Nexus Clips is misleading and feels…

Nexus Clips is misleading and feels like a scam. They advertise smooth editing directly after linking your YouTube channel, but in reality you’re forced to upload large files manually, and uploads often fail. Their editor is clunky, imprecise, and unusable for even basic edits. There’s no trial period, so you only discover the issues after paying. Many others report the same problems. Avoid this service.

Avoid, avoid, avoid! Absolute rip off.

As others have said, they give the impression that what you'll end up with is ready-to-post clips. What you really get it access to the most horrible and clunky online video editor I've ever used. They clearly spent the dev budget on the fancy landing page.

Was recommended this tool by a YouTuber who I usually trust which is disappointing too. Utterly useless and an absolute rip off.

purchased under the impression the ai…

purchased under the impression the ai would clip together my long form videos into short reels backed by their youtuber affiliates who describe it that way. The site is nothing more than a video editor you have to manually use to edit your clips. Asked for a refund after trying to use it for 1 hour and they refused saying it costs them money for me to use it... yes that is how business works, you have operating costs. Seems like poor customer service to not refund someone who barely touched the service and reached out same day as purchasing.

I truly just cancelled my PRO…

I truly just cancelled my PRO subscription (with no refund) after only trying it for a day. Consider the following: You want to try an ai out but can't unless you pay for a month or even a year upfront. You do it in hopes that it works since the competition is so much more expensive. "This would be a godsend if it works!" You think. Well here's the only problem, it doesn't work. Not as it appears at least. You login and connect your youtube account and get all excited to just have the ai start editing all your videos/livestreams. BUT WAIT! Even though you've paid for the service and connected your account, you first need to download the video from youtube and then upload it to Nexusclips... wait WHAT?! Yep! You need to now download and then upload the content you want their ai to edit. My first video was an 8 hour stream playing one of the Halo campaigns. After 15-30 minutes of uploading it failed to upload. This occurred three times before I emailed them with screenshots of the issue. They replied asking for more details (which I explained everything and had nothing else to tell) but I tried it again before replying and it worked. Coincidence? Maybe. Well anyways, I let the ai do its thing and then started the next 3.5 hour livestream. Sorting through the two video clips I realized that even though I asked the ai to find clips of exciting, intense, and engaging moments. Almost all the clips were moments where there were cut scenes or clips that had in game chat from npc's. Nothing that I asked for and never anything worthy of posting. (You also need to select the template and adjust the clips yourself.) Anyways, I asked for a refund right then and there. Two days later I got a reply denying my refund request. I definitely do not recommend! Not even worthy of a one month try. Give this company $0! Streams on YT & Twitch! "DirtBagFace" 😈

Useless product, don't subscribe!

Useless product. Made the mistake to subscribe for a year and I'm now fighting a refund. If that doesn't happen, will challenge it with my CC.

Horrible interface, longest clip is 50s, and it simple fails all the time with "something went wrong". Giving up after a few hours of trying the product.

Hope you read the reviews before buying into this trap, as I failed to do it and I'm now pretty disappointed.

Scam

All these youtubers recommending this product are just taking money for the product that does not work.
I cancelled immediately after I realized it does not work well, reframing isnt working so it is useless. Been corresponding with them for weeks and they keep asking the same questions and there is no resolution. They are not refunding. I have used it once and on the same day asked for a refund. They are scammers, the whole company is a scam. Beware!

Nexus clips is a scam

Nexus clips is a scam. According to the support it cannot be cancelled within the first 15 days (as imposed by the EU law) so they don't give the refund. In the EU it's illegal.
And it doesn't work, so for sure you're asking for the refund because it doesn't do the job you paid for.

Poor product and service

The website usually doesn't work. When it does work, it doesn't work properly.
The customer service is very bad.
And the only thing they communicate clearly is:"NO REFUNDS".
This is false advertising, dirty way of doing business. Total scam!!!

Review of NexusClips: Avoid at All Costs — They Dragged Out Support Until Refund Was Impossible

My experience with NexusClips has been nothing short of a nightmare. I purchased their product in good faith, only to discover right away that it didn’t work properly. Downloads were broken, clips were corrupted, and the software simply failed to deliver on what was promised.

I reached out to their support team immediately and, to their credit at first, they responded asking for more information. I complied. What followed was a textbook example of deliberate stalling tactics. Each reply from them came slower and slower, with vague instructions like "try again with another video" or "we pushed another update" — all of which changed nothing.

After weeks of this dance, I finally asked for a refund. That’s when they ghosted me completely. No response, no resolution. Just silence. They dragged the process out until over a month had passed, conveniently pushing me past PayPal’s dispute window. By the time I filed, PayPal denied my case because NexusClips’ slow-walking made it "too late" to get protection.

This was not bad luck. This was a calculated strategy to avoid issuing refunds and leave customers stuck with broken software.

NexusClips knowingly sold me a faulty product, wasted my time with fake support, then disappeared when it was time to take responsibility. This is not just bad service — it’s dishonest and exploitative business practice.

If you value your money and your time, stay far away from NexusClips. They will happily take your payment, give you a broken product, and then disappear when you need them most. I wish I had seen a review like this before wasting my own money.

There is no trial period, and does not do what it advertises

There is no trial period, but I thought I could at least make some use of it.

It cannot access your YouTube video footage like it implies, you have to upload it a second time. Turns out this is PAINFULLY slow though, so I had to upload a copy 1/4 the resolution to test it. Even this took a few hours.

After testing it, I was not impressed, but thought maybe the bad quality was because I uploaded 720p (although that should still look okay). It turns out you cannot delete a video at all though.

I raised this with support, and asked for a refund - less than one day after paying for a 1 year subscription - and they refused. They also said you cannot delete a video you have uploaded. Their recommendation is to upload it to YouTube again, then also upload it to NexusClips again. Ridiculous.

So long story short; no trial, no refunds, too slow to use, no option to delete uploads, and poor support.

I am going to review this platform on every YouTube video I can find and every review service, as this is probably even illegal in most countries.

No Refund Even After Immediate Request

I purchased the annual plan on [insert date] and realized the service wasn’t right for me the next day. I immediately requested a refund, clearly explaining that I hadn’t used the platform.

Support replied a day later, stating they do not offer refunds as per their FAQ. While I appreciate the quick response, I think it’s disappointing to deny a refund when a customer reaches out within 24 hours and hasn’t used the service.

This experience made me feel locked into a yearly payment for something I won’t use. I’d recommend others think twice before subscribing, especially with no refund flexibility

Unusable and Zero Customer Service

Do not waste your money on this software. it is terrible, they keep updating the way to add video to make into clips and it has been unusable for weeks now. Customer service refuse to refund and simple tell me it is operational. Once they have your money they do not give a shit about you. there are much better providers out there with better functionality and better customer service. Avoid, trust me!
