Our trainer, Gary Murrain-Meade, delivered the course in a way that enabled me to believe in myself again. His training and support, along with that of Netcom staff Reece Jarvis and Emma Webb, have been immeasurable. Netcom has been a good platform to work on, and I hope to continue my association with the team in my future endeavours.

People make places. The instructors are vintage beyond imitation. Excellent coaches

Our tutor Gary made the course easy to understand, he's very patient and constantly asked if there's anything we needed help with. I've enjoyed this course, I've learned a lot and Lauren the work coach has also been very helpful alongside our course.

I had a great experience throughout, although I signed up to netcom with a great deal of scepticism. Gary made the whole experience a joy. A brilliant teacher with a very hard working stance. Ive learned so much during the past eleven weeks & completed assessments,I never would have attempted previously. Gary was willing to support & mentor us outside of the scheduled class timings and always replied promptly to any queries I had in regards to the course content.
Would highly recommend Netcom.

IT has been a fantastic experience in the past few months with Netcom Training. They are one of the best I have ever come across. The tutor has been excellent and professional. There has been a lot of support from the Team. I would always recommend Netcom training for anyone aspiring to develop their career.

My tutor gary made it an enjoyable course

I was severely lacking in confidence due to working from home for an extended period in my career, which suited me but meant that I fell behind in my knowledge of all things digital and software related and I needed to catch up. I'd done a few courses online to update my knowledge but this was by far the most comprehensive and valuable course I took... 12 weeks, 4 sessions a week 3 hours each, plus daily tasks and weekly assignments so a lot of learning opportunities. Our trainer - Gary - was super patient and had so much valuable knowledge to impart and Emma and the whole admin team were really supportive. If you're struggling there is always someone there to help.
I honestly feel so much more prepared and ready to take on the challenge of growing my own business, and they support you for 6 months afterwards too. Very highly recommended.

The teacher and everything

Eileen was a wonderful tutor for the Social Media and Web Design Course for entrepreneurs. The course was 6 weeks long and is packed full of information and fun tasks and assignments. There is lots of group work and group feedback sessions for those who may find this helpful to know first of all. However, Eileen is patient, understanding, and caring for everyone on the course! We had cover on two of the days from Nathan and Bev who were also both brilliant tutors too!
The only reason this review was given 4 stars, is that there are a few things that I feel could do with improvement, mainly the admin. It feels disjointed and their communication is extremely varied. Also, having to do a timesheet and guided learning hours feels like repeated work for no real point, this process could be streamlined. Also, having an employability coach was a strange concept to me on a entrepreneurial course, as she could not provide any information on self-employment. There also is no real post course support as advised throughout.

The manner in which the tutors (Jon Heaps & Mohammed Riyad) delivered the course was a great mix of the tutor leading and the class members feeling relaxed enough to provide answers without being prompted. The tutor signposted the class to relevant online material, links and cases. He delivered the class at pace and where a member of the class was unsure about the course content he ensured he took the time to answer their queries

I enjoyed the course a lot and the teaching standard was quite high. I enjoyed being part of the group and contributing with the group tutor in the activities and tasks. this helped to reinforce the skills and knowledge that I gained during the course.
I didn't like that the training sessions were done during the evening, this was not a good time for me at all as my concentration would be affected and sometimes I have missed a number of sessions due to illness and poor health. The slides and presentations had a lot of information that was not relevant to what was been taught during the sessions and didn't help me personally to be confident in completing the assignment workbooks. In honesty I felt that I struggled with most of the assignment activities during the course and this has definitely affected my enjoyment of the course.

The teacher Jon made the learning experience very good. He is very patient and guides very well. He is very knowledgeable in the cyber security industry

My experience was very great. The lecturer was extremely patient with everyone. The lectures were very informative. I have enjoyed every bit of this training course.

I enjoyed the course. I learned a lot, and the trainer was very knowledgeable. The layout of the course itself could be better, but I can see it being improved over time.

Communication from the admin team was slightly poor but course material and tutor were superb. Real world examples of cyber security threats were very helpful towards my learning process.

A huge shout out to Jon for his excellent delivery to the course! I attained so much knowledge and better understanding from the lessons that learned from cybersecurity course. I highly recommend this cybersecurity course to anyone who’s interested in taking on a new field.
