Spoken to really badly and…
Spoken to really badly and disrespectfully when trying to buy a full new set of expensive tools. The reason being that I do not speak Dutch! I am learning but not there yet! Apparently this 30 ish year old employee working in the gooi area (a large contingent of expats surround this store) does not speak a word of English and has never learned his manners.
This is a short description and the situation is difficult to explain however it was obvious that this guy understood exactly what I was saying and chose not to speak to me in English. He did not offer to call another employee in who ‘could speak English’ to help, he did not offer me any assistance what so ever other that to make me feel worthless and stupid! Needless to say I took my money elsewhere and was treated kindly and respectfully and got the tools I wanted. (A lot) So the story ends well for me but I will never go into nijhof again nor will we tell people about it or send anyone there anymore!
When I decided I should leave a comment on trust pilot I thought I would be the only negative review….. I was wrong!! No wonder it was so quiet in the store.
