ACCC report lodged - NextOrder cannot be trusted - AVOID AT ALL COSTS
I actually wish I could leave a -10 star review for this company, as the experience has been a nightmare.
We were lured to the company on the promise of a better e-commerce and POS system, which couldn't be further from the truth. The sales team were warm and friendly - promising to look into things, but it actually didn't happen. When I had concerns about switching to NextOrder, and asked for a meeting with the Founders, I was given the run-around.
The customer success managers had the tendency to say what you wanted to hear and handball or ghost.
Firstly, the customer success team sent out a second-hand Samsung Galaxy tablet, which was locked and unable to be reset. We needed to purchase a new tablet ourselves a day before we were due to launch, with the promise of a reimbursement in our monthly fees. When we decided to transition back to our previous software provider, the team ghosted us, not responding to messages about the reimbursement of the tablet.
We were told that the software could apply a promotion in a similar way to our previous system, which was completely false and not resolved.
We were also told that financial paybacks from Stripe would occur daily, but this is also false. They come 10-days after the transactions were captured. There was also a number of questionable transaction fees deducted from our revenue, which still haven't been returned to us in a transparent and honest way.
Lastly, even after we asked to cancel our service, we were charged website subscription fees not once, twice! This was completely unacceptable, so an ACCC report was lodged.
NextOrder promised the world and under-delivered. If you're looking to switch to this company, don't. They can't be trusted.
Don't use them they are dishonest!
We started with NextOrder in November 2022, with a great sales pitch and good pricing, we thought what do we have to lose? Well we lost $1000's of dollars because our menu was not set up correctly-pricing, and add on's where wrong! We tried to fix it ourselves but you cannot adjust your menu as it doesn't save. On the day of our grand opening our menu was still not fixed, and so we called, emailed, and texted to the team-Daniel, Mark and others-with no response. Finally we tried another phone with a number they had never seen-we got through and Daniel was very sheepish as he had been intentionally ghosting us. We opened to a mess of a system. Glitches in the system meant that more than one order from a table would price subsequent orders incorrectly. Customers were overcharged, under charged, orders went missing from the screen after payments. The best one was being told that up to 7 minutes after a payment went through their eftpos terminals and after it had been approved, it could be rejected and you lose the money. Balancing of daily sales was not easy and often found issues with them, payouts took longer than the next day sometimes up to 2 weeks. Once we had finally had enough, we quietly switched to another platform, with our intention to get our money and tell them to collect their terminals and tablets. The final payout kept getting bumped, we didn't get paid the almost $1000 we were owed. So we chased them, finally agreeing on the amount owing and returned the tablets etc. Once they were returned it took more chasing and weeks later we finally received some of our money with a review though their system reducing the amount by $300 which we are now fighting for. DO NOT USE NEXTORDER THEY ARE LIERS!
Next Order Online Ordering System is a SCAM!!!
Daniel from Next Order will call you and ask to buy a POS system and he will promise you that he will design your website which will include a driver tracking program. I have paid more than $2000+ to get the POS system which is sitting in my garage for more than a year. Every time, I called one of them Daniel, Noah, Mark will take turns and say that it will be delivered the next week. Until now, I haven't received anything. I called them today and it is the same thing. It is going to be two years soon. The companies/restaurants that showed on their website saying that they have designed it is not true. It is a big fat lie! Don't trust this guy. Avoid them COMPLETELY!!!
