Horrible customer service

Horrible customer service. I ordered a succulent terrarium. I received a cheap plant. It was called circle of life and was a tribute to my brother to my sister. Our brother died and she isn't good with plants. So I specifically ordered something easy. When I said I was unhappy they said our policy clearly says we can substitute something close. How is this close. I would not recommend.

Product arrived to recipient damaged…

Product arrived to recipient damaged (broken vase and wilted flowers). I followed up with Customer service, which is nearly impossible to get ahold of, to request a discount/refund via phone and email and even provided detailed pictures of the damages as requested. After several email exchanges and unsuccessful attempts to get ahold of a customer service rep over the phone, customer service kept citing irrelevant policy excerpts and would not answer my questions/concerns, which were clearly expressed. After a couple of days, the agent stopped responding to my communications. I called the department that takes orders so that I could actually talk to a real person. The individual stated that she would follow up with Customer service for me, but I never received any assistance. Please do not waste your energy, time, or money on this sad excuse for a “company.”

CS is the worst

CS is the worst! They refuse to refund me for same day delivery when it was not delivered same day. In fact, it has still not been delivered and it is 7:30pm the next night.

Update: my flowers never got delivered to recipient. When I emailed CS, Oscar” informed me that a refund was impossible bc the product was perishable and in transit. Also said - the company could replace product w produce which makes no sense: I called my cc company and they credited me. I filed a complaint against this company w better business bureau for fraud

I always do my research but sadly today…

I always do my research but sadly today I had so much on my mind I forgot....the flowers my mom received was nothing like the flowers I ordered. way less roses than I paid for, no other flowers in the bouquet. They're scammers and they'll have to deal with the consequences. I won't leave it like that.

FRAUD!

FRAUD!

I ordered from Belgium a combined gift (300 euro) for my sister's wedding. They delivered rotten pears and mandarines instead of ananas and grapes for 50 usd as ordered, cheaper chocolates not HUGO ones, no roses basket for 100 usd (after 100 complaints and a demand for the refund they sent (one month later) a miserable wilted flower bucket). out of what I ordered and that arrived was a Veuve Clicquot bottle, no wedding ballon. The delivery was 10 days late.

Complete RIP-OFF!!!

We ordered from Canada a fancy gift basket for my wife's brother and a birthday cake to be delivered on his birthday to a New York hotel in Manhattan where he was staying to celebrate his day. They delivered the basket on the wrong day (the day before) and the basket did not have the items we ordered: a wooden cart with wheels, fine wine with 2 wine glasses and fine snacks. He got instead a cheap picnic basket with a cheap wine and only 1 wine glass, a bag of chips, and other low quality items. No birthday cake that costed extra 20 US$. Nobody answers the phone, so we definitely were ripped-off. Very disappointed. Do not do business with them!!!

Bad service that I won't hire again

To celebrate my daughter's birthday and since I can't give her a gift in person, I decided to hire the New York Blooms services to surprise her. The order was a box of 12 macarons and a bottle of Portuguese wine to deliver on the 20th February 2021, her birthday. The delivered order contained 2 boxes of cookies and wine, delivered on the 19th.They substituted the macarons for two boxes of cookies without my permission neither checked out my opinion about that. No information was given in this regard, on the contrary, in all the emails I received confirmed the delivery of macaroons and wine. My daughter doesn't like those cookies and I knew that very well and for that reason I didn't choose them for my order. She loves macarons and that's why I bought them. You can imagine her disappointment when she opened the box after reading my card where I mentioned the macaroons. If I had known this would happen, I would never have bought this gift on Blooms website. I was careful to place the order well in advance because I knew of the delays that could be caused by the covid-19 situation and the bad weather. They had enough time to schedule the order with the content requested by me. There is no excuse for this poor service. Until now, I wrote two emails, one to New York Blooms and other to Toronto Blooms, all without response. This reveals a lack of respect and consideration for customers. For all these reasons, I do not recommend anyone to hire New York Blooms services.

A complete scam

A complete scam. They pretty much ignored what I originally ordered and sent completely different items, which were very poor quality and off-brand, AND the food contained allergens. No customer service - the calls go to “voice mail” (??) and emails bounce back. I called as if I was placing a new order (and of course there was an answer) and demanded I get my refund. The person gave me an email address that worked - but went completely ignored. I ended up disputing it through my credit card.
Save yourself the headache and do not bother.

They are NOT in New York at all.

I wish I'd looked on trustpilot before ordering. I was ordering birthday flowers for a friend, ordered on Saturday for birthday on Monday. She lives in Manhattan and I'm in another country so was googling New York/Manhattan flower companies. When you see a company called "New York Blooms" you expect that they are based in New York City. I chose the delivery date on their website and then when it came to checkout on the delivery website paid $20 for delivery (not same day, as I was ordering two days ahead, but I believe this was the same price). On my friend's birthday morning I get a tracking email to say it's being shipped. By the evening the tracking email says it will arrive by 9pm Tuesday and it's coming from Springfield, MA. So I've ordered two days ahead, thinking they're in NYC and can deliver for my friend's birthday but they're just posting from several states away??? Ridiculous.

Did not receive gift ordered

I ordered a gift that was supposed to include champagne, flowers and chocolate. I had upgraded the champagne (not delivered), no glasses, flower arrangement (was not as described) and chocolate was not included. I paid $175 dollars and the order that was sent as a gift was nowhere near that amount. I cannot get ahold of the company. They are not returning calls, or emails. I would like a refund or the actual product I ordered sent.

