they have to swap their CarPlay out for the NavTool to get all the bells and whistles.

Best of the best products, trying to get cheaper version from ebay and regret it instantly, no support no nothing, for navtool and dinnsky I have CarPlay in both my cars.
My Lexus 2020 now has CarPlay. I still cannot believe that they made a 2020 vehicle without CarPlay. My 2016 Range Rover also now has Apple CarPlay, it’s so weird that brand new cars never had CarPlay while a rental Chevy in 2015 already had CarPlay.
So I was looking to add CarPlay to my car for a long time and they typically buy my stuff from Amazon or eBay and everything I tried was pure job. NavTool worked so good right out of the box. Highly recommend this product and keep in mind it’s actually made in the USA with USA. Based support and lifetime warranty truly truly great product. I couldn’t be happier.

I bought NAVTOOL for a NISSAN ROUGE SL 2015 to add the CarPlay and Android Auto. NAVTOOL bought on Sept 8 2022. After installing it I had to call many times and spend hours on the phone to get support since the Reverse Camera was not working. They had me cut wires, they had to wire different ones, and then unwired those ones, wire back the ones they asked me to cut, etc, etc, but all the time claiming their products are the best, guarantee, they sell millions to Auto Industry, bla, bla, bla. They had me connect the interface to a laptop and their website to download different and several programs, install this one, did not work, install this other one did not work. Seems they are always guessing but they sell you the story they have millions sold and that they sell to OEM manufacturers, obviously is not true, since they guess all the time and I had to spend 2 hours on the phone to get things resolved but they tell you they have done it before. The interface has to be used with a Remote Control, your original screen even being a touch screen will not work with the interface as touch screen or swipe, all apps from CarPlay or Android Auto has to be ran from the Remote Control that has to sit in your cup holder, so one has to become a master of that Remote to get it working. All phone calls and "OK Google" or "SIRI", you need to have the Car in AUX in order to work, you set your car in different mode and you won't get anything. You can't have it in regular FM radio or other, otherwise it won't work to make calls or ask google or siri. If you try to use your Steering Controls, they will not work, all must be done from the Remote Control, the only steering control will be volume. That remote is hard to use when you are driving, it is very distracting, you have to learn how to use the knob, dial, press, press up, press down, press back , etc. Not worth the money and time.
In addition they downgraded my warranty because of my review, this is what they sent to my text and e-mail: "Navtool - Your lifetime warranty has been downgraded to minimum mandated 30 day warranty, and future CarPlay/Android updates will be only available for the next 30 days."

Navtool for my land rover and my wife’s bmw money spent wisely. I drive 2017 Range Rover HSE my wife drives 2014 BMW X6 and both vehicles don’t have CarPlay, both cars are low mileage and trading them in makes no sense. These cars do not allow you to change the radio to aftermarket one Basically I was stuck with what I had there. Then I started doing my research, first I ordered some USB dongle from somewhere and company and realized that they only work for cars with factory CarPlay etc.
So finally I came across NavTool And I was like let me just order one for my car and test it out, order it Monday arrives couple days later installation is plug and play Works like a charm. Now I said let me order one for my wife’s car since it’s working perfectly in my car. Ordered one for my wife’s car got it in a couple days later, went to install it needed a question answer by tech-support I found out the support is superknowledgeable and easy to get a hold of, for my carpet secretly I didn’t need any support for some reason it just works smoothly but I guess that’s because I also work on my car all the time.
If anyone wants Apple CarPlay or Android Auto Just getting off till I have already searched high and wide nothing is there

