Don't waste your time

This company "approved" me for an auto loan. They immediately asked for all sorts of documents and pictures to verify my identity and eligibility. I emailed in response and asked what my approval looked like... Loan amount? Interest rate? "I would be glad to send all of this documentation, but it would be moot if the loan is for $5k less than the car I'm looking for."

Well, they didn't even bother replying. This tells me that either their customer relations are horrible, or they know their loans are trash and they didn't expect me to bite if they responded. Waste of time and the hit on my credit report.