I was incredibly disappointed with this…

I was incredibly disappointed with this service. As it was my sons 40th birthday and I live in a different country I used this company to have flowers delivered to him on the day of his birthday. I was assured on the website that the flowers would arrive on his birthday. They didn’t. I could not contact them as both the phone numbers and email addresses on the website were invalid. After finally reaching the company nearly a week after the flowers were supposed to be delivered they finally agreed to send the gift only after I threatened to get a refund. In total the gift arrived a week late. The flower was broke on arrival and died soon after. It was supposed to arrive in a branded mug but instead came in a cheap vase. Also the 6 bottles of beer that were to accompany the flowers were replaced with 4 bottles.
I spent a large degree of money on this gift and rather than fulfill their obligations, this company decided instead to rob a paying customer. The sheer incompetence of this company can not be understated. I would have had better luck tying an orchid to a messenger pigeon and sending it across the Atlantic than I did using the failure of a company. In my six decades on this earth never before have I dealt with such an unprofessional and worthless set of fools.
Do not use this company for any service they offer. I highly doubt they could drown in the sea given their incompetence.

SCAM!

If there was 0 rating I would give it a 0 cos it's a scam. I ordered flowers & snacks through this site 3 weeks ago for my in laws. 3 weeks ago on my purchased order date, I had selected next business day shipping. They literally didn't even ship the item until 3 weeks after... I had reached out to their customer service multiple times throughout the 3 weeks period and basically they're not even helpful and responds every 3-4 days or not at all.
What's worse is that, what they sent was not what I had ordered. I had uncooked pasta shipped in the parcel, which is SO RANDOM cos I didn't even order f***ing pasta and the number of things were missing from what I had initially purchased. The photo of the items and flowers did not look anything like the one on the website, it looked like they just bought things from the supermarket and dumped it all in a basket.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE COS ITS A SCAM!!!!

Horrible experience

Horrible experience.
Placed an order on 1.7 paid expedited shipping for $67 to have items(wine, chocolate and plant) arrive quickly.

Order arrived on 1.21 with two of the 3 items. Company is refusing to refund any money. Absolutely no customer service.

Do your self a favor and find a better company. Extremely frustrating situation!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

Ordered an expensive bottle of Champagne and orchids for my niece's 40th birthday from this company. The website says location in NY, NJ and Canada and that they deliver on Sundays, the day of her birthday. The order did not arrive until 2 days late and the champagne was a cheap bottle, not what I ordered; the orchids, 5 days later, have still not arrived. It is impossible to contact them, the voicemail sounds like a virtual assistant with poor grammar, the email responses are canned and unhelpful. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I am disputing the fee via my credit card company.

Complete Scam

Complete Scam. put the order in, the invoice says next day delivery, it was for a birthday present for a co-worker not even a busy holiday. The co-worker lives in New York, but for some reason they decided to send champagne, flowers, and chocolate from california which takes a week. Got on the phone after 1 hour of being put on hold. I told the person the fedex details and she tells me its not from California its from Canada and that the fedex invoice will update. I told her to confirm if it will be delivered next day and she did but nope, the order is still coming from California and taking a week long. Called again to let them know that the package didn't arrive and now i'm being transferred from one person to another person and the wait time is 30mins each transfer to talk to someone. their website shows 10k reviews at 4.7 stars which is an absolute joke. can't even write a review these are all fake reviews. we need to shut this place down ASAP.

WORSE PURCHASE EVER, DELIVERED SPOILT, DESTROYED ITEMS AND STALE FLOWERS

The only reason i am giving '1 star' is because a '0 star' cannot be given.
First of, i made an order of Cake, Roses, Balloons, Chocolates, Champaign, and paid a sum of $44.66 for a 3 days shipping, totaling to a sum of $163.13.
This was ordered on 22/08 But sadly i did not receive the order until 04/09, that is 13 days after date of ordering.
I had initially emailed the company informing them of the lack of satisfaction due to delayed shipping, i was told there was nothing they could do as even though i had paid for 3 days shipping it still wasn’t guaranteed. the question that follows is that why charge so much for something that was not guaranteed.
Moving forward the items finally arrived (2 weeks after the intended date, and 2 weeks after the supposed birthday) and I must say that is was disgustingly appalling. They all came so damaged and rotten
- The flowers were brown showing it was stale
- The cake was all crumbled and mashed up
- The balloon was deflated.
- The chocolates boxes where all squashed.
I was totally shocked and confused as to why they thought this was OK to be delivered, I reached out the company and the response I got where even worse than the items delivered.
This guy 'Oscar' tells me that they are unable to compensate me for damages as perishable are not guaranteed, so why advertise the products at all if you cannot guarantee delivering it in one piece?
They have shown no empathy at all and its crazy that they think this is acceptable,
Please do not order from this company, they are a total scam, overpriced and will not deliver your items.

NEW YORK BLOOMS - DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE WITH YOUR GIFT!!!

We ordered a gift basket for our daughter who had eloped to NY to get married - New York Blooms got one 1 item right. We had explained how important this basket was to our family as we are in Australia and were promised the world. Absolutely NOTHING looked like the photo. The balloons were left completely out and never received. The cake that was substituted for the cake we had ordered to represent a wedding cake was a cranberry bar cake in a plastic box wrapper that looked like it had come straight from the supermarket. We ordered a box of flowers in pretty pinks and a bunch consisting of one lilly and a couple of old roses turned up wrapped in bright purple florist tulle. I'm sorry I can't post photos to show you what was received and how ghastly it was. We had picked out a card and wrote a loving message from the whole family wishing them congratulations and a happy life together and an A4 sheet of paper was delivered with the message that read "Congratulations - sent with care" and my name. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!!! DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE WITH YOUR GIFT DELIVERY!! New York Blooms - YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED!!!
