Safehaven for Fraudsters and Scammers

This bank was very good for a long time but the last 5 years, they have declined to a point where i will be switching banks after 20 years with CBA. Their dispute team literally harbor fraudsters and scammers now because they are to lazy to fight for my rights whenever i am a victim of a carding incident.

Switch to an alternative that isn't the big 4 because unlike CBA, they will take you seriously and actually need your business unlike this spoiled corporation.

Great Customer Service

Customer service is awesome! They asked for private feedback but I want everyone to know what they have done for me.
They are professional and caring. Twice I raised a dispute about a transaction and both times they were straight onto it and got my money back in my account.
Other banks made me feel like a number that didn't count. Commonwealth Bank makes me feel like a valued customer. Online banking is easy and their platform is very helpful.
Excellent.

Justify $15 late fee

I'm so tired of this bank taking out a late fee of $15, money is there just in another account that automatically gets placed into my savings account. I've written to CBA to express my concerns and they still do it. In my complaint to CBA I expressed how this can be justified, no response. I also advised the bank that it's no wonder they make millions in revenue, from robbing the poor. They're communication system is shody at best, the bot cannot understand most if not all queries put to it. Phoning NetBank is a nightmare, they've finally surpassed ’Centrelink wait times. Absolute travesty???
Commonwealth Bank don't give a brass rasoo about their customers, they're simply there to make a profit, bit like the government 😆😂😆😆

INFERIOR SERVICE - LOW STAFFED

INFERIOR SERVICE - LOW STAFFED - No wonder the Commonwealth Bank is continuing to close branches ....... it's because their customers are closing their accounts in seeking a more reliable bank. Unfortunately I have been with the Commonwealth Bank for too many years & during the time, have noticed their service has gradually deteriorated ......... As an example, my local (very busy) branch - provides only ONE BANK TELLER & sometimes only TWO OR THREE CUSTOMER SERVICE PEOPLE IN ATTENDANCE. At times I have seen customers cuing up out of the bank's door to the street footpath. During a recent visit, with many other customers - I was forced to wait over an hour to see an attendant ...... my time was wasted - because the attendant who I finally ended up seeing - did not do anything in solving my problem. I then attempted to contact 4 x Customer Service agents by phone - but couldn't (again) receive the assistance I requested ....... at times, I felt like I was being patronized.
SURVIVAL OF THE FITTEST COMMONWEALTH BANK !! I have decided to seek another bank which will provide me with the adequate service & help that I am entitled to.

I am having Visa card with CBA for long…

I am having Visa card with CBA for long time. Recently they added $ 6.00 monthly charge. Today I noticed, they are charging "Purchase Rate 13.990%p.a" on top of monthly charge. There was no notice, just added. I have email many times to manager in Sydney, but you never get any response. You cannot contact anyone at CBA and Chat does not have anything for this subject, not human to help. I am cancelling my card, as soon as they receive balance payment. It is the way we are getting ... off by big business ?

Can't have coins from your own bank account.

I recently transferred all of my accounts as well as my family's account to Commonwealth Bank after 35 years with ANZ.
Once a month I run a market stall to fund my wildlife rescue and care ( I'm a licensed carer) .
I went to my local branch today to get $250 worth of coins for the market from my own account.
" SORRY BUT YOU CAN NOT HAVE MORE THAN $100 WORTH IN COIN FOR PERSONAL BANK ACCOUNTS!"
So now I'm in a complete panic !
If you can't give me my money how I'd like it, we'll what sort of bank are you!?
I am now unable to run this monthly stall which is costing me ALOT not only in fundraising but because the stock i have purchased will be wasted.

I cannot find any policies at all regarding this. I'm just dumbfounded!
Bye bye Commonwealth..we're all moving again and I will be cancelling the appointment to transfer my mortgage

Commonwealth Bank Australia takes away Medicare caps money from a disabled person

Commonwealth Bank of Australia took my Medicare cap money health money and won’t give it back. That’s pretty low. What kind of company takes my health money you gotta watch six months for that and the first thing they did was take it away from me and I’ll give it back. You should be ashamed of yourself Commonwealth Bank of Australia. I will be going to Medicare about it.

Daylight Robbery Commonwealth Bank…

Daylight Robbery Commonwealth Bank thief's robbing the public with no shame. I was paying an investment loan with another bank for 9 years and the loan balance was $410.000 K. A deceptive conman at Commonwealth bank who was desperate for business conned me and said I will get a better deal with the Commonwealth bank and took the business refinancing the loan. I was not told $that from my loan payment of 2,494.00 that these robbers will be taking $2054.00 as interest and ONLY $440.00 will be going towards the actual loan. In other-words these cons are taking $2054.00 as interest and only paying out $440.00 towards my loan. I had paid this loan for 9 years with the other bank, and I was told I will do better with COM BANK, what a bloody lie, from (Jake Pianta) the biggest misleading lair who has cheated me well and truly. This man must be held accountable for this lies as I would have never joined the COM BANK thieves ! this is a disgrace for the biggest fraud by these cons !!! I was never told that I will be paying $2054.00 in interest and ONLY $440.00 towards the loan balance, this is how these frauds operate and rob the innocent public. Shame on you COM BANK !!! this matter will be sent to the CEO and the COM BANK board as this is unacceptable and intolerable. This man was nice all the way knowing very well that he was robbing me with NO DEA, in fact the wrest deal of a third grade re finance !!! Dirty low unprofessional cons !!!!
DO NOT GO ANYWHERE NEAR COM BANK !!!

Disgusting Behaviour and Ethics

Did you know this bank has a secret rating system where they rate customers depending on how much the customer provides them feedback or hold them accountable? The more you hold them accountable and provide feedback, the worse your rating. I had a manager Kate / Katie from Business Banking screaming “my rating” at me and hanging up on me because I tried to find out where they were were on a Friday afternoon… Apparently they were all at a “Friday afternoon… ummm… meeting”. This was after her junior. Emma was apparently extremely offended because she couldn’t explain to me why the app was giving me an error message when I tried to open an online account, Emma was trying to force me to a branch, Emma was offended that I said that I didn’t agree with her that they would never be any supervisor available, as I’ve been with the bank longer than she’s been alive and there is always an escalation point. Apparently that was extremely condescending to Emma to be told someone is older than she is 🙄. When I checked with Katie, who was supervisor who did grab the phone, thus making a lie out of what Emma was saying, whether it was truly a meeting or it was downtime, I was screamed at that I was level one and hung up on. The complaints manager said it was a secret rating that they give customers and I have no right to ask any further questions about it. So if you hold them accountable, then you get a low rating. Interestingly, this complaints manager had listened to the calls and said that I was in the right and they were completely unprofessional. Nonetheless, you’re the one that gets the low rating. Did you guys know that? Disgusting bank.

Do things behind your back

Do things behind your back. I had an agreement to not pay my mortgage for 3 months to help pay some legal fees. On queue I paid after the 3rd month my full mortgage and one week later I get a solicitors letter saying I had to sell my house and a legal fee for $500 . When I called the bank they said it was because I hadn’t called them to advise of my catch up plan for the 3 months owing.
They show no trust for a.tried and true customer of 20 plus years. They are an ugly, ugly bank.
