If i could give 1 star i would

If i could give 1 star i would! Shocking company! No warning letters, calls, emails ect just a streight bailiff letter saying there are coming to take my stuff i phoned them straight away to arrange payment and told them i could only afford £20.00 a month (im not currently working due to health issues so currently on UC) they refused it said they wanted the full £700.00! Told them my situation and he couldnt care less! He was so rude and arrogant and not helpfull in the slightest! He then told me the only thing he could do for me it is let me pay half one month and half the month after. I explaind that after all my bills are paid and ive done a monthly food shop im left with £60.00 to last me the month with a 3 year old child STILL DIDNT CARE! Told me to ask family members to pay it for me! NOT A CHANCE! i told him again i could only afford £20.00 a month you iver take it or leave it? he said he could only accept payments of £70.00 or more so was willing to leave me with not even a penny to my name for a whole month every month untill it was paid off! I didnt agree and said i want to speek to a manager he told me ok and that i would get a call with in 2 days from his manager... That same afternoon i had a call back from the same guy saying he will actually accept my £20.00 a month offer so set all that up and all has been fine since...UNTILL NOW! I have recently had to cancel my bank card and order a new one so obviously they couldnt take there payment this month... ive called and explained that as soon as i get my new card i will call and set up payments again they said they cant wait that long i have to pay by the 24th april 2026 (its now the 20th april) i said how can u tell me that when i might not have my new card by then? She said "thats just how its got to be" well no it hasnt because if i havnt got a card how am i ment to pay? Again expect family members or friends to pay it for me! She was also rude, with an attitude! So again ive asked to speak to a manager so we will see what comes from that call! I have never in my life known a company like this and have no clue how they are still running if they are treating people like this! No compassion or consideration for anyones circumstances what so ever! they are a verry greedy company and if they dont get there own way just send the bailiffs! Not to mention that it is actually ILLIGAL to refuse any payment offered! Yet they reffused my offer on several occations! I only wish that there was a way that we could all find a way to shut this company down!

Not the driver dont care, pay the fine

Dont care if you was not the driver, dont care the local council has seized in replying and there was a court order, which they are ignoring.
Bullying a disabled woman, who cant work.
Offered them a payment per week they turned it down, which I may say is against the law.
Have to prove my vulnerability and welfare to them, talk. About disbelieve you.
So never lend your car out, cause it dont matter if you was NOT the driver, its the registered keeper they go after.
So dont register your car, dont give authorities who was driving and then they cant chase you.
Been stung now and the person who borrowed my car, is paying the baliff for sure.

Assaulted by their staff

These abusers call at 6am and I was assaulted by their so called bailiff ‘Christopher’. Had to call the police. Bailiff refused to stay for police but was told by police to stay so he had no choice. He then was seen flagging the police down on the street before mine to get his lies in first. They are lawless - assault on a woman - absolutely terrorised by them. Cannot believe this is allowed to happen in the UK.

Dreadful company and they should be…

I wanted to take a moment to share a recent experience I had with Newlyns, the enforcement company working on behalf of Hounslow London Borough Council. To say it was memorable would be an understatement! As many of us are aware, these companies act under the council’s authority, much like the police, and this seems to be where the main issue lies.

Over the years, I’ve received several parking tickets from Hounslow Council and, despite making appeals, I’ve never had any success in overturning them. Most recently, the incident involved my delivery van driving down a road which, unexpectedly, had become restricted. There was no clear indication, and yet the penalty was swift and severe. Newlyns clamped my delivery van, and I was forced to pay immediately before my driver could be released.

It’s quite concerning that companies like Newlyns operate in this manner. The team seemed rather aggressive, and it raises questions about the recruitment standards, given the behaviour exhibited during the interaction. I would urge everyone to be extremely vigilant if you’re operating in Hounslow or dealing with Newlyns. It’s important to be fully aware of local restrictions and the potential for such enforcement actions.

Thank you for taking the time to read about my experience. I hope it helps others avoid similar issues.

Still waiting for refund!!!!!

I'm due at refund of £315 as the court said I didnt owe it.
I have been given all the excuses going. It's been processed, 10 days till payment, 14 days till payment and today was told it hadn't been processed due to staff shortages.
If I owed the money and didn't pay, I would be charged. So will be contacting the court tomorrow. Disgraceful service!

