Dreadful customer service

I cancelled my subscription and they took another payment.
I have emailed them on several occasions, no reply; I have phoned and left messages still no reply.
Dreadful customer service.
Is this a reflection of the competency of their political views?

Poor subscriber experience

I enjoy the journalism but the digital strategy of New Stateman is not great right now. The mobile app doesn't have the same third party login methods as the web. I couldn't ever login on the mobile app after account creations and my support email had a stock reply with no helpful response. In the end I decided to end my trial as I mainly like to access news via quick mobile apps. The subscription phone number was often closed during the indicated "opening hours". You need to email or phone to end a subscription. Thai is so dated and old media.

Overall it seemed like the this publication is understaffed. I'm content with paying for news but I do expect a platform with self serve subscription managment and an app that actually work with all login methods.

Honestly, I hope there's better digital strategy for a new generation of readers like me.