I bought a used car from my favorite Range Rover dealership, the dealership recommended me to some company that I can’t remember the name because it made no sense and I ordered the product for my range Rover they required me to take my screen apart when I received it. The manual for the product told me that I should have a soldering gun it was insane. So I sent it back and I was like I’m not taking my car screen apart and soldering inside because the dealer told me that you should not solder anything inside of your screen. Then I contacted few other companies and they all told me the same thing they make the kid but I have to open up my radio and solder inside. Finally after a Google search I found NavTool called them up right from their website it’s actually amazing that I was able to call them right from the website and speak to them right from my MacBook, I asked them if they have a product for my range rover, they said yes I asked them if I have to solder inside of the screen? NavTool representative sounded like he was shocked. He told me that we would never sell anything that requires any soldering and it’s only 100% plug-and-play products that they sell. I said here’s my credit card they said we cannot take the credit card over the phone but they sent me a link to order I placed an order online. Three days later I got it in the mail open the box and the product looks nothing like the other companies are offering. It looks like just plug and play harnesses no loose wires, everything looked just like I expected it to be. Spend Saturday afternoon installing it works perfect and I did not have to open up my screen I am not sure why this other companies are thinking selling product that requires soldering. NavTool is truly a different scale with the products that they offer. If you don’t want to end up in my shoes and order stuff that don’t work I would recommend going straight with navtool by passing all the other companies because it’s not eveby comparable to the NavTool

I made a purchase online on the beloved eBay and then I called NavTool for support and they told me that I purchased a fake one, they said that they only sell original on their website. Then I was reading reviews and some people that complain about the product I read on this website hear that they purchased NavTool and couldn’t get support and in the reply NavTool said that they didn’t purchase the original one. So I also learned that the hard way that on eBay there a knock offs not original. Basically send the purchase back to the eBay seller and got one directly from navtool.com. Shipping was FedEx air for free. I was surprised that it arrives so fast and the FedEx airbox with the FedEx air tracking number, because they are in New York and I am in Cali and I thought it’s going to take Couple of weeks to get here but to my surprise two days later FedEx rang my bell. Product requires installation but it came with plug and play harnesses that I simply plugged in behind the glove box which was pretty much 30 minute install. So far it’s my third month using it, works as advertised I got it with free Apple CarPlay deal that they had on their website when I get into the car I don’t even have to take the phone out of my pocket. I got Google maps finally on the car screen instead of having the phone in my hand I’m able to control it with a factory touchscreen Just like in my buddies car that has CarPlay from factory. I have done some research and found out that CarPlay is actually only inside of my phone that’s why when I switch my phone from my work car to my personal car to a rental when I was on vacation and the experience is the same and all my apps that I have downloaded to my phone appear the same in the rental or in my car .

After reading many reviews online I have mixed feelings about this product, however the two previous brands that I have tried in my range rover required both of them to take apart my screen into little pieces and solder something inside. NavTool told me that the product is 100% plug-and-play so I gave it a shot since I really want to CarPlay and I wasn’t about to take my screen apart. I placed an order and got a few days later, here’s the few things that you should know first of all it was 100% plug and play is advertised, second thing is that we created a video call when needed help with the guy named Andy who works there. Basically the same Jolene by text message from Mod 1 click you’re connected by video. Product works amazing using factory touchscreen in my Range Rover and the main point is that I did not have to take apart my screen. Before ordering I called NavTool and asked why reviews are mixed on the website here on trust pilot, they told me that people do not follow installation recommendation. I ended up being one of the people that does not follow the instructions because I just throw them out as soon as I get the product thinking that it should just work and I can figure it out better than any man oh I guess cause I’m old-school. Not only that product is a plug in play but on top of that it’ Made in the USA And what I didn’t realize in the beginning that it comes with a lifetime warranty. I did some research found out that NavTool has been in business since 2002 so company that’s been in business for 20 years I trust their lifetime warranty. Well I’m very very happy about the product simply because all the other options required me to take the screen apart and this one does not

