The Nextbase microSDXC card is a U3 Ultra High Speed card, ensuring video data is written smoothly and allows the Dash Cam to capture the road ahead in full HD, 1440p or 4K quality. Included in the pack, the microSD-to-SD adapter allows you to easily read the files on your laptop or home computer.
Nextbase Industrial Grade U3 microSD Cards are designed to ensure uninterrupted recording with a high number of write cycles. Non compatible SD Cards will corrupt, causing the Dash Cam to freeze, stop recording, or malfunction.
With a capacity of 128GB, the microSD card will record up to approximately eighteen hours of HD footage before the Dash Cam overwrites the oldest recordings, or seven hours if using a rear-view module. This provides you with enough capacity to capture any incident and ensure you have the evidence you need.
The U3 speed is required for 4K recordings and Dash Cams with Rear View Camera modules attached.
Please note that this 128GB card is not compatible with the following models: Ride, Duo, Mirror, 101, 202, 302G, 402G, 112 or 122

We replaced our original-from-purchase SD card which was around 4 or 5 years old. Although these cards look expensive, the original worked fine for years, bringing down the cost to a very reasonable monthly average for the peace of mind we've had.

I am disappointed with my Nextbase experience. There is nothing wrong with the dash cam but they explicitly say you should only use their own brand SD cards to avoid SD recording issues. However, the card supplied with my dash cam and the additional card I purchased both continue to report 'format errors', no matter how many times I reformat them. I get less issues with other non Nextbase branded cards I've purchased on Amazon.

Since I installed the microSD card when I first started using the Nextbase dash cam, I am pleased with it.
Does the job, perhaps if using both front and rear cameras the next size up sd card would be better.

I replaced a SD Card in my Nexbase PIQO 2K Because it was playing up.So I replaced it with your recamended one and it seems to work ok BUT THE PIQO 2K is still not recording some time's it just stays on Blue or flashes fast on Red
