We have had a very disappointing…

We have had a very disappointing experience with NCET2. First of all, they advertise themselves an outlet for startups to find investors; yet, they have high fees making them out of reach for many startups ($600 to sign-up to attend a meeting!) Second, more than once we felt their communication with us had other hidden pieces or motives. Third, we found its leadership to be a group of investors far more interested on how much money "they" would make, rather than creating a win-win situation for both themselves and a start-up; ultimately they appeared very unreasonable while aimed at courting us into a horrible deal; (when we discussed with other experts in the field the offer they made to us, most everybody called their offer "ridiculous".) In short, we regret we were fooled, spending time and efforts into dealing with NCET2. It did not turn out to be what it advertised itself to be. I suggest you save your time and money, pursue other outlets (such as NREL-IGF or many others), esp. if you are a tech start-up.