Do not trust this company. Your return window will close before you receive anything and when you finally get in touch with a human, the answer will be sorry, it’s too late to refund your money. Avoid these scammers! My next course after contacting the NY Attorney General will be small claims court.
***The remainder of this post is after Navtool replied to my above posted review. Since they decided to reply by posting my contact info, I’ll give anyone who is considering giving money to this company the details they want to distort. ***
I’m response to Navtool’s blatant attempt to be petty and post my contact info, that should tell anyone what they need to know about this company. I only wish their customer service were as fast as their response to my honest, extremely poor experience with them.
I bought this unit in November of last year as a Christmas present for my son. I didn’t try and install it until after Christmas as a result. After several attempts to successfully install it and get it to work by myself, I then started contacting Navtool’s “customer service”. Every way to contact them directs you to a text or messenger based reply, which isn’t helpful when you need love tech support. I did finally manage to get in touch with a real life person that had technical knowledge and they even did a video chat with me to try and get it working. After several further attempts to get it working, without success, I was told to request an RMA for a refund, which is better than just being out the money for sure. Unfortunately, the person who would actually provide a refund refused to do so hiding behind a very small refund window. I put the part of my initial review about the refund window closing before you could even try it based on what I’ve since found online from others (easy google search will show this) to try and warn others. While I failed to see the tiny return window when ordering, rather focusing on the seemingly false “lifetime guarantee” that’s plastered all over the website, it would seem to me to be a fair business practice to honor a full refund when the product that is very plainly listed to be compatible with my 2013 Jeep Wrangler is in fact incompatible. Even if I had tried to install it the day it showed up, I contend with the amount of time between my many attempts to get technical support and the end result of being told they don’t know why it won’t work and there was nothing more they could do would have been outside of the return window all the same. Net result is I gave them money, they sold me a product that was not able to do what they advertise it to do, they refuse to issue a refund and also refused to reply to the NY State’s Attorney General’s office, who suggest I take them to small claims court.

***Update January 27,2023****
From out of nowhere, Navtool replied to my post from months ago stating I purchased this from a 3rd party, which is 100% untrue. I bought this directly from Navtool and if you’ve gotten this far, you already know the rest of the story. Unbelievable. I have since bought a replacement head unit for my Jeep since this product obviously wasn’t going to ever work as advertised and I have resigned myself to have been scammed from Navtool. Buyer beware is all I can say at this point. Just sad really. Do yourself a favor and buy from a legitimate company and avoid these dishonest folks.

Originally I wanted to change the radio in the car, however nobody was able to do it. After a Google search I found NavTool. Digging in time figure out what exactly I will need to buy I’ve learned that it’s sold is a complete kit so it’s all parts in the box once you receive it.
Purchase online and thank you FedEx he lost it. Right away they shipped me another one. All in all I got it five days later. Customer Service gets a 10 out of 10.
Once I received the product for my range rover I went ahead with installation. Went to their support website and Got the manual which is super easy follow along.
In the end I have wireless Apple CarPlay in my car it also supports Wireless Android Auto I was able to add front and rear cameras because my car does not have any cameras plus I’m using HDMI input for my iPad.
Overall great product amazing customer support highly recommend it.

Navtool fast shipping ia very impressive, I’ll be honest im kind of biased because I truly love the product. Navtool gives me apple CarPlay and my wife can use Android auto, yea don’t ask she loves her Android. I’m really not sure what people are complaining about. I placed and order midway and FedEx delivered it Wednesday. Andy from tech support was beyond amazing, don’t take my work for it call and ask for Andy. Installation is extremely simple it’s all plug and play. I was done in one hour.

If you’re reading this review hopefully I’m saving you time and money and you don’t repeat my mistakes. I have wasted time trying to get other brands to work in my vehicle, I’ve tried three enough to competitors and they all have the same problem they did not work. I was trying to save couple of dollars and get something that cheap and use my CarPlay., Well unfortunately I learned that it doesn’t exist. Basically two out of three companies sent me exactly the same product with a different sticker on top it was ridiculous. Later on in my research I’ve learned that they basically bring the stuff from overseas and put labels with their company names on top of it but it’s all the same garbage. So with NavTool I finally decided to spend the money and get it. I was surprised when I arrived I didn’t realize that it was made in the USA and came with a lifetime warranty so that’s a big one. Installation was a breeze and it actually worked as soon as I installed it as it comes with detailed manuals that are easy to follow for somebody who is a do it yourself like myself.

Wake me up I am dreaming about the CarPlay in my car, wake me up I am dreaming about CarPlay in my car. Actually I am not dreaming. I had a dream to add CarPlay to my car and everybody was telling me that I have to change the radio but there is no way to change the radio in my car. So when I give up going to professionals I decided to the research myself, apparently I didn’t have to go far with my research my cousin actually had already one in his car for a year. I always thought that his CarPlay was installed at the factory I didn’t realize that it was CarPlay from NavTool. Long story short I have CarPlay for a couple of months in my car and couple of months of joy in my life.

