They lied about cost

We went with a plan which was fixed at an out £29.99 a month for a year. It of been two even. Second month in £45.98...

Why do companies state one thing and do something completely different. Now I've got to get in touch with them and either change it to what it should be Or some other alternative.

You are being charged £45.98 because you chose a Direct Debit date of 1st of each month. Your service went live on 15th November so on 1st December you will have been charged for service between 15th November to 30th November and then from 1st December to 31st December. This information has already been emailed to you.
We have tried calling you a couple of times this morning to discuss this.

Text Book Customer Service

We have No One Internet through CityFibre. Lisa has been very helpful in dealing with the installation process over a month with CityFibre (who unfortunately have a bad review from me). Very prompt at dealing with emails sent, and would have been on the phone with CityFibre to try and resolve issues.

After updating the firmware on the provided router, WIFI speeds higher than guaranteed wired, so nothing to complain about there.

Prices are very competitive, and if you want the personal touch, consider No One as your ISP, they do what it says on the tin.

This is a review of 2 parts, the good and the not quite so good.

Starting with the not so good. Installation was somewhat prolonged as it proved a little troublesome and the van that the team were on didn't have all the parts they needed so they had to wait for a van from another job to bring the part so they could finish the job. Having said that, the installers were polite and explained what was happening, and wore shoe covers each time they entered the house. They checked the work was complete and the internet was working before they left the house.

Next not so good bit, the internet stopped working the next morning. Luckily I had followed their advice and not cancelled my previous provider so it wasn't too much of an issue for me. I reported the issue upon finishing work in the evening and was quickly called by an engineer, who again was friendly, clear and concise. Over the course of the next 2 days we exchanged messages and phone calls until it was decided that it was likely to be a hardware issue. As soon as this was decided I had a new router sent out to me with instructions of how to set it up (which was a breeze).

So, a few teething problems but great customer service and rapid internet (exceeding their guaranteed speeds).

Overall, would recommend

Perfect - it gets no better

Coming from Virgin media my customer service expectations for an ISP were not good and thats being generous - talking to Noone turned that on its head - it was a breath of fresh air - no standard answers from offshore call centres - personal involvement from UK staff with knowledgeable answers and help to my endless flow of questions - nothing was too much trouble and answers came quickly - making the decision to join them over the others who offer City Fibre in Bradford was easy - there were cheaper deals [not much] but its not about the cheapest its about the service and Noone offered that in spades

the install is done by City Fibre - actually Kelly construction - they arrived on time did everything to a high standard and left me connected to 900 down - 900 up using my own router

the help to use my own router rather than the supplied one was first class from Noone - easy to follow instructions meant i was able to set it up easily

its all down to personal choice when choosing the right ISP - for me it was easy

Customer Service

Ordered Sunday, came Friday to install. All good except speed not as promised. Customer Service quickly got on to City Fibre who determined cable supplied with router is faulty. Changed cable did a system reset and speeds are now through the roof.

Best Company Ever - SO to Lisa Hewitt

Best Customer Service Received ever. Vodafone made a mess with my internet set up even though it was cascaded to them a month ago which left me without internet for about 3 days. Contact No On Internet and Lisa made the unthinkable happen. I was back up and running within 2 days. She went above and beyond because I work from home and honestly I just can't thank her enough. Their service is amazing, no more waiting in ques over the phone, just message them, Their tech support is amazing whereby they follow up till the query is complete. They will also provide you with the best solution to all your internet needs. hands down Best ISP I've come across.

Flawless service

Cancelled an order with a different ISP to go with No One and it was absolutely worthwhile.

The other ISP was slow to report the cancellation to CityFibre which caused an issue. No One's customer support got in touch right away, chased up the relevant parties and ultimately had everything sorted out in no time at all (thank you Lisa).

900Mbps both ways exactly as advertised and further queries to support have been answered instantly.

Thoroughly recommended.

I wish I chose No One at the beginning instead of VM

Switched from Virgin Media to No One. This is the best decision I have made so far on choosing a broadband service.

At the beginning, I have booked an installation slot with the CityFibre Engineer, which they did not show up with any notice. On the other day, I emailed No One, and Lisa from the Customer Service team replied within 15 minutes with investigation and status of my installation. Booked another slot quickly and have been following my installation status with me the whole time.

The second time CityFibre Engineer did show up. Installed the fibre. 5 minutes later, an engineer from No One called me to check my installation and internet status, which is working incredibly well.

Lisa has been closely following my installation status. I am very surprised to see such great customer service which I can never see from Virgin Media.

The speed they offer is incredible as well. I got speed test results with about 900 - 1000 Mbps by cable, which is exactly the advertised speed they offered.

Thank you No One Internet for providing such exceptional services and customer support.

Having joined No One Internet this…

Having joined No One Internet this week, I can honestly say this has been the best decision I could have made.
Any questions I needed to ask, Lisa in Customer Services replied and answered almost immediately.

The Installation should have happened in the morning.
However, the team were unavoidably delayed. I contacted Lisa by email, and informed her of the absence of the City Fibre engineers. Lisa telephoned me immediately and arranged for a new team to arrive. Although the engineers were late, the team who arrived were excellent, they checked everything before leaving and everything has been perfect ever since.
I am one very satisfied, delighted customer.

Connection working well and friendly people.

