The boots are absolutely gorgeous and more beautiful in person

Quality and style of the shoes is outstanding.

Ordering was easy. The boots I got from overseas came in about a week. Ahead of schedule from when they said. True to size and the leather is amazing!

First, Nomasei's shoes and boots are both gorgeous and comfortable, even for a slightly older woman with feet that are not totally beautiful. An admitted shoe maven, my Aria boots (in three colors and counting) and platforms have taken first place in the footwear department of my wardrobe. Second, but not less important, their customer service is superb.

Still haven’t gotten my item and it’s a month late. Terrible communication, now being held up by customs in France, where it is being sent from. So the company doesn’t manage it correctly in its own country. So disappointing for an item that costs 500 USD.

The fact that I left this review in October and I am hearing back in December should tell you all you need to know about how terrible the customer service is.

This would have been my third pair of Nomasei shoes. But they CONTINUALLY never came. I then spoke to customer service who said i could pick them up IN STORE IN PARIS during an upcoming trip. I replied that it would be difficult in a busy packed trip and out of my way but that i would try. They did not bother to tell me that they DID NOT HAVE A PAIR FOR ME TO PICK UP IN PARIS. So I went out of my way and lost time to doing other things during a tight weekend trip only for them to a) not have them b) barely apologize. They then refunded me after I complained again. But frankly they made ZERO effort at any point to keep me as a customer. And so have lost me as one.

I recently bought a pair of Strada boots from Nomasei, and I’m beyond impressed! The quality is fantastic, and the fit is perfect. What really stood out, though, was their customer support — they were incredibly responsive, friendly, and went above and beyond to help me with my order.

UPDATE3:28th Oct 25 - after an apology from one of the owners and a €50 credit for a future order I eventually got a working returns slip and the boots arrived back at their warehouse on Friday 17th October. I chased the refund today as hadn’t heard anything and was told it can take up to three weeks, yes three weeks to review returned products and issue a refund. UNBELIEVABLE.
UPDATE2:14th Oct 25 - 5 Days after writing to customer services, online help and founders I still don't have a return waybill that works. Absolutely no contact whatsoever. I have initiated an Amex dispute as it feels like they are ignoring my requests completely. Are any shoes worth this hassle?
UPDATE1: 10th Oct 25 - I wrote to both founders as well as customer services. Nothing. Online help has been on but “very busy” for the whole of today hence no reply. I still don’t have a valid DHL returns slip and won’t hear back now until Monday.

I placed a pre order for silver aria boots at the end of July for delivery end of August. Due to quality issues with the manufacturer this date slipped to mid Sept and then the end of Sept. I always chased for updates as they were never forthcoming. The boots were eventually dispatched to UK 1st Oct but the DHL paperwork they raised was incorrect. The package never left DHL Paris and was returned to Nomasei on the 6th Oct. I asked for the order to be cancelled but they ignored my request saying i would love the boots and shipped regardless. Nomasei re shipped on the 8th Oct and they arrived today. I took one out of the box to find the silver had come off in two spots on the ankle. They were wrapped in a cotton bag inside the box. I put it straight back in the box and got a return label from the website. At the DHL drop off point the barcode wouldn’t scan so the shop reprinted it directly from the Nomasei email and it still wouldn’t scan. The waybill number wasn't valid so they wouldn’t accept the parcel as they couldn't track it. I contacted Nomasei customer service and asked for a new label. That was 3 hours ago and I am still waiting.
At this luxury price point customer service is well below par.
From reviews I’ve read it also looks like the torture isn’t over yet as I’ve still to get a return label that works let alone a refund which should take 5 days but the brand says could take 3-5 weeks if they are busy. Not acceptable.
No shoe or boot is that fabulous that I would ever want to repeat this experience again.
