Utterly useless. The camera kept coming unplugged and stopped working. Needs a better connection method and a positive engagement like a physical latch. It would have been very good in principle, but it just did not work, so I returned it for a refund.

Having had someone tailgate me and some days later another person hit the rear of my vehicle this camera is invaluable to prove liability to the insurers with crystal clear images.

I was dubious this mini HDMI device when plugged into the 522 could produce images of value, but I was very wrong. After all, it's looking back through the car rather than being cabled to a location against the rear window. Leaving side the obvious flaw (the view is obstructed on the very rare occasions when there's a middle seat passenger in the rear) it's a very sensible add-on that takes away the hassle of the additional cabling. Would highly recommend.