Getting the internet and landline switched to No One was easy and they provided all the required hardware.
I did have a problem with one of the advanced features on the router, but after a few emails that was resolved the same evening as installation.
The internet connection has always worked well since installation, but we did lose the connection yesterday due to a problem at the CityFibre cabinet.
We were able to quickly contact No One by phone to report it and the connection was restored a few hours later.

Update
Home Telecom came into the picture and ruined everything. Rip off prices. Considering they're a reseller providing limited customer service, there are much better alternatives for CityFibre. Good bye.

Faultless. Why can't other providers be like this?

From start to finish everything has been great. The only issues i've had were of my own making, largely due to my own scepticism after years of experience with telecoms providers. Support team is very easy to get a hold of and the team (Ben especially) go above and beyond what we've become acustomed to over the years as customers elsewhere.

Router is great, price is great, internet speed is perfect, support is frankly amazing for the modern era.

The only problem now is i'm going to have to upgrade my hardware to make the most of the 900Mbps!

Super simple to order and get…

Super simple to order and get installed, support is also very friendly and helpful with answering any questions. Ordered very easily, a pre-survey was done for my house, installation was easy and very fast. Connection and speeds are fast and I couldn't be anymore happier. My router was delivered next day from receiving an email that it was posted! Installation people were very friendly and managed to do the job pretty quick. Router was already pre-configured and the password and the admin password are both on the piece of paper you receive with the router package.

Ever since getting it installed on the 2nd of November, had no issues and constant 900 download and 900 upload speeds wired.

Called by Ben from No One (without prompting) saying he noticed our signal wasn’t great…tampered with a few things from his end and have had perfect service since. Cannot recommend No One enough, certainly with regards to customer service…exceptional.

We switched based on the reviews and…

We switched based on the reviews about customer service. From start to finish of switching, the process was efficient and fast.
On the day there was a problem with connecting, got in touch, and within half an hour of finding out what the problem was, we were connected. They are very patient , polite and very good at communication.
How refreshing to find a company that gives good customer service

Couldn’t ask for a better broadband provider!

No One broadband is an amazing company!! I recently left Virgin after being with them for 5 years, and 5 years worth of problems, and I was doing some research on broadband companies with good reviews and came across No One broadband, and decided to give them a go after seeing so many good reviews.

I wanted to wait a few months of being with them to give a decent review, and I’ve now been with them for 3 months.

I went with the 900mbps internet service, and it’s been amazing. My speeds are exactly how they should be and not any less, and I’ve only had 2 small problems in which I had to contact customer service. Both times I rang it was picked up within 10 seconds!! (Big shock to me as previously with virgin id be waiting HOURS.) I believe both times I had Ben to help me, and he was very helpful and friendly.

I cannot recommend this company enough!

NO ONE IS LIKE NO ONE INTERNET :D

I don't usually leave reviews but today I must do. Where should I start...
My previous experience: 3 years ago we moved into our new house and Virgin media was appalling FROM START TO FINISH .. I waited 2 months be connected to the internet ....ridiculous .... they were the only one with the broadband service only and I felt tied to them with a no way out, with their price creeping up year after year and breaching their own contract too last year......I'm so glad that I left Virgin Media .. GOOD RIDDANCE

NOW TO THE SERIOUS STUFF....

NO ONE INTERNET stepped in...Lisa has been great to assist me throughout the connection process, although was scheduled for Tuesday the 31st Oct. has been activated today the 3rd of Nov. only because there was an hiccup from Cityfibre not a big issue at all...
Lisa look after me well, she did make sure that I was happy and OMG I am now!!! All it's connected up and running at the speed advertised....100% great service. I highly recommend NO ONE INTERNET as internet provider company ,see if you can get it in your area cos they are brilliant, no waiting time on customer service phone call, UK number , no silly annoying music, and no automated robotic voice and press 100 buttons to talk maybe to someone LOL

Junk mail doesn't sell

I'm registered with the MPS so No One has been sending its unsolicited mailshots to "The Occupier" to get around the block. It beats me how any marketer thinks this will endear their company to me. Annoying a prospective customer is just not a great idea.

We have gone back to the distributor and asked why you were delivered to if your address is on the MPS. As it's the address registered against MPS all distribution leaflets are sent to "The Occupier" as we don't have anyone's names. I was out of contract with Plusnet

I was out of contract with Plusnet. No One's 900b package was a no-brainer. Plusnet can't offer me those speeds in my area and not at the price if they could. No One's team turned up early. Were very friendly and helpful. It was all straightforward. I was genuinely astonished when Lisa from Customer Support called me personally to enquire why I wasn't online 30 minutes later. She passed me to Ben who got me connected immediately [needed a new password and username]. I was immediately thrilled with my new super speed, but it wasn't 900mb. Lisa said to give it time to settle down. It's been nearly a week and I've checked my speed several times daily using Ookla, Fast & Broadband Speed Checker. Whilst results with different sites vary, it looks like I'm averaging 700mb and as I write my speed is 97mb, and has been so for hours now, which I am distinctly unhappy about, but I've just discovered that Customer Service is not 24/7 and office hours only. Since connection I've had 900mb about four times and I've even had 950 and 1 Gig.I would accept a regular 800mb, but as it stands I don't consider I'm receiving the product sold to me anywhere near consistently enough.

We understand that speed tests for our customers are important to establish if they are getting what they pay for but the problem with speed tests is that the results they give are dependent on a number of factors including whether you're pc / laptop is connected via an ethernet cable or if you're testing from a wireless device. It can depend on the age of the device and whether you are carrying out a browser based speed test. The speed test server you're testing against will impact the results too.
