Chocolate is foul
Used to love nestle chocolate, Munchies used to be amazing but now they’re foul! Got a munchies Easter egg and the chocolate egg is also disgusting. Judging by the reviews, I’m not the only one who thinks it’s changed so much for the absolute worst. Will never buy again
Yorkie bar fake chocolate
Its taste horrible now! I always bought it as my favour chocolate bar but sorry no any more its not chocolate anymore !!!
After Eight mints, chemical taste filth.
After Eight mints. Absolute filth. A chewy fondant inside with a weird chemical taste. Inedible. So bad I spat it out.
They killed toffee crisp
What the hell have they done to the toffee crisp! It's flat, it's tiny! RIP! It's amazing how they can take what was a great chocolate bar and ruin it with shrinkflation.
Got food poisoning eating out of date…

Awful quality
First quality street of the year and so disappointed with quality !! Definitely deteriorated- would not buy again
Nestle need to up your game !!
Absolutely inferior chocolates too what…
Absolutely inferior chocolates too what they used to be. Drab packaging look cheap taste cheap. No quality here.
Will not purchase another quality street in my life. Theyre that bad.
Nestle just show contempt for their customers.
Shrinkfiation is now being taken to absurd levels by Nestle, a once great brand being driven into the ground.
Like millions of people, After Eight mints have been a part of Christmas for 60 years. Not next year, they won’t.
The rank deviousness of shrinking the size of an After Eight mint by about 1/3, *without* changing the size of the slip envelope or the box, is just showing total contempt for their dwindling number of customers.
We all know that chocolate has got hugely expensive recently, but this nonsense is just beyond taking the ****.
Shame on them.
(I’d share a photograph here if I could)
What have these idiots done with…
What have these idiots done with munchies and the purple one? Are they mad? I won't buy these again. I suspect that every other previous fan won't buy them either.
Warning Quality Street is no longer quality
Quality Street is no longer quality. Smaller tubs, smaller quantity in tubs, smaller chocolates and totally different recipes. Disgusting ! Flavours, ingredients and, most of all, the chocolate itself have all changed very much for the worse. A product I loved has been taken over and destroyed. A warning should be put on the packaging.
Very disappointed
Very disappointed! Used to love nestle chocolate for Christmas, but this year it's disgusting, waxy chocolate and off tasting fillings. Milky bar tastes like a play dough, kit kat has some nasty taste, even the lion bar is ruined. Quality street is a disgrace!
Walnut whip,what has happened.I…
Walnut whip, what has happened.I recently purchased a rather pricey pack of these.I had not had one for years and they always used to be my late mums favourite. They had a shiny new wrapper not the see through one that used to tease you with the whip waiting to be devoured by the lucky purchaser.Well I can't quite express my disappointment when I unwrapped this insignificant little cone. With it's pitiful thin chocolate not that chunk that you enjoyed biting through and the fondant was a sloppy mess not the decadent cream that used to greet you once you had bitten through that delicious thick chocolate. No sorry this is not fit to be called a walnut whip anymore, maybe they should rebound as walnut flip ,no wonder they now package in a foil you can't see through, never mind I can safely say I won't be buying again.Great shame another one bites the dust
EXTREMELY POOR QUALITY QUALITY STREET
This review is about the Nestle Quality Steet product. This product has hit rock bottom in my opinion. Nearly all the chocolates have a hint of orange about them and the taste overall is awful. This brand used to be synonymous with all things joyful.......................for me that's not the case any more. It's probably going to take a whole lot of effort from Nestlé to get this brand back to the elevated heights it used to be. I tried to provide, direct to the company, some feedback but they have made it so difficult to even do that I gave up. So all in all an extremely poor product experience and an extremely poor customer feedback experience.
They got rid of the Caramac
They got rid of the Caramac, and it was the only product of theirs I loved. Stupid, idiotic decision and proves they don't know what their customers want.
Gone down hill with variety quantities
Very very disappointed after buying a 2k tin of quality Street at £27 the variety in the tins are all over the place (8 choc blocks ) (11 green triangles) (12 the purple ones) (20 caramel swirls) (22 strawberry delights) (14 orange crunch) (25 toffee pennies) (27 coconuts eclairs) (23orange creams) (23 toffee fingers) (fudge 22) lots of coconut 27 then 8 choc blocks really this is terrible then to top it off the tin was under weight as I weighed the tin on its own 340g then I zero the scale and then added all the chocolates to the tin the total weight was 1.880 not 2k so I’m not happy at all this will be the last tin I buy I will be going over to Cadbury‘s roses next year, I did contact nestles and this was there response to me
Thank you for getting in touch.
We're sorry you've been disappointed with Quality Street. We do our very best to ensure that every tin contains a good selection of sweets and that you will get your favourite sweets in the selection. We don’t give exact numbers for individual sweets as the contents can vary. We know that Quality Street fans feel very passionately about their favourites, so we ensure there is something for everyone within the mix.
We also have to consider that we are keeping the weight, nutritional value and cost of each tub steady so that the on-pack labelling is accurate and consistent.
I hope that this answers your question and that you and your friends and family will continue to enjoy Quality Street.
Kind Regards,
Update to above I received a voucher for the under weight tin of £3 so I go to Sainsbury’s and guess what they did not except the voucher I will now contact citizens to give them the information so it can be passed on just terrible
Decided to buy a actual tin of quality…
Decided to buy a actual tin of quality street this year, opened it up and the majority of sweets were toffees there was 6 strawberry creams and 3 Orange cream's, I was furious, so I rang nestle and was told to take the tin to the post office and send it back to nestle, this was going to be at my cost , they offered to refund the cost of the postage after they had received the tin and looked at it.
Outrageous customer service we are a elderly couple but they didn’t seems bothered about the stress tha we would go through, the lady was no empathetic and showed lack of care and respect, I will never buy quality street again after this experience
What a disappointment buying a plastic…quality street no quality
What a disappointment buying a plastic tub of quality street
Terrible change of sweets no purple ones changed to a little round one .
Small chocolate, more sugar added won’t buy again
And nestle lie saying they have not changed the product
Had a chunky salted Carmel duo bought…
Had a chunky salted Carmel duo bought for me today…not good. No taste of salted Carmel at all. What a disappointment.
What are you selling Nestle? Not salted Carmel !
Black Magic Chocolates ruined by Nestle
I treated my daughter and myself to a box of Black Magic chocolates. They used to be lovely with good flavours and creamy dark chocolate. However, this AWFUL NEW RECIPE WHICH CONTAINS PALM OIL makes the chocolates tasteless and look unnaturally like plastic, not at all the quality chocolates they used to be. They are cheap tasting. The flavour of the Coffee and Orange Creams in particular are extremely weak and the centres gluey.
Nestle have ruined a good product and also the Dairy Box chocolates which have also undergone the same product assassination. It should be criminal to do this to what once was an excellent product. Shame on Nestle.
Disgusting company!!!!!!
Disgusting company!!!!!!! Used to be reasonable now all greedy dirtbags keen to kill us off with poisons among other things. Will be looking on the label of everything I buy and if nestle is anywhere it's getting put straight back. Hope the company gets what's coming to it!!!!!!!!!
