Neil is a great driving instructor! He was very chill the whole time so it made the experience less stressful. Just making the whole experience feel really relaxed.

I will definitely be recommending him to anyone who asks for a driving instructor!

Genuinely could not have asked for a better driving instructor. I had three instructors over my time learning to drive and Neil smoked them all.

He was reassuring and encouraging throughout. His funny and chatty nature made me feel so at ease. If i ever didn’t understand something, he was patient and would always take time to explain things in different ways that worked for me.

I passed my test on the first try around 3 months ago now, and have not crashed or had any near misses so far, so his methods must work.

10/10 would recommend ❤️

Neil is an excellent driving instructor, and helped me prepare to pass my driving test, first time, after about 20hrs of tuition. Neil is very personable and friendly, and has many great strategies to help you gain confidence and learn good driving skills for the test and beyond. I would highly recommend Neil to anyone learning to drive.

I can’t recommend Neil highly enough as a driving instructor. From the very first lesson, it was clear that he is incredibly patient and genuinely committed to helping his students succeed. He has a great way of breaking everything down into clear, manageable steps, which made learning to drive feel far less overwhelming and much more confidence-building.

Neil takes his job seriously and it really shows in how thoroughly he prepares his students. He’s calm, supportive, and understands how different students learn - whether that’s talking through it before or just giving it a go. Most importantly, he wants his students to do well and puts in the effort to make sure they’re not just passing a test, but becoming safe, confident drivers for life.

I recently passed my driving test and honestly couldn’t have done it without Neil! Even though I was a bit nervous when I first started lessons, he made me feel really comfortable and helped build my confidence every step of the way. We are extremely grateful to Neil, that in a short period of time, my son was ready for his practical driving test in Autumn, passing the first time as well.

My friend was also asking me, if we have any recommendations for driving instructors, as their daughter was looking for a new one, following some bad experience with the previous one.
Of course, we recommended Neil and they were very thankful for that, as their daughter had only nice words to say about Neil's style of teaching to drive. Amazingly, she passed 1st time earlier this month.

Neil was an amazing instructor for the time I was with him. After previously being with two other instructors before I can say Neil was a breathe of fresh air! He is very understanding and patient and will always make you feel at ease even if you make mistakes. He made me feel very comfortable in the car and felt safe to ask anything (no matter how silly). I spent most Saturday mornings laughing rather than being nervous! I’m passed first time and wouldn’t have done it without the cool, calm, collected and funny Neil!! Thank you!

I highly recommended N C Driving Tuition! My daughter had a bad experience before coming to Neil Clemerson. Neil regained her confidence completely! Neil is very patient with a good sense of humour, he is very good at adapting to the pace of your learning in order for you to gain confidence in your driving abilities. My daughter had Neil as a driving instructor for around 7 months and passed her driving test first time. She had a really positive experience on learning how to drive and because of this is now a confident driver thanks to Neil.

He is super friendly, patient, encouraging, makes you feel comfortable and explains all the confusing bits of driving really clearly - thank you so much 😊

I switched driving instructors after a failed test as I wanted someone with a little more experience to help me feel more confident. Neil is an excellent instructor. Neil is very personable and cheerful, you can expect to be called "mate" and told about Beth and Mike the mirrors. He is also very methodical. He takes his time, pays attention to the support you need, and has clear goals in mind when preparing for the driving test. I passed my test at the next attempt thanks to his help and have been driving around safely for a month now.
