Really pleased so far! The A level History of Art course is a delight to go through and has encouraged me to research around the topics as I go. Great student support and amazing materials.

I only have good things to say about the NEC - the history a level course is great, the website is easy to use and my tutor is so helpful. Everyone I have been in contact with or have asked for help has responded really quickly and has done their utmost to help me. The course gives me just the right amount of flexibility whilst having some structure. I would recommend the NEC to anyone, it is amazing and great value. So glad I took the chance and enrolled!

I don't know what this is meant to be about. If it is enrolment and ability to access the website - that was OK. But the site itself is difficult to navigate. My first frustration being an inability to access what I take to be a proforma for Assignment 1 (ie the profile of me added to my study plan) I have not bothered, simply writing an email containing my profile to my tutor which he seems to have found acceptable in spite of my omitting my study plan.It isn't a good start.

NEC offices are very helpful however their courses are clearly not fit for purpose. Having paid thousands of pounds for 8 GCSEs our daughter - who was on course to get at least grade 7 for all her subjects when she left school because of anxiety just over a year ago - has achieved three passes and 3 fails. She is absolutely devastated and can’t progress to sixth form. Please think twice before using these people.

New student experience.
I am only a few weeks into my ALevel, as a mature student, and so far the experience has all been positive.
Communication with my tutor has surpassed my expectations and I am looking forward to the rest of the course.

Once you get used to the style of the online courses, it's an absolute breeze to complete the course. Research facilities are excellent and information is completely correct. This enables you to think in a specfic way and complete assignments in a full manner.
I will be doing more courses once I've finished the Art History course

I have used NEC before but was not able to complete the course. It was not an exam course. NEC have enanled me to return and complete at a lower fee. Very enjoyable course and thanks to them

Great course, History of Art, I've learnt so much and am so fascinated by the subject. Great course material with a tutor that has helped me progress.

A good service, some courses differ from others though, in terms of pdf length and detail, which can be extremely annoying.
On a more positive note, you get a lot for your money, including an all time access, no matter whether it is day or night you can still study with NEC.

I haven't been able to access my course due to limited IT skills. I can accept that that is my problem. However, what is harder to accept is that because I have not been able to do my introductory assignment I am unable to access the course material. I paid a lot of money for my course so I don't think it unreasonable to have access to the course material. I have now signed on with an alternative provider - not the same subject. The course material is hard copy and very well written, I have not only a personal tutor but a named student advisor. Best of all the course is considerably cheaper than the same course delivered by NEC!

I have found my learning experience with NEC nothing short of exceptional. I am studying A-level Maths and the course material has been clear and comprehensive, and the support from my tutor has been exceptional throughout. Each piece of work I have submitted has tested all aspects of the course material, making sure I have covered absolutely everything, and the feedback has been prompt (by the following day) and extremely helpful in understanding where I have gone wrong as well as reassurance for what I have done right.
Arranging exams has been unbelievably straightforward, as NEC arranged everything for me with one of their exam centres. For the little extra that it cost for NEC to arrange this, it took all of the stress out of arranging my exam, giving me more time to study. Worth every penny!
I could not be more impressed with how NEC have dealt with the unprecedented situation of the Coronavirus outbreak. As the situation developed they were always updating me as soon as information was available, and I always felt that they had my best interests at heart at every step. NEC haven’t left me not knowing what is happening and all communications with them have been clear, with all of my questions and concerns answered promptly. With summer exams being cancelled, by offering Centre Assessed Grades NEC are making sure that any future applications are not delayed and students are not left waiting for exam centres to reopen in order to get a grade.
Overall, my experience with NEC has been fantastic, and I would recommend them to anybody considering distance learning. The quality of teaching and everything else is simply superb!

Staggeringly simple solution to my child struggling with the change of learning pace at sixth form. She found independent school sixth form to be very different to GCSE. Far fewer lessons. Lots of hanging around. Too much common room time and not enough study. It became obvious the fees did not represent value for money. When I phoned NEC I was staggered at the low cost and high concentration of information. It has proven an ideal solution for us. If you or your child likes independent learning at home but with the back up of a tutor - this is the the low-cost, high-effect way to go. Phew. If you are used to paying independent school fees, the switch to NEC will put your bank account into ecstasies.

Very comprehensive course with a variety of course materials.

It is a good website, though It is unclear on how to be able to re-do questions which I got wrong - that is my only complaint about it .

My choice of the NEC was a very fortunate one in my opinion. I think the NEC is very organised and a splendid example of a first-class on-line learning college.
I have been using the NEC since the 80s and found them very professional and reliable. I would also like to say a big thank you to the tutors, my experience is that they are excellent, adaptable, and very helpful.
I don’t know if its permissible but I would like to say a word of praise for my present tutor MS Simone King, who I find excellent to work with. John

Very understanding of my daughters situation and difficulties for which I’m very grateful.
I think the GCSE courses are great value though probably not the cheapest available but most certainly worth every penny.
My daughter intends to stay with the NEC for her A levels so she’s clearly happy too.
