ERGO NEXT is the best alternative. If you think they are a do-it-yourself limited service company - guess what - they ALL are now. The big companies make you get your own COI online now and you're bothering them to ask a simple question. ERGO NEXT's monthly payment deductions are easier to cope with than a large annual premium the big guys demand.

License suspension
I was disappointed when receiving a notice from the CSLB about license suspension. The most incensing thing about it was that I called NEXT 8 days prior to ensure that very thing did not happen. It is frustrating enough dealing with CSLB, let alone expecting them to expedite my request to investigate the matter. I will be shopping for new coverage next year as that was an unpleasant and unnecessary experience.

This service has gone down the drain with AI and automated communication. I’ve tried to get customer service on the line for over a week and requested a call back over a week ago. This company doesn’t care about coverage they just want money, they can’t even provide you a COI. Cancel with them as they aren’t that good, do it!
