Unacceptable standard
I recommend all NOT to use this company and to either apply directly early enough or find another agency!
French Embassy has a list of approved agents and Nexus is one of them.
I called and enquired about my daughter's Schengen visa to Paris with our planned travel date (which was earlier than the Schengen travel). Everything sounded professional and organised (which is why I chose them over others who were 20-30 cheaper overall). However, when the process actually started Nexus was a nightmare!
Pros:
Submitting documents was easy with their very well-presented checklist.
Appointment was given on the projected date and very promptly and efficiently.
Cons:
The employment letter we provided had some inaccuracies which was NOT spotted by Nexus, a revision was sent but never acknowledged.
Rude language with the word 'please' unknown to the people I spoke to (a lady, and a male staff called Mark). 'Just listen' and 'I told you' etc were their common language.
Overall, a dreadful service provider with either no communication or contradictory information.
Too quick to keep repeating how they are not responsible and cannot do anything else. I ask nexus to spend half as much time to see how they can assist or provide the service they have taken money for.
It took us too many phone calls to make them understand that there seems to be a problem somewhere and our second travel to Schenghen may be at risk. As a result, they were late to ask us to contact Embassy directly.
They were getting really angry and unwilling to accept any responsibility when I told them they were not providing the support they are supposed to.
As a person who has travelled several times in the past to Schengen, I did get a 2 year ME visa, but it was way too stressful to deal with this crowd – and paying for this extra loop that the French Embassy has imposed on people which is an absolute shame of a money making venture.
