AVOID, AVOID, AVOID
Only getting one star because I can't put less. Would strongly advise anyone not to use this site. Old car part exchanged but paperwork never done which resulted in a fine for no insurance and parking ticket as owner not updated with relevant bodies. Spun a yarn about how the cambelt was changed and came with warranty, neither of which were true again resulting in hefty bills. Have been fed a pack of lies and empty promises. Truly awful experience
AVOID THIS JOKE DEALER
Matt 10 of 10 for being the worls biggest BS merchant.
Avoid this dealer at all costs - Dont even think about buying a car from this guy full of BS, car is an absolute joke, said it was serviced well yes it was about 10 years ago, said it had warranty, no warranty, said it had second key, No key, said is passed the MOT with no faults but faults were identified, probably a dodgy MOT also, if want to spend your hard earnt money wisely, dont even think about this shady, BS merchant. absolutely appauling, would not recommend buying anything from this **** wit.
Buyer beware go else where, dont even think about it.
zero out of 10, best thing is now he wont even answer the telephone. shame on you I hope you go bankrupt you deserve it, if fact I wish you doom and gloom, nothing but a scam merchant avoid at all cost.
AVOID
Where to even begin!!!!
Matt told me that car had been serviced and cam belt done. Promised receipt would be emailed to prove this. Receipt never arrived and no service ever done - let alone cam belt (confirmed by Ford).
Was told the log book had been sent off and no slip was given to myself. Car obviously never had a log book and weeks of hassle and calls to DVLA to rectify.
Was promised the missing parcel shelf would be delivered - never was.
ABSOLUTE BEST OF ALL - blu tack behind the dash to cover the engine management light being on!!! The sad thing was we did not realise this had been done until my son went to do his driving test in the car. Because the light did not come on and go off on start up, he was not allowed to take the test. Believe me he was gutted. This little episode cost me £150 for a double driving lesson and the test fee that was wasted. The most annoying part, was that is was only a faulty sensor causing the light to be on, and the repair was £100 total. Instead of just doing the honest thing and fixing the car before sale, they had stuck blu tack over the light behind the dash to hide it.
I have nothing good to say. Scamming a 17 year old basically who was so excited to have his first car.
Edited to add (Jan 2024) - spare key does not fit the car! Had cam belt done now and the belt which I was assured has been done was never done and loads of teeth missing. Just caught it in time.
Purchased a car from them last year and…
Purchased a car from them last year and have had numerous things wrong with it so far. Wheel arch liner missing, drivers seat under tray and fixings missing, water ingress into the front passenger footwell which is terrible in heavy rain, cruise control has completely stopped working, loads of rust on underside of boot lid which is spreading to the outside and looking naff, and 3 faulty/ barely legal tyres. Every time I fix a problem a new one crops up. If you decide to purchase from here CHECK IT OVER VERY CAREFULLY BEFORE BUYING
lost interest…
i was convinced i wanted the car they were advertising and started calling on a monday, the phone rang and rang then i was cut-off 13times. tuesday x4 calls to a now answering machine.....wed two emails, thursday x 1 message left, and now friday x2 cut off again...ive lost interest!!
Faulty car with questionable MOT
I purchased a car that was supposedly full service history and a fresh mot prior to purchase. It was sold with a full 12 month warranty which I was assured would be emailed through to myself once he has sent my details off. The warranty never came and I chased it up numerous times.
It is a legal requirement that cars after a certain year are fitted with tyre pressure monitors. This car was freshly mot'd yet had no tyre pressure sensors fitted in 2 tyres and the others were faulty.
The car had allegedly been serviced yet on inspection the oil, filter, plugs, air filter had clearly not been changed for a very long time indeed. In fact only 4 weeks after owning the vehicle it required a complete set of coil packs and spark plugs at considerable cost. It also required work on the rear brakes as they were also faulty. The engine management light came only a few days after owning it and Matt, the company owner actually sent a mechanic to take the car and inspect the fault which I was told was a faulty sensor. On returning the car the check engine light was indeed off however the fault wasn't rectified... Instead the led that illuminates had been destroyed to hide the problem. To correct the now faulty instrument cluster I had to go to a main dealer where the cost was enormous to rectify the damage. The car was also faulty in many other ways and it has cost well over £1500 to date to put right. This is a small possibly one man operation and please do your research by looking for all the telltale signs that I missed. Do not use.
It is taking me an awful amount of work and expense to repair a fraudulently sold vehicle that was not fit for purpose.