I was a little bit skeptical because a lot of mixed reviews online, I decided to go to Best Buy to see what they have for my car to add Apple CarPlay. To my surprise Best Buy installation technician I recommended me to get NavTool for my vehicle. Basically long story short Best Buy told me that if I was to buy directly they will install it for me, apparently Best Buy installs products that they don’t even sell. So I scheduled my installation got my NavTool on order. My appointment was scheduled a couple weeks out so there was plenty of time for me to get the interface, I got the interface in the mail via FedEx and took it to Best Buy on the installation date. Three hours later and $150 was the deal. Now I have Apple CarPlay in my vehicle That to my surprise works identical to what my friends vehicle have that have factory installed CarPlay. I thought it was going to be something different but as much as I was explained by Bas by technician dad CarPlay is the CarPlay is a CarPlay it doesn’t matter whether it’s factory installed or from NavTool or from Sony. I honestly can’t even tell that my car never had CarPlay, nothing new was added to the car I control it using my touchscreen it’s like it was always there. Best money I ever spent on the car upgrade

Reply from NavTool
This is the most amazing thing that could happen to me, I was about to trade my car in just to have Apple CarPlay but with Current cars on prices it’s ridiculous. My dealer was definitely telling me that there is no way to add Apple CarPlay, what I learned is that dealers have no idea whether CarPlay can be added or not because they just sell whatever parts they have at the dealership. I’ve found NavTool from a YouTube video place the order on their website and got it delivered by FedEx the next day which was a nice surprise. Now I have to install the part and I don’t really want to take it anywhere to get it done since it’s all plug and play anyway. Navtool have amazing video how to take your vehicle apart and install their devices. If you’re going to contact them make sure you somehow ask to speak to Andy, this guy I think is some kind of wizard of technical support he answered all my questions and help me do installation in 15 minutes. Now that I’ve use this system for a little bit I’m confident in the product that’s why I am writing my review and a recommendation to anybody who is looking to get one. One thing that you should know is that the CarPlay entirely lives inside your phone because I just recently went on vacation and rented a car and same apps appeared in the rental. Basically I learned that NavTool or the Chevy that I rented they all have just the CarPlay interface but the CarPlay system updates only inside your phone so that’s super convenient because now I can take it from one car to another and have all my apps already preset. Prior to purchase I actually research some of their competitors or alternatives, what I did learn is the following NavTool is the only one that I found to be made in the USA comes with a lifetime warranty and they have been in business since 2002. The main advantage of navtool system is that it uses all your factory controls, they are the only company that I was able to find that allows you to use factory vehicles microphone for calling without the needle installing external microphone everybody else said I will need to install a small microphone. Basically you get Apple CarPlay in your car and there’s really not much to it straight forward.

don't waste your money, i give them 1 star and i dont know somehow they are able to delete my review,
so that why i writing my review again, so that peoples should know how they treat their customer and rip them off,
Ok, long story -short,
After installed their product it worked 1 day, next day whole unit went black out, no light, nothing it just freeze, then went back to my installer, he spent 2 hr to fixed but no luck, i contact Navtool, they replied after 2 days n said no issue with out product, and finally after a week they agree for exchange n asked me to fill up the form, but everytime i filled up n send them back, they replied me exchange or return declined, i tired more than 3-4 times n always same declined , declined 😡, i paid $500 Usd
For the product n then bloody $300 aud for the installed,
And after i write review then they send me the message, u need to update ur software, What the heck?? Why they send the product if that need software update in a week, r u serious???? Do you think we Customer have time to wait 2-3 weeks for your reply and conclusion, and then drive the car with faulty unit (with no light nothing)
N also they asked me to delete my review so that they can update my software, otherwise they cant unlock my account 😂😡
Reply - i know sometime you need to update the software, but do you think i have time or even my installer have time to wait for your software update call (which is after a 2 weeks i complain for your product is not working)??? Do u even know how much they charge per hour? I just waste $300 for installed
N u installed your unit,
And what is the reason that before buy the product we get reply in 2 mins, but after buy the product if any probelm, then get reply after a 2-3 days even sometime a week. Is that how u treat ur customer.