How does this appalling company stay in…

How does this appalling company stay in business ??,, they sent a message to my fathers phone saying that they were in the process of send a balliff round to seize his furniture. My father who is 79 and in delicate health, was so upset that we needed to call a doctor. my father is one of the old type that NEVER OWES MONEY TO ANYONE. The mobile No. used by this CRAP COMPANY did not accept return calls. When I eventually managed to get the company's No. and call them I was told that my father's name and address did not match their records. They did not give any apologies for the distress that they had caused my father through their misdialling. With all the negative reviews on here, it's surprising that companies use their services.

They clamped my car illegally as their dyslexic employee who cant speak English properly (mr G.Nelson) couldn't tell the difference between a 5 and a 6 on the licence plate.

I missed an urgent meeting because of his stupidity and when I call to complain they took the mick out of the situation and were of no help.

I will go through legal action if I dont get compensation.

These scum like taking advantage of the poor now they can pay for their mistake.

I had no idea what was going on and was…

I had no idea what was going on and was completely taken by surprise.
I was harassed and my car was clamped while I had my newborn baby with me.
The man demanded £300 and showed no care, concern, or empathy for my situation.
He waited outside my house in his car and deliberately waited for me to come out and see my vehicle clamped.
I have never experienced behaviour like this before. His actions were aggressive, intimidating, and felt threatening, similar to a gangster-style approach.
I was left frightened and distressed, especially as I had my newborn with me.
Because of this incident, I was unable to complete the school run.
The behaviour was bullying, frightening, and completely unacceptable, and it has had a serious emotional impact on me.

Shame on you people for looting people…

Shame on you people for looting people money.I had a ticket which was more three times normally as i didn’t change my address . Later they send me letter to current address and agree to pay huge fine in payment plan as i was struggling financially. I was making payment regularly with direct debit and few left to pay but once I they cancelled my direct debit as once there was not enough money. For five six months they just keep quite where I was not aware of it . I forgot there was some payment plan left with them after six months of they send enforcement agent to my house with double fine and threaten me with holding vehicle. They just keep silent for six month so that they can steal money from me. They have every contact information which they should have warned me and let me know that my payment has not been done , they just grab the opportunity so that they could take more money from people. You should shame for just turturing people not understanding how these days people are financially struggling. What this company care is looking for opportunity to charge extra and torture people.
Lastly , be shameful of your act and action.

Spoke re debt for last house owner

Rang to make them aware the debtor they're chasing does not live here anymore. Nice guy on the phone. If you're in a similar position ie debt for past resident. Just call them they'll remove your address from database & find them via DVLA records & other means.

Very poor and also questionable practice.

I had to ring them for a payment as I never had a bill or any correspondence from them and they added £75 'compliance fee'.

There's no route to complain or appeal and I'd also question the person's tone when speaking to me. I was told things which were categorically untrue as if they were fact.

I’m writing on the behalf of my dear friend, ( female ) who. Has 4 kids, as she has a payment plan. In place, the woman (on the phone ) telling her. She doesn’t have a payment plan in place. But, I was at her place. Months, ago. When, a guy called her and put the payment plan in place for her. PS: I would defend any friend, who’s being bullied by ppl/ or a company. If they keep on, I will make the woman / and company be ashamed, by going to the newspaper. Pressuring my friend, ( female ) with 4 kids. For more money!

Terrible company

Terrible company. Not interested in finding a solution that works for both parties - money is their only interest and if you can't afford it? Well, that's your problem. First encountered these idiots about 3 years ago when I got my car on finance. I got a ticket - can't remember what for - and a Newlyn Bailiff turned up outside my flat and threatened to clamp my car unless I paid the fine plus the added fees. I told him I wasn't paying it and it wouldn't end well for him if he tried to clamp my car. I told him I wasn't going to stand there and let him clamp my motor (it was and still is on finance). After realising I was serious (I'm not a little bloke) he left. I told him I know he was just doing a job but to tell his office I wasn't paying anything. He went away. After weeks of messing about, I told Newlyn I would pay £50 a month (think the total overall fine was about £250) but then they decided to put their "fee" on top which bumped it up to over £500. I told them to shove it and they have been chasing me for the past 3 years. Loads of texts threatening to take my car and my stuff but no action as of yet and also loads of phone calls. I don't know what actual powers they have but I do know they are responsible for a young bloke killing himself. They were found to be not responsible but they clearly were. Do not give them a penny. They don't deserve it.
