This is a great little box

This is a great little box. All the normal TV channels, but Amazon Video, YouTube, and loads of online channels. It even hooks up with my Plex server, so I've got my music there as well. The app on my phone works like a remote control as well. Very clever!

Happy Customer

This 4k netgem tv box is just what been looking for, all my favourite channels and streaming in one box, with having a old 4k tv, this box has exceeded all expectations, brilliant 4k picture, I have a sound bar, so great sound too.
Easy setup, and have recorded my favourite programmes on a 32gb usb drive, if you are looking for a hassle free 4k freeview box, then look no further.
Also Netgem have a excellent customer service.

Rubbish, waste of money.

Not overly happy with this, they go on about all the programs blah blah blah, it’s rubbish, I can’t even add apps like Netflix, I downgraded from sky and got this pants box from origin broadband, it’s not the easiest to navigate, and not having an Ariel we have to rely on WiFi based programs, if you don’t have an Ariel please don’t waste your time on this, even the Amazon fire stick is better, cheaper and at least you can add apps.
I have also found the box to freeze often, it’s very laggy and the remote is also laggy and slow.
I will be cancelling this ASAP, sadly thinking of going back to sky tv.

We also have access to box sets and box office movies with Prime video, Youtube, Rakuten, Britbox, Hayu etc and we are constantly adding new contents to our line up. which you can view through your internet if you do not have an aerial. The devices work great with both a roof top aerial or an indoor aerial for live channels. You can also find things to watch quicker and easier with Universal search, Amazon Alexa and personal recommendations. we also have the Netgem TV mobile app where you can watch channels on the go and connect as many devices as you like. Hi I was given a c50fvp tv for…

Hi I was given a c50fvp tv for Christmas. It took a while to set it up and watch properly. I've also found out netflix is a big no. Can I ask why....... Also the leaflets in the box do not show the actual remote for the tv. No bass or treble adjustments. And no way I can add apps. Can you help with any of this. Pete

Yes its a cello tv. Its runs with netgem. I called and was rudley told no to netflix because of netgem. I am now using amazon video instead which is on the apps

Got the sound box on a so called…

Got the sound box on a so called upgrade deal through Origin as I already have my broadband with them. I was completely miss sold the package and led to believe the tv package was much better than it actually is. (Made it sound like it was going to be more along the lines of virgin/sky for a fraction of the price).
I already had freeview and all the smart apps via my tv so I’ve basically just wasted money and signing up to a ridiculously long contract!
I want out this contract but according to the contact you only have 14 days!

received today i got mine via origin…

received today i got mine via origin broadband for £10 a month when i spoke to origin when they offered me it for a upgrade they said it had bt sports and sky movies, but origin are lying t**ts but overall the tv box is good

Good for non techie..

This is the first time I was able to set up a TV with all the channels without problems. For all those who aren't tech savvy, this is so easy.

I absolutely love my netgem box

I absolutely love my netgem box. It has everything and more that i enjoy watching. There is so much choice. I'm always entertained. It's fantastic to snuggle up with my family and enjoy. There's something for everyone. I love it!!

You won't regret it.

This a fantastic service. The content is on par with bigger names and is a lot cheaper that what I previously paid. Top value. I can't recommend it enough.

DON’T BOTHER!!

DO NOT BOTHER!
Bought this as it seemed okay for freeview tv viewing. After around 4 months I got a new TV which already had freeview built in so cancelled the contract with Netgem and sent the box back to them as they requested with DPD tracking to prove it. Although I cancelled they have been apparently trying to bill me for a year (without notifying me and with no way to take money due to cancelling) and sent me a random threatening letter with almost a years worth of accumulated billing for a service I haven’t used. Tried calling numerous times to find out how the hell they have come to this conclusion. But each call has led to an indian call centre voicemail, so I cannot even pay it off just to get rid of the threat either. Do not bother ruining your credit rating for this piece of rubbish!!!

Brought a NetBox

Brought a NetBox and it works fine , but every now and then you have to unplug it from the mains because it becomes unresponsive , it isnt plain to see on screen , lots of hidden stuff that means you have to be so smart to just watch TV , mine is connected to my virgin hub (wifi) which is 200mbps so should be fine but still updates are slow , the website is ok , whats on only shows a few things and when you want to check availability for a box , amazon says unavailable ... so they links are not updating or live...seems like netgem are only interested in getting you to sign after that your on your own.
