New world heat pump tumble dryer…
New world heat pump tumble dryer NWCGTD9HP 9 kg.
We bought this in August 2021 and it suddenly died last week, just a few weeks out of warranty.
Called the new world support number and they flat out refused to help.
You wouldn’t expect a tumble dryer that has hardly been used to die just after two years.
We will never buy one of their products again and looking at all the poor reviews on this site, neither will a lot of other people either.
Very disappointing.
Cooker broke down after 4 weeks
Cooker broke down after 4 weeks. Engineer came around, disconnected it dating it was faulty and dangerous. Trying to get my money back but customer service is hopeless and passing the buck to the supplier.
Bought new world range cooker 18 months…
Bought new world range cooker 18 months ago. Fan oven stopped working. No worries because 2 year warranty. Called admin support, proven purchase and fitted properly. Engineer booked, stayed in all day, no ones arrived. Constant contact with admin, still trying to get Engineer out. Texted says reply if can't make appointment, apparently I should have replied if I could. Absolute joke, happy to update when sorted but at the moment have 18 months old multiple hundreds pounds cooker not working and bad customer support. Wouldn't touch them.

Failed to respond to online query form twice. Came to Trustpilot to check reviews which confirmed that their customer service is appalling. My advice is read the reviews and steer clear.

Absolutely terrible from new world
Absolutely terrible from new world, do not trust these at all, there customer service is bad, kept putting phone down on me saying they couldn't hear me when clearly they could, they spoke to me terrible, won't honour the warranty although the fault is there's because of bad design of there product, won't admit they have manufacturing flaws in there products yet sell them to customers.

Bought a New world cooker in 2021 and it has slowly fell apart. The top oven never worked properly, the grill was too slow you can’t turn the the hob down enough to simmer and now the door doesn’t shut properly. In over 50 years of cooking it is the worst cooker I have ever owned. My other appliances are covered with domestic and General but they no longer insure new world cookers, that speaks volumes

New World took notice of a poor review of mine in relation to a problem with a football net. They responded very quickly and in a very satisfactory way to correct the problem.

I am a shift worker, so was happy that i could book my repair online for my NWLS50SEB from Argos.
I booked this on bank holiday Monday, and the engineer managed to come out and fix it from not heating Wednesday evening, and had parts with him already. Really happy with how quick they sorted the issue with me.
Impressive range cooker
Recently bought a new world range cooker (NW92TDF3BL) and at half the price of my previous Rangemaster. Very impressed! Only complaint we have is there wasn’t a model with half gas half induction hob.

Disgusting service from newworld appliances ! I have a hob, a product under 12months old and when I tried to book an engineer on line I wasn’t allowed to proceed unless I signed up to subscription at a cost!
Spoke to customer Service this morning who apologised and asked for me to send a copy of a receipt as proof of purchase for the hob and they will send out an engineer.
I do this so for then A snotty Keira on c/s to email me saying they now want proof of who fitted the hob, gas safe certificate shoe size of the engineer etc !!! I have sent over my gas safe certificate but that’s now still not good enough!! YOU’RE CROOKS NEWWORLD ANYTHING TO GET OUT OF REPAIRING A FAULTY ITEM THATS WITHIN ITS GUARANTEE It’s the ignition will not stop sparking, nothing wrong with the gas supply to the hob as this works by using matches and not the ignition!!! Trading standards will be receiving a letter should you not comply to your guarantee

Induction hobs
Recently replaced our old Induction hob (Neff not sure which model it was) which had a propensity to boil over with the the New World 160. So far so good - definitely less boil overs in the last 6 weeks. Haven't used the customer service yet and hopefully won't need to. Can't give full marks after such a short time and because it doesn't seem as fast as the old one.

Bought a NW cooker in March last year and it’s been awesome. Much better than previous hotpoint I had. May this year the light bulb went and NW sent me a new one and really easy to replace. Highly recommend

I brought a new fridge freezer but on delivery we noticed a small dent in the door. The New World customer service team were brilliant and had a new one out to me the following day at a time that suited me, great product and service
I purchased a Newworld double oven in…
I purchased a Newworld double oven in November 2021,the element failed in March this year, I contacted Newworld who after viewing my receipt made arrangements for a contractor to arrange a visit. When the contractor came he was courteous even though he did not have the correct part on the first visit he came back to me within 3 working days and repaired my oven. Thankyou Newworld for dealing with my faulty oven so swiftly and courteously.

Item was faulty and new world were determined to blame it on argos who delivered the item however it was the actual parts that were faulty and not any damage at all. Would never advise buying they're items

I can’t fault their customer service because I didn’t have a problem with that. My product is awful! I bought a new world dryer and it’s terrible. It takes over one hour to dry a pair of jeans and a jumper. It takes 2.5 hours to dry half a load. I did phone them up after a year of having it because it started to blow cold air. They sent someone to replace the broken part, I was thinking that maybe that part had always been faulty and that’s why everything took so long to dry. But even with the new part the clothes take forever to dry. Even if I put the washing on an extra spin to get the excess water out it only cuts the drying time by around 10 minutes. I would not recommend buying a dryer from new world unless you’re willing to wait hours for clothes to dry.
