Overall Splendid Outcome - But Not Without Challenges.
Reading some the reviews, I'm surprised that it is the same company we have sourced our kitchen from...
We are thoroughly pleased with the outcome of the kitchen - the design, the installation, and the functionality.
Time will tell on whether the craftsmanship, and quality of the materials is as it's cracked up to be - there seem to be no 20year old NB kitchens we can refer to to determine how they stand the test of time & use...
In addition to the responsibilities of sales and design, Allan took on the role of contact point throughout the process, and was quick to respond & react to our requirements - and he did a standout job!
Because we are a non-DK based international customer, there were some kinks in the process however. Delivery was going to be to our curbside - which NB fixed by coordinating with a local mover to shift it inside our house, and also with installation - where we would have expected plumbing and electricity connections to be completed (hooking up the Bora, and connecting our Quooker) but we learned later that this isn't even a service provided in DK.
Some things to look out for:
- prepare for hooks, hangers, for teatowels;
- consider that "top mounted hob" means set on top of the benchtop, and not inset flush - we on discovered this after the installation
- we sourced our appliances separately from NB, which was a cost saving but a pain in coordinating
- international customers don't have the access to the installation workmen/women for a 'check-up' a week after installation is completed.
