Brilliant looking watch. Shipping is a tad bit slow, understandably due to cross country issues, but can’t be more excited

I sent my Chronomaster in for repairs, and it was returned with some visible scratches on the case, and the watch was dirty. Further, the box it was shipped back to me was a rather flimsy cardboard box, and the watch was wrapped in bubble wrap. The watch seems to be running okay, but there was no explanation what why wrong (it felt as it a wheel or cog came loose and jammed the watch and the winding mechanism). Even if they did repair it, the condition it was returned with a couple scratches on the case, what looked like dirt on the case, and the box they used to return it to me was not suitable for a $2000+ watch.
It's further telling that this "Swiss Watch" was sent to and apparently repaired in Hong Kong. They justify that claiming Hong Kong is very open with regard to customs. Perhaps, but Nivada keeps knocking the "Swiss" out of the equation at every turn. One would think a watch allegedly assembled in Switzerland, would be returned to Switzerland if it needed repair. I I have no idea of the competence or expertise of the person who fixed the watch, nor do I even know what was fixed.

It seems that once they make the sale, Nivada kicks the watch down the road, and uses third-parties of unknown repute to make any repairs.

The shipment of my watch was a little long after order placed. But the representative was very helpful with my questions. It was well worth the wait. The SUPER ANTARCTIC 3.6.9 TROPICAL × 1 with Bracelet Flat Link was just beautiful and perfect. My local watchmaker was very impressed with the design and he likes the dial color.

Amazing watch! Excellent communication before ordering. Quick delivery. Only improvement would be updates after ordering could have been better

The customer service agent was responsive and courteous. My only complaint is that the supposedly in-stock watch took a full month to get here after ordering.

I ordered the watch, I got the watch, it arrived on time. The watch is extremely accurate. It looks awesome! It's everything I wanted it be. If I had one note, it would be this. I initially wanted the watch on the bracelet, but when I made the decision to buy it was unavailable. I'm happy with the watch on the leather strap for now. It's great, but it would also be nice if I could order the stainless steel bracelet for the autocron separately, so I have the option but it's not available on on Nivada 's accessory page.

I have four variations of the f77 stone dials, including the mkII gold plated. I love these watches! They are on par with watch brands that are significantly higher priced. Can’t wait to see and get more from Nivada

I bought a Chronosport Mecaquartz (now called Autochron for some reason). I must say that it looks and wears nicely, and I love the bracelet. But the chronograph design is almost entirely nonfunctional because the hashes are placed every 2.5 minutes, rather than every minute. Also, the company is sketchy, and I doubt there's much "Swiss" about them. When I ordered in March, the website lead me to believe I was part of the first batch, with deliveries in the beginning of April. I was also supposed to get a free watch roll. Well, I got my watch in the middle of May (shipped from Hong Kong), and there was no watch roll. Also, the silica gel pack they put in the box had broken open, and the little beads got crushed up and smeared all over everything. Lastly, the copy they printed inside the box was complete nonsense, like something was out through google translate and never edited. Bottom line, I feel I grossly overpaid and will not be returning to this brand.

First time I've ever written a review for anything but just couldn't let this one go! I don't think I've ever felt more ripped off than I have purchasing a Nivada Grenchen product. Just atrocious build quality and appears to have skipped any kind of quality control. I've worn this watch maybe a dozen times and today the spring bar on one end of the bracelet is literally falling out! Didn't knock the watch on anything, didn't put it through anything other than normal daily activities and the spring bar is falling out?!! Completely unacceptable and I would avoid the brand at all costs.

Beautiful watch with a legacy. I would highly recommend giving Nivada a try!

Excellent watch which arrived promptly within few days of ordering.

Everything was just amazing, easy selection, easy payment methods and fast delivery.

The Super Antarctic Tropical Dial watch arrived in good condition, however it loses 2 minutes per hour, despite being fully wound. I have unable to get a response from customer service. Nearly $1k for a defective watch and no response from Nivada Grenchen. Buyer beware.

I bought a new watch. What I received was a malfunctioning watch, indicating it wasn't looked at once prior to shipping. I was then required to send my broken "Swiss" watch to China for "repair". The winding mechanism remains very rough, even for a budget watch like this, which is still over $1000. It's a great retro-looking watch, which is what appealed to me. The rest is sub-Timex quality. Never again.

Bad and misleading shipping policies, poor communication, disingenuous responses provided at best.

It was an interesting experience with Nivada, but I am happy with the way they handled and resolved the issue of purchase. I will definitely recommend them
